Ferne McCann cruelly mum-shamed for breastfeeding her two-year-old daughter & others also spot ‘massive choking hazard'

FERNE McCann has been cruelly mum-shamed for breastfeeding her two-year-old daughter. Not only this, but others also spotted a ' massive choking hazard ' as the Dancing On Ice and TOWIE star shared what her daughter eats on a typical day. 8 8 8 8 Posting on social media, alongside a clip of her breastfeeding Finty, who she shares with her fiancé Lorri Haines and was born in July 2023, the 34-year-old shared: 'So we always start our day off with some breast milk.' Following this, Ferne explained: 'Then she had a breakfast bagel with cheese and egg. 'She didn't wanna sit in her chair today, so here she is, lady of leisure, just chilling, watching TV. 'I'm gonna be honest, we don't usually make a habit of her sitting on the sofa, but you know, sometimes you just wanna get them to eat and this was what happened this morning." Later in the morning, Ferne shared: 'So she's having a decaf tea, then she had a little breakfast bar.' As Finty strolled around their home, Ferne recognised: 'She had a banana, just waltzing around - she shoved the whole thing in her mouth and then asked for more more.' For Finty's lunch, Ferne served up her 'favourite' dish - a macaroni cheese made with broccoli, alongside a side of hummus and carrots and cucumber. To this, Ferne acknowledged: 'She wasn't really into the little baby crudite, she prefers red pepper. 'More interested in just licking off the hummus, although she did prefer the cucumber. 'She absolutely smashed all of the broccoli cheesy mac.' After lunch, for snacks, Finty tucked into some melon and blueberries, and then for dinner, Ferne made sweet and sour chicken with red pepper, chunky onions and cashew nuts. Ferne then added: 'Served it with rice and then she had grapes to accompany and she absolutely loved it. 'And then more berries al fresco with her sister [ Sunday ] to finish off the day.' The star later wrote: 'Also she has another breastfeed before bed but forgot to film.' 8 Social media users react Ferne's TikTok clip has clearly left many open-mouthed as it was shared just two days ago but has quickly racked up 158,400 views, 4,476 likes and 96 comments. But trolls were out in full force and questioned Ferne's decision to continue breastfeeding her daughter. One person said: 'Two is far too old to be breastfeeding, this is more a mum not wanting to let go.' To this, someone else replied and claimed: 'Agree! It's strange.' Different parenting styles explained There are four recognised styles of parenting explained below: Authoritarian Parenting What some might describe as "regimental" or "strict" parenting. Parents with this style focus on strict rules, obedience, and discipline. Authoritarian parents take over the decision-making power, rarely giving children any input in the matter. When it comes to rules, you believe it's "my way or the highway". Permissive Parenting Often referred to as "soft parenting" or "yes mums/dads". Permissive parents are lenient, only stepping in when there's a serious problem. They're quite forgiving and they adopt an attitude of "kids will be kids". Oftentimes they act more like friends than authoritative figures. Authoritative Parenting Authoritative parents provide their children with rules and boundaries, but they also give them the freedom to make decisions. With an authoritative parenting style, parents validate their children's feelings while also making it clear that the adults are ultimately in charge. They use positive reinforcement techniques, like praise and reward systems, as opposed to harsh punishments. Neglectful or Uninvolved Parenting Essentially, neglectful parents ignore their children, who receive little guidance, nurturing, and parental attention. They don't set rules or expectations, and they tend to have minimal knowledge about what their children are doing. Uninvolved parents expect children to raise themselves. They don't devote much time or energy to meeting children's basic needs. Uninvolved parents may be neglectful but it's not always intentional. A parent with mental health issues or substance abuse problems, for example, may not be able to care for a child's physical or emotional needs consistently. Another added: 'My god. Give her a cup of milk.' Whilst a third gasped: 'Breastfeeding and a nappy at two years of age!!!' Not only this, but others spotted a 'massive choking hazard' as one user advised: 'Please watch your children while they eat and get them to sit down - massive choking hazard to let them walk around.' Ferne's breastfeeding journey But this isn't the first time Ferne has been shamed for breastfeeding Finty. Earlier this year, the reality TV star explained: 'Haven't posted about my breastfeeding journey in a while, but I still get a lot of people asking if I'm still doing it. 'In complete honesty, I've been a bit nervous to share about it lately. Even though I'm such a big advocate for breastfeeding, the truth is, I've been afraid of what people might think or say now that Finty is 20 months old. 'I'm sharing this because if you're like me and still feeding, and you're feeling pressure to stop or wondering if it's 'not the norm' to breastfeed past one, I just want you to know…there are plenty of mums still doing it. Keep going, mamma. 'However it looks, do your normal. 🤎' Not only this, but also on social media, Ferne previously wrote: 'I get asked all the time 'Are you STILL breastfeeding?'' To this, the mum-of-two confirmed: 'To me it feels like the most natural thing in the world. And I wonder when the question changed from 'are you breastfeeding?' To 'are you still breastfeeding?' 'There's so much misinformation about how long breastfeeding is 'appropriate.'' 8 8 When to stop breastfeeding? The NHS recommends breastfeeding your baby exclusively (feeding them breast milk only) for the first six months, but it's completely up to you to decide when you want to bring it to an end - and there's really no right or wrong way to do it. The NHS says stopping breastfeeding often happens gradually as your baby begins to eat more solid foods. They note that solid food shouldn't replace breast milk, as there is evidence to suggest breast milk helps a baby's digestive system when processing solid food for the first time. "Once they are eating solids, your baby will still need to have breast milk or formula as their main drink up to at least their first birthday. "Cows' milk isn't suitable as a main drink for babies under one, although it can be added to foods, such as mashed potatoes,' recommends the NHS. You can also combine breastfeeding with formula and the NHS claims "phasing out" of breastfeeding is often the easiest way - for example, dropping one feed in the day or at night time. After around one week, you can begin to think about dropping another. The NHS advises: "If your baby is younger than one year, you'll need to replace the dropped breastfeed with a formula feed from a bottle or (if they are over six months) a cup or beaker, instead.' What's the average age to stop? You can breastfeed your baby for as long as you want and while the NHS recommends breastfeeding exclusively for the first six months, you shouldn't feel like you cannot continue for longer. The World Health Organisation explains: "Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended up to six months of age, with continued breastfeeding along with appropriate complementary foods up to two years of age or beyond."

Reality TV stars and criminal lovers - from acid attack to fraudster ex

Despite their seemingly glitzy lives on screen, plenty of UK reality stars have found themselves embarking on romances with criminals with dark pasts, including acid attack crimes and drug dealing charges From TOWIE to Love Island, some of our favourite UK reality stars have fallen for partners with the darkest of criminal pasts. Behind the seemingly glamorous lives of some of these reality TV stars, lies relationships that have turned sour over the years after horrifying crimes and dodgy pasts came to light. On Monday, it was revealed that Ferne McCann's ex-boyfriend and the father of her daughter Sunday, seven, has struck up a romance with ex-Love Islander Amelia Peters. ‌ The thug is serving 20 years behind bars after launching an acid attack on 16 people in a nightclub, leaving them with chemical burns. Here, we take a look at some of the reality stars who have been caught dating criminals. ‌ Ferne McCann Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann, 34, was left devastated when her partner Arthur Collins, 32, went on the run from police after launching an acid attack in a nightclub while she was pregnant in 2017. Collins was sentenced to 20 years behind bars after police caught him in Northamptonshire, where he fled in the wake of the horrific assault. Ferne dumped him immediately, and gave birth to their daughter Sunday later that year. He injured 22 people when he threw a corrosive substance in Mangle E8 nightclub. He claimed he thought it was a date rape drug at the time, with 16 people suffering serious burns. Now, former Love Islander Amelia Peters has struck up a romance with the criminal behind bars. It's claimed Collins contacted Amelia last October when checking out her Instagram profile. He has sent her bouquets and she regularly visits him in prison, it is said. ‌ A source added: "They talk all the time - despite the fact he's in jail. He's got a phone they speak on and he's sent her flowers a number of times." Shaughna Phillips Love Island star Shaughna Phillips recently announced her pregnancy to fans. The star is expecting her second child with Billy Webb, who is still serving time in an open prison. ‌ Billy, who is also the father of her first child Lucia, was sentenced to nine years in prison pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply 4.5 kilograms of cocaine worth at least £360,000. He served 12 months. As Billy had day releases from the open prison, TV personality Shaughna has been able to enjoy family days out with him over the last seven months. The 30-year-old star only recently announced her pregnancy via her social media channels on Sunday morning. She exclusively told the Mirror: "We're so happy to announce we are adding to our little family. Lucia is going to be the best big sister and is really excited to have a new baby brother or sister arrive later this year." ‌ Lauren Goodger TOWIE original Lauren, 38, began dating Joey Morrison in 2017, while he was serving a 16-year prison sentence. Morrison, 38, was jailed in 2010 for dressing as a postman to burgle properties, after police found him in possession of £60,000 of cocaine and a £90,000 Land Rover. ‌ In 2018, shortly before his release from prison, Lauren dumped him, accusing him of sending female "fans" explicit snaps from his grotty jail cell. Gemma Collins Gemma Collins, 44, first dated Stephen Mortimer in 2016. Stephen was jailed for two years in October 2016 for stealing jewellery in a home raid, just months after he had split from the reality TV favourite. ‌ He has had a fair few brushes with the law and was famously sent back to jail while Gemma was in Celebrity Big Brother. Stephen had allegedly breached licence terms by moving in with the CBB star at the time. He had previously spent two years in prison for grievous bodily harm (GBH). Amy Childs ‌ Another TOWIE favourite Amy Childs, 35, welcomed her first child Polly, eight, with convict Bradley Wright in 2017. Wright is a builder who has a criminal record and has served two stints in jail and time in a Young Offender Institution. He and Amy first struck up a romance back in 2013 but split in 2015. They rekindled their romance in March 2016. Wright was sentenced to 18 months in prison for handling stolen goods in 2014. He already had a criminal record having received a sentence of 16 months at Basildon Crown Court, Essex, in 2013, for three counts of theft. ‌ In 2010 he spent 19 months in a Young Offender Institution for burglary, handling stolen goods and driving offences. Amy revealed that she suffered from a breakdown when he went to prison at the time. Dani Dyer Dani Dyer famously dated Sammy Kimmence before her appearance on Love Island, and rekindled their relationship in 2020. The couple have a son together, who was born in 2021. ‌ But Dani, 28, was left heartbroken when the former stockbroker was jailed for defrauding £34,000 out of two pensioners. He took money from the two men, aged 81 and 91, claiming he would invest it by placing horse-racing bets. Portsmouth Crown Court heard he instead spent the money paying off his own debts and funding his lifestyle. He was handed a three-and-a-half-year jail sentence in 2021. Dani split from the conman later that year after she claimed he had lied to her about his crimes.

He was recently moved to HMP Buckley Hall in Rochdale where he is said to have been visited by Amelia frequently. A source told The Sun: 'Amelia has made no secret of her relationship with Arthur and has told her friends she's mad about him and thinks he's the one. 'She says she thinks Arthur is a changed man. 'Some of her mates are worried about her getting involved with him but Amelia won't listen.' Ferne McCann 's ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins has allegedly struck up a romance with Love Island star Amelia Peters - who believes he is 'The One' Arthur is said to have a phone in prison that he uses to talk to Amelia 'all the time'. It is illegal to possess a phone in prison. If found guilty, the maximum penalty is a further two years imprisonment and/or a fine. In 2018, Arthur was jailed for another eight months for using a smuggled mobile phone to call his reality TV star ex-girlfriend Ferne from his cell. Amelia, 26, hinted at romance last month on Arthur's birthday when she posted a picture of a bouquet of red roses with the letter 'A' above. She wrote on the Instagram snap: 'Happy birthday to the most handsome pain in the a**e, Love you x.' A separate source told The Sun that Amelia and Arthur are simply 'family friends'. MailOnline has contacted HMP Buckley Hall and Amelia for comment. Former teaching assistant Amelia appeared on season three of Love Island - which was ultimately won by Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies. She entered the show as a Casa Amor bombshell but failed to couple up and was dumped from the island after just two days. At the time, she was the youngest star to have ever appeared on the show, entering the villa aged 18. In 2022, it was revealed Arthur had found love with an Essex mum and former Page 3 girl while in prison and the pair were engaged to marry. Businesswoman Annie Jane, who presented an adult show on Babestation for 11 years, confirmed the couple's engagement on Instagram, telling friends and family 'I said yes' while sharing a tattoo of Arthur's name she has inked on her stomach. A source close to Annie told MailOnline: 'Arthur and Annie met prior to his prison sentencing through mutual friends. 'They plan on getting married while he's still behind bars later this year after dating for the past six months. 'Annie is aware of Arthur's past but is prepared to commit herself to him, even getting a tattoo of his name to prove her love. 'They have a lot in common; Annie also has a young daughter, and believes the pair connect on a spiritual level. 'They fell in love after writing to each other and talking through prison visits and Annie believes Arthur is truly sorry for everything that happened. 'Annie has done a lot for Arthur's rehabilitation, she feels they're soul mates, and together they are looking forward to the future and one day having a family life of their own.' Prior to this, it was reported that Arthur was in a relationship with former Take Me Out contestant Gemma Elliott. Arthur, who shares daughter Sunday, seven, with former TOWIE star Ferne, was sentenced to 20-years behind bars after he was found guilty of hurling a corrosive substance over a crowd on the dance floor at nightclub Mangle E8 in what Jude Noel Lucas said was a 'despicable act.' He was in an on/off relationship with Ferne for a year after meeting in 2016. She was pregnant with their daughter when he carried out the acid attack. Ferne, 34, has since moved on with businessman Lori Haines and the couple share daughter Finty, 22 months. The pair announced their engagement in July 2022, just seven months after going public with their relationship.

Ferne McCann enjoys glam day at the races as jailed acid attacker ex caught being injected with drugs

FERNE McCann enjoyed a picture-perfect day at the races as her ex Arthur Collins was embroiled in a prison drug scandal. The TOWIE alum gushed over her "gorgeous' day at Royal Ascot as she posted a series of images showing her in a plunging mint green gown. 7 7 7 Yet, at the same time, The Sun exclusively reported how the father to her seven-year-old daughter Sunday, who was jailed for an acid attack, had been caught getting a suspected steroid injection in his cell. Video of Arthur Collins, 32, taken on a smuggled phone, came as he was linked to drug drops by drone at jails in Herts and Greater Manchester. Meanwhile, mum of two Ferne, 34, was letting her hair down at the iconic annual sporting event. In her caption, she ignored the breaking scandal and wrote: "Royal Ascot you were gorgeous. "One of my favourite days. No big wins sadly although I did pocket £14.50, better than nothing right. "Thank you for having me @ascotracecourse @hunt_communications here's to next year." Images showed her in a plunging silk slip dress with cap sleeve detail and a ruched design on the front which accentuated her toned figure. Ferne paired the frock with white point-toe wedge shoes and a feathered fascinator. She left her brunette locks in natural waves flowing over her shoulders and kept her make-up natural. Ferne welcomed eldest daughter Sunday with acid attacker Arthur in 2017. Earlier that year, Ferne's then-boyfriend Arthur was charged with a London nightclub acid attack that happened in April. Ferne announced her pregnancy shortly after his arrest, stating the relationship was over and that she planned to raise their baby alone. Eight years ago, Arthur was found guilty of five counts of grievous bodily harm and nine of actual bodily harm, and sentenced to 20 years behind bars with an extra five on licence. TOWIE STARS SPIN OFF WITH the announcement TOWIE will return in 2025 for two new series, it's good news for some former ITVBE stars, too TWO of the show's best loved former stars will celebrate their own big life moments with a spin off series featuring Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou. Their new show title is currently unconfirmed. The pair, who first met and found love on TOWIE back in 2014, finally say 'I Do' in a three part special produced by Objective Entertainment. The show will follow on from the success of their Baby Steps series. JAIL JAB This weekend, we reported how Arthur appeared to be seen being injected in his bum in his jail cell. In the clip, he is asked, 'Hey, bruv, what are you doing?', by a fellow prisoner — before replying: 'Injecting.' The exchange was caught on our exclusive video, showing laughing Arthur apparently receiving a jab in his buttock from another lag. He could face disciplinary action after the body-building drug was seemingly sneaked into the jail, along with a handset used to record footage in his cell. Collins was recently switched from The Mount Prison — where the footage was taken — amid fears he was plotting to import drugs using drones. And it comes after a jail anti-corruption team found illicit items at his new home — HMP Buckley Hall, near Rochdale. A source said: 'Collins has been in trouble constantly and doesn't seem to care. He goes around like he is the big 'I am' and as if he rules the roost.' His actions will sicken the 22 victims of his 2017 attack when he hurled acid across in an East London nightclub — leaving 16 people with serious burns. 7 7 7

Ferne McCann's ex 'injected with steroids in jail' after major police probe

Ferne McCann's ex, Arthur Collins, is serving a 20-year sentence for hurling acid inside a London nightclub - leaving 16 people with chemical burns and three temporarily blinded Ferne McCann's ex, Arthur Collins, has been caught getting a suspected steroid injection in jail, according to reports. The 32-year-old, who shares daughter Sunday, six, with TOWIE star, Ferne, 34, is serving a 20-year sentence for hurling acid inside a London nightclub - leaving 16 people with chemical burns and three temporarily blinded. This week, the Mirror reported that Collins has been moved to a tougher jail after being probed over fears he was plotting to smuggle drugs into Cat C HMP The Mount using drones. In a video published yesterday - reportedly taken from The Mount on a phone smuggled into his cell - the dad-of-one can be seen with his top off, wearing a pair of tracksuit bottoms and appears to receive a jab in his buttock from another prisoner. In the clip from The Sun, Collins is asked: 'Hey, bruv, what are you doing?' by a fellow lag before replying: 'Injecting.' The exchange shows Collins laughing, apparently receiving the injection as his pal jokes: "You think you're big or what?" Collins could face disciplinary action after the body-building drug was seemingly sneaked into the jail, along with a handset used to record footage in his cell. The former scaffolder was recently switched from The Mount Prison — where the footage was taken — amid fears he was plotting to import drugs using drones. Claiming the criminal is 'constantly in trouble,' a source said: 'Collins has been in trouble constantly and doesn't seem to care. He goes around like he is the big 'I am' and as if he rules the roost.' Prison chiefs launched an investigation over suspicions that dealers were flooding the Mount with drugs using drones. Concerns were raised that Collins had masterminded the plot in the Herts prison. No police investigation was carried out, but the Mirror revealed that Fern's ex has been moved to a tougher jail. A source told us: "Collins has been at the centre of a major internal prison investigation. There were fears drug dealers had been using drones to flood HMP The Mount with drugs. It's a huge worry that tens of thousands of pounds worth of drugs were going to make their way into the jail. "The police have not been called in as it has been dealt with internally. Collins has now been moved to another prison, which is a lot stricter." Collins launched his acid attack on a packed dance floor at Mangle nightclub in Dalston, East London, during an Easter weekend night out in April 2017. He had claimed he threw the substance by mistake after hearing a group of men plotting to spike a woman's drink. The court heard that he picked up a container that he thought was a date rape drug and threw it away. But a jury found him guilty of carrying out the acid attack that left clubbers in agony and sparked a panicked evacuation and a massive emergency response. He was convicted of five counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and nine of actual bodily harm.
