'Both are coming out of this financially secure': Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness' divorce made official as settlement details surface

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have officially finalised their divorce, it has been revealed. The Australian actors, who met on the set of Corelli in 1995 and wed the following year, share two children: Oscar, 25, and Ava, 19. According to court records obtained by the Daily Mail, a judgment of divorce was filed on June 12, though it wasn't made public until Monday. Additional documents were filed two days earlier on June 10, including a 'Qualified Medical Child Support Order' relating to insurance, and a filing titled 'Findings of Fact/Conclusions of Law'. While the divorce was effectively wrapped up earlier this month, the paperwork required a final sign-off from a judge before it was formally entered. Sources close to the couple say the settlement process was handled behind closed doors, with Furness reportedly walking away satisfied with the terms. Last month, an insider told the outlet that "a settlement was reached" that the Force of Nature: The Dry 2 star was "pleased with". "There was some back and forth regarding this financial agreement but, in the end, she got what she believed she deserved," the source said. "Both are coming out of this financially secure. "There is not going to be any drama with this- it gives closure that she needed." The divorce documents, filed by Furness' lawyer Elena Karabatos, include a certificate of dissolution, a proposed judgment of divorce, a proposed child support order, a continuation of health care notice, and a state registry form for child support. A second source claimed Jackman, who is now dating his former Broadway costar Sutton Foster, is "looking forward to the future and not looking back". As of May 2025, the Wolverine star's estimated net worth sits at USD$180 million, while Furness is worth around USD$70 million. The pair did not sign a prenuptial agreement, which reportedly complicated the division of their sizeable property portfolio spread across the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. News of the finalised divorce comes just a day after a close friend revealed that Furness, despite receiving multiple offers from eligible bachelors, is in no rush to date again. "She is not jaded by men, but is taking the time to heal," the friend said. "She has turned down dates from some incredible guys. "She knows what she brings to the table. Once the dust settles on this divorce, she will be open to dating again.'
