(Simon Sheehan/CP24) Three people have been taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a pole in Flemingdon Park Saturday night. Emergency services responded to a collision in the area of Linkwood Lane and Shady Golfway, east of the Don Valley Parkway, at 9:14 p.m. Toronto police say there were four occupants in the vehicle at the time of the crash. One man sustained life-threatening injuries, while another two suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police say. All were taken to the hospital. The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Police search for suspects after 2 teens shot in Flemingdon Park

Toronto police are searching for suspects after two teens were shot in Flemingdon Park early Thursday morning. Two teenagers suffered serious injuries after they were shot in Toronto's Flemingdon Park neighbourhood early Thursday morning. The shooting occurred in the area of Don Mills Road and St. Dennis Drive, near Eglinton Avenue, shortly before 2 a.m. Paramedics said two males, ages 17 and 18, were transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made and no information has been released on possible suspects. Police confirmed that the guns and gangs unit will be investigating.

Toronto police are searching for a man who they say allegedly threatened a stranger with a gun in North York's Flemingdon Park area Thursday afternoon. Officers say they were called to the St. Dennis Drive and Deauville Lane area at around 4:30 p.m. for reports of a person with a firearm. It's alleged that the suspect approached the victim and began a conversation before revealing what appeared to be a firearm tucked in his waistband and threatening to shoot. 'The suspect then fled the area and was last seen travelling northbound on Deauville Lane on foot,' police wrote in Saturday's news release. Officials also say that they believe the suspect and victim did not know each other. The suspect is described as a man between 20 and 25 years old, approximately five-foot-eight with a medium build. Police say 'he was wearing a black facemask, black swaeter, blue/black pants and black shoes." Police are urging the public not to approach the man if spotted, and are asking anyone with information to come forward or call 911 immediately if seen.
