The First National Conference on the Development of English Language in Libya

On Saturday, the Corinthia Hotel in the capital, Tripoli, hosted the First National Conference on the Development of English Language in Libya.
The event was jointly organized by the Institute of Planning and the International College of Languages, and was attended by a distinguished group of academics, experts, and individuals interested in advancing English language education in the country.
The conference saw broad participation from the Military Engineering College, representatives of various ministries, and educational institutions from both general and higher education sectors. It also witnessed a notable presence of students and researchers from different Libyan cities.
The conference program included scientific sessions and research papers that addressed the challenges facing English language education and explored ways to develop it in line with Libya's human development needs.
The discussions concluded with practical and academic recommendations aimed at shaping effective future educational policies.
The conference represents a fruitful collaboration between the Institute of Planning and the International College of Languages, within the framework of strengthening academic partnerships and building national capacities in education and training.
