MAFS Australia star Jamie Marinos says Dave split was 'real kick in the teeth'
Married at First Sight Australia star Jamie Marinos opened up about her time on the E4 show, and the romance rumours with Eliot Donovan Married at First Sight Australia star Jamie Marinos has divulged more about her time on the show, and where her and Dave are now. The former E4 bride opened up during a chat on Lorraine's ITV breakfast show on Tuesday, July 22. She explained why she felt the breakdown of her and Dave's relationship after their on-screen marriage was a "kick in the teeth" at the time. However, she also explained she's not opposed to reconnecting with him if they had a chance at rekindling a friendship one day. Jamie also lifted the lid on her alleged romance with co-star Eliot Donovan as she chatted to Christine Lampard. The pair sparked romance rumours following filming on the show, as they were snapped out and about together appearing to enjoy a lot of one-on-one time. Revealing why she chose to go on the Australian reality show, Jamie said: "I have always loved MAFS - it's just crazy. It's the one reality television show that I feel Australia does right, which we don't have many of… MAFS was always crazy and so I just thought why not?" She continued: "I mean it surely was better than whatever I was selecting myself. I was like I can't do it, so I am going to let three experts find me a husband and I honestly went in thinking I am going to have it all. I am going to walk out with my man, have my babies - it didn't plan out that way, but that's okay." Opening up about the moment that her relationship with Dave Hand came to its end, Jamie said: "That was a real kick to the teeth. When they say that the carpet's ripped out from under you, that's exactly what it felt like because no one saw it coming. I remember looking around at production, cameramen, cast, and no one could make sense of it. Everyone was so shocked. "He wasn't giving any indication even in his private camera moments, so it came out of nowhere. At that point, I felt that heartbreak and I knew public humiliation was about to come my way too and just overall rejection. I think it was a really tough time for me but then there is a lot of beauty in the lessons you learn and the strength that you acquire." Confirming that she has not been in touch with Dave since the show, Jamie said: "No contact, but I think it's for the best. We both needed to protect our own peace and find our own happiness. I'm not closed off from reconnecting as friends in the future because we did share a really unique experience, but at the moment, no contact." Addressing the relationship rumours with her co-star Eliot Donovan, Jamie told viewers: "Eliot and I, look we definitely fell into a flirtationship. I was very much off the market during airing, I didn't want anyone to know that Dave and I didn't work out because we were such a love story. And then, kind of as soon as I was like, 'I'm free and single', Eliot and I's friendship definitely developed. We kind of explored something a little bit more. It's a bit complicated being in two different states so what we did want to focus on is the friendship because it's a really beautiful friendship."

MAFSAU's Billy spotted kissing blonde woman amid Awhina sharing cryptic post about their friendship
Married at First Sight Australia's Billy Belcher has been spotted kissing a mystery blonde woman in a nightclub in Bali, just weeks after he and co-star Awhina Rutene, seemingly confirmed their relationship, and now Awhina has shared a statement on their friendship. In a video obtained by the Daily Mail Australia Billy can be seen kissing an unknown blonde woman in a nightclub in Bali. The video was released last night [13 July] and appeared to be taken just over the weekend. Just last week Awhina and Billy had been holidaying in Bali together, with many fans presuming it was their first trip away as an official couple, as last month they shared a number of photos together on their Instagrams which appeared to confirm their romantic relationship. However, just mere hours before the footage of Billy kissing the unknown woman surfaced, Awhina shared an Instagram post, where she clarified she and Billy are just good friends. Awhina posted a video of the pair doing various outfit transitions and then captioned it: "Just two besties & our matching fits 🫶🏽 I know everyone wants to see a romance between us but we're grateful to have built such a beautiful friendship from this experience 🥺." Many fans were confused to see the declaration of friendship from Awhina, as many pointed out the pair had seemed to hard launch their romantic relationship just weeks prior. One wrote: "this is straight up the mandela effect because i swear you hard launched a relationship ?? 😂." While another said: "I'm sure i had seen a relationship was confirmed! 🥺." Back on 5th June, Awhina shared a number of pictures of the pair together in what appeared to be confirmation of their romantic relationship. In the pictures Billy can be seen with his arm wrapped around Awhina, and she's captioned the post "I'll keep this one 🤭" with Billy adding: "Me and @_awhinarutene can't thank you all enough love you guys 🙏🏼❤️." So far Billy has not commented on the kissing video or his relationship with Awhina. The pair met while married to two other people while appearing on the most recent season of Married at First Sight Australia. Billy was married to Sierah and Awhina to Adrian, however, neither marriage lasted, and since the show ended the pair have grown close. But despite what fans may want it appears it's strictly platonic between these two.

MAFS Australia's Jacqui Burfoot leaves fans 'cringing' over latest move
Married at First Sight Australia's Jacqui Burfoot was one of the most talked about brides on the 2025 series, however she's certainly not letting fans forget about her. Married at First Sight Australia fans have been left in hysterics after one bride appears to have been caught out. Jacqui Burfoot has been spotted reportedly running a fan donation page, which followers claim she's using to get free coffees. If that claim wasn't cringeworthy enough, the controversial MAFS 2025 bride has, so far, seemingly been her only contributor, as it appears on the website she has donated a coffee alongside a penned message to what seems to be herself. Fans spotted the ick-worthy move and took to Facebook. They claim Jacqui has set herself up on a site designed for people to donate coffees to each other. You go on someone's profile, and send them an amount of money which would amount to a coffee from a nearby coffee shop. The person then gets stamps. Jacqui 's alleged account bio reads: 'Cameo Queen, Hot Mess, Reality TV Star, A lil cray cray, Former Lawyer, Dog Mum & recently engaged!!'. It lists that she has had just one person donate to her, which the website claims was herself. Where the site prompts you to 'say something nice' about the person you're donating to, she's allegedly written about herself in third person. This claim was echoed by a former MAFS star, who took to TikTok to poke fun at the revelation. Harrison Boon, who starred in MAFS in 2023, appeared baffled at the discovery. "Jacqui has downloaded the app where her fans can buy her a coffee. But no one would buy Jacqui a coffee for $8 because, who in their right mind would," Harrison claimed. Harrison then alleged that Jacqui herself had commented on the page. 'Thank you for all the laughs. You were our favourite bride of all time. Never a dull moment,' the comment said. The comment was written underneath the very clear outing: 'Jacqui Burfoot became a supporter.' Since she got engaged to co-star Clint Rice, Jacqui has been posting about being a 'passenger princess' and driving around in a Porsche. Meanwhile, Jacqui and fiancé Clint may have not been matched on Married at First Sight 2025, however they did find each other. Both married to others on the E4 reality show, their whirlwind romance began after filming. The controversial MAFS couple, who shocked fans when they got together, don't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. The pair already appear to be making plans for their wedding, and hinted at their huge baby news. Jacqui and Clint, who got engaged at a MAFS viewing party last month, answered some burning fan questions recently. One follower pressed the couple on a date for their wedding, as Jacqui revealed they are looking to tie the knot early next year in 2026. She also admitted they are openly talking about having children. Responding to fans questions as they both sat together in Clint's luxury Tasmanian home, Jacqui said: "We haven't set a wedding date yet, but we're hoping it will be between January and March next year. "We're actually ready for kids and babies. Personally, I want to get married before I get pregnant. I don't want to be dealing with the drama of being pregnant and having a wedding dress be altered throughout my pregnancy." "We're very keen to get married ASAP," she added.

MAFS star rushed to hospital for emergency heart surgery
Married at First Sight Australia star Tony Mojanovski has been rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after he suffered a heart attack. The 53-year-old groom, who was matched with Morena Farina on the E4 reality show , was admitted to hospital after suffering chest pains. He has now given fans an update on his health from his hospital bed, alongside co-star Ryan Donnelly, who visited him. Tony is said to be in a stable condition, according to Australian news outlet Nine. "Last week I had a bit of a scare and I just wanted to say a big thank you to the people of Wollongong Hospital, the people in the cardiac division they've been absolutely amazing," Tony said. In a video filmed alongside Ryan, Tony continued: "I am wired up as you can see, just checking things on my heart I'm going to be here until Monday. "But just a big big thank you to all the people in the Wollongong Hospital, they're amazing especially the doctor who operated on me." Tony's co-stars from the experiment rallied around him, with Ryan penning a message to Instagram. "Tony Time had a brief intermission dropped by to see my best mate and he was literally on the phone with Adrian [Araouzou]. Can't keep a good Macedonian man down, he'll be back to his best in no time!" Ryan wrote. Fans took to the comment section of Ryan's post to wish Tony a fast recovery. "Sending healing prayers Tony! One of my best grooms of all time. You're like a breath of fresh air and you lit our screens up," one wrote. Another chimed: "Speedy recovery Tony. It's good you have good friends around you." Tony, 53, was season 12's oldest groom. The charter captain tied the knot with fitness instructor and DJ Morena, 47. Despite hitting things off at the start, the couple faced a number of challenges throughout their rocky marriage. Tony was accused by on-screen wife Morena of disappearing like "Houdini" on a number of occasions instead of trying to make their relationship work, and who can forget her grievance with being 'fist bumped' like a mate. Despite fireworks going off between the pair on their wedding day, arguments and tension soon arose as they both realised they had different communication styles. They eventually decided to both write leave at the commitment ceremony, and go their separate ways. The nail in the coffin for their relationship occurred when it came to light that Tony confessed he wanted to be a dad, despite leaving his co-stars and the relationship experts confused with the revelation, something which wasn't on 57-year-old Morena's radar. During his final interview, he said: "I always believe that when you meet a woman it's there instantly, in the first 30 seconds, it wasn't there. "I wanted to at least feel the experience, to learn off her, learn from the experts, get some information about where we're going wrong in life. "But it got to a stage where I just couldn't be around her and I was ducking and weaving and I was going to see my dog." Morena was not holding any feelings back in the end, penning "good riddance" on her card while Tony also opted to leave.
