The brothers are returning home to Heaton Park for the second set of dates of their reunion tour. As fans flock to Manchester ahead of the Heaton Park gigs, they have been making a pit stop at the band's childhood home. Noel and Liam's mum Peggy still lives in their childhood home, having refused to leave the house. ‌ Fans have been spotted on the street and taking snaps outside the home and visit a piece of Oasis history. However, in order to protect their mum Peggy, Noel and Liam have hired security. ‌ In new photos, a guard is seen standing outside the house and patrolling the street, as fans gathered to take selfies and photos outside the infamous property which was once home to the Gallagher brothers. ‌ In a new interview, Noel opened up about the global appeal of the band, where he explained why the group is both loved by those who grew up with them and those who were not around for their first round of success. "A new generation recognises how Oasis wasn't manufactured. It was chaotic, and flawed, and not technically brilliant. We were rough and ready guys from a rehearsal room, and people recognised it," he explains. ‌ Speaking about their music, he said: "I didn't invent anything. I had good taste in music, a cool record collection, I could write a melody simple enough to make it work, and it was 50% inspiration and 50% copying." At their first gigs in Cardiff, fans watched on as the brothers reunited for the first time on stage in well over a decade. The brothers walked out on stage at Principality Stadium to deafening cheers from the crowd. ‌ Walking to the stage with their song "F**king in the Bushes" playing, they wasted no time as they performed their hit "Hello." Thousands of pints were thrown into the air as the sold out crowd celebrated the band being back together. "Hey, beautiful people, it's been too long," Liam said as he addressed the crowd before performing their 1995 mega-hit, Morning Glory. In true Liam style, he made a cheeky remark to the crowd, joking: "I see you're all on the glue still down there!" Get Oasis updates straight to your WhatsApp! The Vice article referenced a story from The Mirror back in 2016. It reported that Noel had decided to play the prank on Liam and have 'decades of fun' as Liam is 'terrified of evil spirits'. Noel recalled at the time: 'It's highly amusing and if we were ever anywhere remotely spooky, we'd tell Liam that the house was haunted, particularly his bedroom. 'We convinced him his bedroom was haunted, so when he'd get up in the morning and go and have his breakfast, someone would go in and turn the pictures back to front, or f***ing move a lamp beside his bed across the other side of the room. "He'd arrive pale: 'Have you been in my f***ing room?' 'No, why?' 'You've been in my room, because now the f***ing lamp is in the toilet.' 'No way, f***ing hell. Wow.' "Yeah, that was amusing. That was worth it.' ‌ The X post about the story has gone viral in the last few days, racking up more than 600,000 views. One person called the tale "so good", while another quipped: "The things people do to keep their spirits up!" ‌ A third chimed in: "It's just the sort of thing an older sibling would do!" Noel and Liam's first show at Cardiff's Principality Stadium saw the pair out on stage together after ending a row which has lasted over a decade. The brothers, from Manchester, came out to a roaring crowd and walked to the stage with their song "F**king in the Bushes" playing. They then performed their hit "Hello," a thousands of pints were thrown into the air by fans. Oasis reunion: Gallagher brothers pictured on stage together as tour kicks off

Noel and Liam Gallagher have been pictured on stage together for the first time in 16 years as the brothers kicked off the Live '25 tour in Cardiff on Friday. While the two brothers are Manchester legends, there were cheeky boos as Liam asked the crowd: "Anybody here from Manchester? Anyone here from Burn-aaage?" he asked. "Right, this is the last one," Liam teased before the Oasis anthem Rock n Roll star began and flares went off in the crowd with red mist filling the air. Some other hits from the set included Fade Away, Supersonic, Roll With It, Half The World Away, D'You Know What I Mean?, Stand by Me, Cast No Shadow, Slide Away and Live Forever It was estimated more than 100,000 people travelled to Cardiff for the show, with some hoping to get a last minute ticket or just to be there to celebrate in the pubs and bars for any after parties following the show.
