Dustin Yu admits he felt jealous of Will Ashley before
Dustin Yu admitted in "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Wednesday that he had felt jealous of Will Ashley back when it was still unclear to him what Will and Bianca De Vera had in the past. During Dustin and Bianca's guesting on the show, they were given the chance by Tito Boy to defend themselves from netizens' various comments about them. Among the comments netizens had for Dustin were his being controlling and jealous, prompting Tito Boy to ask the Sparkle star if he had ever felt jealous of Will. "Nung hindi pa sa'kin clear 'yung ano man 'yung meron sila sa past, 'yung medyo magulo pa, of course, yeah nagselos ako, naguguluhan ako Tito Boy," Dustin admitted. However, Dustin added that he realized he had no reason to be jealous after he was able to talk to Bianca and Will. "Nung nag-usap na kami ni Will and nag-usap na rin kami ni Bianca na wala naman ako dapat pagselosan or intindihin or isipin or i-worry, of course hindi ko na 'yun pinairal, naintindihan ko na 'yun," he shared. Back in May, Bianca and Will talked to each other inside Bahay ni Kuya where they agreed to be duo partners if she makes it through eviction night — a conversation that Dustin overheard. The encounter did not seem to sit well with Dustin, as he later reminded Bianca of their situation. Bianca, for her part, clarified she had no intentions to reignite something from the past and that her conversation with Will had no malice. Dustin then told her he trusted her. All was well among the three as Dustin, who was also up for eviction, later on told Will to look after Bianca and give her reminders should he get evicted, with Will promising that he would. In the early weeks of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," Bianca and Will had confessed to the unresolved tension from their past when they worked together in "Unbreak My Heart" in 2023. Dustin and Bianca were the latest and last housemates to exit Bahay ni Kuya after losing the last Big Jump Challenge to the pair of Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca (BreKa). Mika and Brent now join the previously announced finalists: Charlie Fleming and Esnyr (ChaRes), Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon (RaWi), and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer). Following Dustin and Bianca's exit from "PBB," Bianca clarified in "Unang Hirit" on Wednesday that she and Will. She also said that she and Dustin are proud of him. Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera addressed the myriad of comments and criticism they received from netizens during their stint in 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.' On Wednesday's 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' the former housemates offered candid responses to comments ranging from manipulation to relationship issues. Defending Dustin from claims that he is 'passive-aggressive, manipulator, and backstabber,' Bianca said that she did not see any of those signs from him. 'Ako po, naniniwala po ako na matalino po akong tao and if I did see those signs kay Dustin, I would've strayed myself away from him as soon as I can. Pero wala naman po akong nakitang signs sa kaniya' she said. Bianca further praised Dustin for consistently taking care of her from day one, expressing confusion about where such opinions originated. 'So it doesn't matter whatever they say because they're not in my body and they don't see him through my eyes. So hindi po ako naaapektuhan,' she said. Dustin expressed his appreciation for Bianca's words and admitted being surprised by the comments upon exiting the house, leading to an important period of reflection. 'Feeling ko isa 'yun sa pinaka-importanteng reflection na nangyari sa life ko. Siguro, personally, gano'n lang talaga akong tao, very firm sa mga gusto kong sabihin. I'm very serious sa mga tamang situations, sa mga seryosong situations. As much as I'm willing to listen, gusto ko rin talaga na mapakinggan,' he said. Meanwhile, on comments that Bianca is always distracted and not focusing on tasks, the actress admitted that, initially, she did lack focus. 'Pumasok po kasi ako ng Bahay ni Kuya na magulo po talaga 'yung utak ko. 'Di po ako pumasok nang perfect. And it just so happened na I brought everyone into that journey of really finding myself. So sobrang naapektuhan po talaga 'yung tasks, kung pa'no ko po siya nadiskartehan,' she said. Despite the initial struggles, she confidently stated that she grew over time, acknowledging that her progress was not quick like other housemates, but 'there was improvement.' Tito Boy also noted that some comments about Dustin are that he is controlling and jealous, prompting the talk show host to ask him if he ever felt jealous of Will Ashley.
