These emotional patterns often work in the background and are easy to overlook, yet they have lasting consequences. Yet many hesitate — not because of lack of information, but because of fear-driven avoidance, according to Evans. In an article in Healthline, psychologists refer to this dynamic as the Yerkes-Dodson Law, which describes how stress or fear can improve performance up to a point and then rapidly degrade it. When applying the Yerkes-Dodson Law to retirement planning, a moderate amount of fear can motivate initial action; however, too much of it creates paralysis that outweighs any benefit. Tensions have now resurfaced after an Instagram post revisiting the debate went viral. What ignited the flames further? SEVENTEEN's Hoshi, leader of the group's performance team, liked the post - sparking a fresh clash between ARMY and Carats across social media. The drama had officially begun - especially since many ARMYs hadn't even seen the original video until the screenshot started spreading. Did Hoshi really throw shade at BTS? It's all speculation, but ARMY believe Hoshi's like may have been a subtle jab at BTS, especially given the years-long debate over the 2019 award. Carats, however, insist it was innocent.
