One delighted shopper said: "Very sturdy and balanced well, they provide stickers the same pattern as the wood to put over the screw holes which makes it look way more expensive. The build I was a little nervous about doing alone but honestly it's hard to go wrong with and was quicker than I thought."
With another five-star reviewer adding on: "It's a lovely colour and easy to set up, managed to set up by myself with no problems."
However, a few shoppers lowered their rating due to the colour of the bookcase. One person wrote: "Very much darker than illustrated , dark grey. Otherwise it is a very good quality piece."
While another shopper said: "The colour isn't as it appears in the photo, it's much darker, I don't know why they are calling it pine. Had to return it."
Despite this, a top reviewer praised: "Good quality, solid wood, easy to assemble. Makes a great focal point as a bookshelf in my living room. The shade of wood is darker than pictured."
With a sixth customer gushing: The ladder bookcase is a very solid piece of furniture. It's of good quality and has 5 very spacious shelves. It's not as bulky as others I'd seen and fits perfectly in my small dining room. I'm very pleased with my purchase, especially as it was on sale in January."
