GMA Gala 2025 venue gets final touches; more stars share preparation details
Final preparations are now in full swing for the GMA Gala 2025 venue! According to Nelson Canlas' report in '24 Oras" Friday, award-winning events designer Gideon Hermosa designed the venue and the red carpet, which will feature a background of earth tones and silver to provide a striking contrast to the gala's main color theme of dark hues. Prime directors are overseeing the visuals, with 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre' overall visual director Rico Gutierrez in charge of the red carpet special program and "Stars on the Floor" director Paolo Valenciano directing the grand ballroom program. The event will also mark the first public screening of the Kapuso network's 75th-year station ID. The gala's program will likewise include performances from the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and the Madrigal Singers. 'We promise that it will be an elevated gala. Kakaiba 'yung ipapakita nating mga presentations during the gala, and since this is the 75th year, nagle-level up tayo for this very, very important celebration,' GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes said. Over 1,000 guests, including GMA officers, celebrities, partners, and VIPs are expected to attend the grand celebration. Allen Ansay surprises Sofia Pablo with a GMA Gala 2025 date proposal
Allen Ansay asked Sofia Pablo to be his GMA Gala date by delivering a pizza with "one big question" written on the box. On Instagram, the Kapuso loveteam shared their POVs during Allen's date proposal to Sofia. In the pizza box, Allen wrote, "One pizza. One big question. GMA Gala date?" To which Sofia responded with a yes. "So, someone delivered pizza today, but plot twist: it came with an extra cheesy question," Sofia said in the caption. "Of course I said yes." GMA Kapuso Foundation brings aid to typhoon, flood victims in Pampanga, Zambales, more
The GMA Kapuso Foundation continued to bring relief assistance to thousands of families in different parts of the country who have been affected by the back-to-back typhoons and tropical storms recently. According to "24 Oras" on Friday, the Kapuso Foundation and the 701st Brigade of the Philippine Army brought relief goods and soap to over 1,800 families in Macabebe, Pampanga, with the Office of Civil Defense lending a truck to the team for the mercy mission. "Kung magtutuloy-tuloy po 'yung ganitong sama ng panahon at ang taas ng high tide, tingin po namin magtatagal pa," said Kenneth Chase Balingit of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Macabebe, Pampanga. The GMA Kapuso Foundation and the 11th Civil-Military Operations Battalion of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment also made their way to Santa Cruz, Zambales, to bring aid to a total of 500 families who had to evacuate due to the heavy rains. Relief goods and warm porridge were also provided to farmers in Benguet who lost their crops and were affected by the landslides. On Friday morning, GMA Kapuso Foundation brought more relief assistance to a total of 1,500 families in North and East Fairview in Quezon City, as well as 1,000 families in Dinalupihan and Hermosa, Bataan. Relief operations for calamity victims will continue in Central Luzon, with plans to also bring aid to Pangasinan, La Union, and other parts of Pampanga and Bulacan. Previously, the GMA Kapuso Foundation also brought aid to residents in Rizal, Bulacan, Valenzuela City, and Quezon City. Emong, which has weakened into a tropical storm on Friday, continues to move away from Batanes, according to state weather bureau PAGASA in its 7 p.m. bulletin. Signal No. 1 remains hoisted over three areas, namely Batanes, babuyan Islands, and the northeastern portion of mainland Cagayan (Santa Ana).
