Nothing Phone 3 Battery And Charging Details Leaked: What You Can Expect
Last Updated: Nothing Phone 3 launch is getting closer and the leaks are making it easy to see what the new flagship device will offer. Nothing Phone 3 details are getting clear as day with every leak and with the official launch next week, we have more specs revealed through various sources. Earlier this week, we talked about the rumoured Phone 3 specs which includes the display size, camera setup and the battery size. But now we have more certifications that share accurate details about the new Nothing flagship phone. The FCC filing has been mentioned in this report, which has details about the Nothing Phone 3 specs like battery, its charging speed and even the model number which the company has revealed itself. The Phone 3 is said to pack a 5,150mAh battery which is just marginally bigger than what you get with the Phone 3a series and even just 300mAh bigger than the Phone 2 model from the company. Going by these numbers, it feels like Nothing is unlikely to adopt the silicon carbide tech for its battery, something that would have made it possible to fit a 6,000mAh unit like the OnePlus 13, in a sleek body. The display is being tipped to be flat like most of the phones launched in 2025. The leak via Gadget Bits earlier claims the new model will get a 6.7-inch OLED LTPO display with 1.5K resolution. He also says the Phone 3 will offer a triple camera system that includes a trio of 50MP wide, 3x periscope telephoto and an ultra-wide lens. The previous battery details from the tipster suggested Nothing could support 100W charging speed but that seems unlikely with the latest updates. Nothing CEO Carl Pei has hinted at a starting price of EUR 800 for the Phone 3 but that does not mean we will see the device launch at the said range. In fact, using the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset means the company will have to realign their strategy, especially in markets like India, where you have the Poco F7 and the iQOO Neo 10 available for under Rs 35K with the same hardware. Nothing Phone 3 specs leak claims 3 key upgrades are coming — what we know
The Nothing Phone 3 is claimed to be the company's first true flagship phone. However, the truth of that claim depends entirely on the device's specifications. Thankfully, a recent leak on X by relatively unknown leaker Gadget Bits (via Android Authority) has given us an idea of the possible specs. According to their post, the Nothing Phone 3 will feature a 6.7-inch LTPO display with a 1.5k resolution. While this might be the same size as the current Nothing Phone 2's 1080p OLED display, the new display should offer more detail better power efficiency thanks to an LTPO display's ability to use variable refresh rates. Alongside the screen, the leak states that the Nothing Phone 3 will be coming with a 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope camera with 3x zoom, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP front camera. The Nothing Phone 2, in comparison, features a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide and a 32MP main camera, with no telephoto camera at all. The rumored camera loadout for the Phone 3 is closer to the cameras we saw on the Nothing Phone 3a Pro, although that phone's ultrawide camera was only 8MP. 🚨 ExclusiveNothing Phone (3)- 6.7" 1.5k OLED LTPO display- 50mp + 50mp 3x periscope + 50mp UW- 50mp front- 5150mAh battery (typ) + 100W charging- Wireless + reverse wireless charging- NFC, eSIM- Nothing OS 3.5 on Android 15- Snapdragon 8s Gen 4Launching on July 1st 21, 2025 The next thing to take note of is that the phone will supposedly feature a 5,150 mAh battery, which is larger than any of the other phones in Nothing's roster. This larger battery, when combined with the power-saving screen, could help the Nothing Phone 3 find a place on our best phone battery life list. On top of that, the leaks state that the Nothing Phone 3 will feature 100W charging, which is a marked improvement from the 45W seen on the Nothing Phone 2, and the 50W featured on the newer Nothing Phone 3a. While some might have hoped that Nothing would include the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Nothing Co-founder Carl Pei recently confirmed in a YouTube video that the phone will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. While we haven't had a chance to test a phone with this chip, Pei indicated that the Nothing Phone 3 will be faster and offer better performance than the Nothing Phone 2 and its Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. We also have a good idea of what the phone is going to cost users in the U.S., thanks to a recent leak on Bluesky. When Nothing first teased the device during Google I/O, it was stated that the phone would cost £800 in the U.K. The leak states that the phone will cost $799 for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the 16GB/512GB configuration will cost around $899. The Nothing Phone 3 is looking to be a marked improvement over the current models, at least if this leak is accurate. However, it's always worth taking anything like this with some healthy scepticism, especially if it's from a relatively unknown source. Detailed Nothing Phone (3) specs leak, big upgrades incoming
As the Nothing Phone (3) launch approaches, which is scheduled for July 1, the leaks have started popping up online. Aside from a couple of teaser posts from Nothing revealing that a new LED effect is replacing the Glyph, we have had nothing substantial up until now. According to a Gadget Bits post on X, the Nothing Phone (3) will offer a generous upgrade in many ways, despite the non-flagship Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. 🚨 ExclusiveNothing Phone (3)- 6.7" 1.5k OLED LTPO display- 50mp + 50mp 3x periscope + 50mp UW- 50mp front- 5150mAh battery (typ) + 100W charging- Wireless + reverse wireless charging- NFC, eSIM- Nothing OS 3.5 on Android 15- Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Launching on July 1st — Gadget Bits (@gadget_bits) June 21, 2025 The display will likely remain the same, for all intents and purposes, having a 6.7-inch diagonal with an LTPO OLED panel. The camera system gets a 50MP 3x zoom periscope camera in addition to the previous 50MP main and 50MP ultrawide shooters. The front-facing camera also gets an upgrade from 32MP to 50MP. We hope it has autofocus this time around. The battery will be bumped up to 5,150 mAh, which is a healthy upgrade over the 4,700 mAh cell from before, but arguably the biggest upgrade in this department is the charging rate. The new Phone (3) will support 100W fast wired charging. The wireless charging capabilities remain. Some potential buyers will welcome the added eSIM support, which was a big omission on the older model. The leak comes with a blurred image of the back design, giving us a hint of the camera design. There's roughly a week before Nothing's flagship launches, so until then, this will have to do.
