Magnifi unveils GenAI upgrade to transform live and archival video storytelling
The enhanced platform simplifies complex workflows with advanced GenAI features, enabling real-time editing, automated highlight creation, vertical-first video publishing, multilingual subtitles, AI-generated metadata and platform-native content delivery. Magnifi by VideoVerse, a global leader in AI-driven video automation, has unveiled a major platform upgrade designed to streamline and accelerate live and archival video editing for sports, media and entertainment industries. The enhanced platform introduces cutting-edge generative AI tools that enable content teams to produce, localise, and publish multi-format video content in real time, eliminating traditional post-production delays. At the heart of the upgrade is a unified dashboard that allows teams to edit more efficiently, automate publishing across platforms, and enhance audience engagement. The new features include real-time editing, AI-powered multilingual subtitles, automated vertical video creation, metadata enrichment and AI-generated thumbnails. This suite of tools addresses longstanding challenges in the industry, including labor-intensive workflows, metadata inconsistencies, and the growing demand for platform-native content across OTT, broadcast and social media. Among the standout upgrades is the enhanced Live Editor, which enables instant highlight generation during events, complete with culturally localised subtitles. The platform's vertical-first video creation tool, Storyteller, caters to mobile and short-form content needs and is already being utilised by FIFA+ to boost engagement. A dynamic rule engine allows content teams to set key event triggers, such as goals, wickets, or touchdowns, for automated publishing, ensuring timely and consistent content delivery. Magnifi's GenAI capabilities also produce platform-ready thumbnails and captions within seconds, significantly reducing manual effort and increasing content accessibility. These advancements have already led to measurable success: the Mountain West Conference in the US saw a 150% rise in viewership through real-time highlight publishing; an Asian OTT platform generated 45,000 clips monthly from 1,500 hours of content; the Indian Premier League (IPL) created 3,500 web stories from 14,000 minutes of footage, driving a 25% increase in web traffic; and a major rodeo partner reported a 15% boost in output, gaining 1.3m new viewers in just two months. Meghna Krishna, Chief Revenue Officer at VideoVerse, said: 'It has been a tremendous journey watching the product evolve from a simple highlight creation solution at inception, into a comprehensive editorial workspace. With this new update, we are empowering content teams to enhance creativity, maximize efficiency, and allocate resources more strategically. We have become a meaningful extension of our clients' editorial ecosystems, supporting both the system and the storytellers with the ease and efficiency of GenAI and automation.' Operating 24/7 across more than 50 global sports, Magnifi processed over 250,000 hours of footage last year alone, generating millions of clips for broadcasters, leagues and federations. With this latest upgrade, the company is now expanding its AI tools to newsrooms and broader media production environments. Early pilots with broadcasters are already delivering promising results in teaser production, newsroom editing, and multilingual content workflows, positioning Magnifi as a game-changer across the content ecosystem.

Where to Watch in India So, where can you catch all the action? Good news—there are a few solid options for Indian fans to watch Real Madrid vs Juventus live. JOHANNESBURG - The COSAFA Cup 2025, scheduled for June 4-15 in Mangaung, promises to be a nail-biting event for football fans. The competition will be staged in Mangaung for the first time, with the Free State Stadium, a venue for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium to host matches. GUBBIO v MILAN FUTURO: MATCH PREVIEW
GUBBIO v MILAN FUTURO: MATCH PREVIEW No rest on Easter Monday for Milan Futuro, who are ready to play on Matchday 37 (out of 38) in Serie C. The boys will be travelling to Umbria to face Gubbio on Monday 21 April at 15:00 CEST, during a positive spell at the end of the season that has begun to show what we are really capable of. Advertisement LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO Oddo's Rossoneri are in their best form of the year, right at the end of a very tiring season. Three wins in a row for the first time this campaign, and it comes at a crucial time, boosting our hopes and energy. From 3-2 against Campobasso, to 2-1 against Sestri Levante, to 1-0 against Ternana: nine points that make a huge difference, and that are hugely deserved for top performances and for the hard work shown over months without much reward. We are still in a tough position in the table, in 17th place on 33 points, so our final two games against Gubbio and Vis Pesaro are huge in reaching our goal. Both Quirini and Magni are suspended. LATEST FROM GUBBIO Fontana's squad are in eleventh place, just behind Pontedera who are ahead on goal difference. It is a key detail because, if it stayed like today, the Lupi would not go into the play-offs, even though they're fully on course for them. It will be a home game and they'll have the support of their fans, and although they score less at home than away, it will hugely boost them to give their all and to push for that win. Their recent form hasn't been great: last weekend they lost to Pescara (0-2) after a draw against Ascoli (0-0). Normally, Gubbio play a 4-3-3, and the striker Tommasini (on eight goals) is their biggest threat. WHERE TO WATCH MILAN FUTURO ON TV In Italy, the game will be exclusively live on TV on Sky Sport e NOW, while worldwide there will be the free streaming on FIFA+. Don't miss our coverage on Instagram, AC Milan Official App - where in the days after the match, the entire match will be available on demand (also on Advertisement LATEST FROM SERIE C The referee will Francesco Zago, from Conegliano.
