'World's cheapest pint' in Benidorm costs less than a bunch of bananas
A Brit abroad in Benidorm has claimed to have found the 'world's cheapest pint' in the party city, and people will be thrilled to know it's cheaper than a bunch of bananas If you're looking to sip on the 'world's cheapest pint,' then you may be looking to book a flight to Benidorm this summer. Benidorm is party central, with stag dos and hen dos aplenty, many on their first lads' holidays, and bargain-hunting Brits looking to bag a pint for less than £7. And, it turns out you can get a pint for less than a bunch of bananas in Benidorm, which retail for around 90p, and people are thrilled at the news. Harry, who posts on TikTok as @harrytokky, shared that at the 4JAKS, you can pay just 43p for an ice-cold, delicious pint of beer. "Blimey! What can you get for 43p this day and age?" Harry asked the owner of the pub when he revealed the price of the beer. There were terms and conditions to the cheap beer, however, as you can only get them four nights of the week - but considering there are only three days you can't get a ridiculously cheap pint, it's worth a try. He shared that the pint you get is "Estrella Damm," saying it's not even the "cheap" one, it's the "good" one. The owner then continued saying: "The reason it's so cheap is that we've done a deal with them for the promotions," so rest assured, your pint will be of the highest quality. He shared that it's "usually between six and 10 o'clock," or "four to eight at night," depending on the day, but if he's on the premises, you can get your 50 cent pint. In the comments, people said that they were going to Benidorm soon, admitting: "I can't wait," because they were going to try and bag themselves a cheap beer. "I'm in Benidorm next Tuesday, I'll definitely come down and call in," one woman added. While it's not been confirmed whether this is actually the "world's cheapest pint" as Harry claims, it's certainly a bargain for Brits looking to get boozy. It's not the first helpful video Harry has shared about Benidorm either. He recently warned Brits going on holiday to be wary about which taxis they get into when they're there. He said that "in Benidorm there's only one type of taxi that you should be getting into," and they are "white cars with a blue stripe down the middle". Harry shared that they usually "have a light on the top of the roof," and it will be either green or red. "If they're red, the taxi is in use," whereas if the light is green, it's free to get in. He said these taxis will "take you to your destination nice and safe," which is more than can be said for the "fake taxis" he speaks of. Harry continued: "So guys, if you're coming out to Benidorm, they are the only taxis that you should be looking out for because you don't want to get into some random stranger's car" because they may not take you where you're going. Remember to drink responsibly. The NHS recommends not drinking more than 14 units of alcohol per week on a regular basis. This is the equivalent of six pints of average-strength beer, or 10 small glasses of lower-strength wine.

Man orders pint of Estrella in Benidorm and says price could be 'world's cheapest'
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info A British expat reckons he may have discovered the "world's cheapest pint" in Benidorm, Spain. Louis Grier, who resides in the municipality in Alicante, is accustomed to reasonably priced pints. He purchased a beer for less than a Euro at Uncle Ron's a fortnight ago, but has now uncovered an even more budget-friendly alternative. The 32-year-old, who boasts 42,800 followers, documented his experience on social media platform TikTok following a visit to 4 JKS. In his brief video, he requested an Estrella Damm for merely 50 cents. And it's not a one off either – as people have been travelling from far and wide to make the most of the deal. Louis came up with the idea to offer the "cheapest pints on the planet" alongside the establishment's proprietors, Brett and Andrea. They agreed to sell the beer for 50 cents as part of a four-day weekly special offer. However, despite the bargain price point, the trio maintain it's "not a cheap beer" since the quality remains excellent. He remarked: "People are coming from everywhere to meet up and try it with me. They're calling it the 'Fanatic Pint'. It's the cheapest in Spain, maybe even the world." The beverage has proved so sought-after that Benidorm holidaymakers are reportedly prepared to "queue for the opportunity" to sample one. Part of the appeal involves joining the queue alongside fellow tourists and locals who relish having a laugh over a pint of beer! Louis declared: "It's not just about the pint; it's about the people, the laughter, and keeping Benidorm fun and affordable. This is my second home. Actually, scratch that; this is my real home." (Image: Jam Press/@thebenidormfanatic) Bar proprietors Brett and Andrea commented: "It's about bringing people together and giving people in Benidorm what they want. "We're not pursuing five-star reviews. We are here for good times, reasonable prices, and a bit of madness. That is what Benidorm is all about." It may not be the cheapest beer you can find on the planet, but you'd definitely struggle to find prices like that in Dublin! Central Statistics Office figures from 2024 show that the average price of lager in Dublin is €6.01, which is much more steep than you'll find in Benidorm. Meanwhile, the typical price of a pint of stouts like Guinness is €5.77, while cider will cost around €6.27 on average.
