Allen Ansay surprises Sofia Pablo with a GMA Gala 2025 date proposal
On Instagram, the Kapuso loveteam shared their POVs during Allen's date proposal to Sofia.
In the pizza box, Allen wrote, "One pizza. One big question. GMA Gala date?" To which Sofia responded with a yes.
"So, someone delivered pizza today, but plot twist: it came with an extra cheesy question," Sofia said in the caption. "Of course I said yes."
The GMA Gala 2025, part of the celebration of GMA Network's 75th anniversary this year, will be held on August 2.
At the pre-GMA Gala 2025 event held in late July, Kapuso executives and stars gathered and donated P2.5 million to the GMA Kapuso Foundation, which will benefit the victims of Tropical Cyclones Crising, Dante, Emong and the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
Sofia and Allen, also known as Team Jolly of AlFia, previously starred together in "Prinsesa ng City Jail," "Sparkle U: #Ghosted," "In My Dreams," and "Luv Is: Caught In His Arms."

Alden Richards says entering flight school not his dream alone: 'Meron akong core objective to fulfill my parents' dreams'
Alden Richards is one step closer to becoming a pilot as he marked his first day in flight school — a dream that isn't just his alone, but also his father's. According to Nelson Canlas' report in "24 Oras" Wednesday, the Asia's Multimedia Star attended his flight school's induction ceremony today with his family. "I've always been so curious paano lumilipad ng ganung kalaki at kabigat na sasakyang panghimpapawid tapos of course how it's being navigated sa langit from point a to point b. Paano nakakarating, paano nag-t-take off," he said. According to Alden, he has always been compelled to pursue the dreams of his parents that they weren't able to fulfill. "Since nagkaroon ako ng isip sa mundo parang meron akong core objective to fulfill my parents' dreams na hindi nila natupad in their lifetime," he shared. "And surprisingly, kagaya ng showbiz para sa nanay ko, for me, ito naman dream ni dad for himself and eventually nagustuhan ko na rin." Despite his showbiz commitments, the Kapuso actor is determined to stay the course. "There's no such thing as a busy schedule when you make time and you have time management. Time management is the key. Definitely, this year for ground school, and then tuloy-tuloy na 'to. This will be a two year course and after I graduate, I'm gonna be able to fly a commercial plane," he added. Earlier, Alden shared photos of himself with his family to mark his first day in flight school. "Day 1 starts today..." he wrote on Instagram. Back in April, Alden posted about his visit to a flight school in Clark, Pampanga. In a 2023 interview, Alden had mentioned that he initially wanted to be a pilot, but gave up on it because flight school is expensive. Recently, Alden, along with Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera, joined the relief operations for those affected by the recent typhoons in Bulacan and Quezon City. He is also gearing up for the GMA Gala 2025 on Saturday, which is expected to be a big event as GMA Network marked its 75th anniversary this year. GMA Gala 2025 is just around the corner! On social media, Sparkle GMA Artist Center shared a clip of a teaser video for the upcoming GMA Gala featured in an LED billboard along EDSA-Guadalupe. "WE'RE OUT HERE LIGHTIN' UP EDSA LIKE IT'S OUR OWN RED CARPET!" Sparkle wrote in the caption. The teaser showcased the glamorous attendees of GMA Gala 2024, including Kapuso Royal Couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, Heart Evangelista, Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Bianca Umali, Ruru Madrid, and many more. Alden Richards is now on his way to becoming a pilot!
