Now, the publication reports that the former couple have divided up their properties once again, amid her new romance. They sold the first home they bought in January 2020 for half a million pounds, despite the fact it was listed at nearly £900,000. It is described as a 'link detached house' with four bedrooms that was given a modern makeover by the pair. This was after the duo moved into the period house, which reported to have been sold, subject to contract. Other features include a modern open-plan kitchen and living room that contain exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. The devastating blow came just months after the couple had lovingly created their dream home - turning two adjacent houses into a sprawling eight bedroom property. Within weeks of the split, the lavish home set in two acres was put on the market for £1.8 million - with Helen hoping to make a cool £500,000 from the sale. Now it appears the couple had a change of heart and divided up the properties once again, as Helen's rumoured romance with BBC Morning Live co-star Gethin Jones hots up. The Welshman has been a regular face on our tellies for decades, however in his spare time he has a different love. Gethin hasn't been afraid to share his passion for physical activities, whether that is Welsh rugby, his football team Everton or his involvement with the Olympics. Now, he has a new exciting sporting opportunity coming his way, this time with the 2026 Commonwealth Games which will take place in Glasgow. They are scheduled to take place next year, from July to August which will mark the second time Glasgow has hosted the prestigious event. Gethin shared on social media an exciting announcement, that he will be working with Team Wales in an important leadership position during the games. He said: "I am beyond proud to share that I have been appointed 'Chef de Mission' for @team_wales for @glasgow_2026. Mae'n anrhydedd enfawr. And no.. I won't be the designated team cook! "Chef de Mission is a French term meaning 'Head of Mission', and in a sporting context is responsible for leading, supporting and representing the national team at a major multi-sport event, such as the Commonwealth Games." Article continues below Back in 2018, Gethin had travelled to the Gold Coast Games as Team Wales' Attaché, which he described as one of the best experiences of his career. This inspired him to return to university to study High Performance, Governance, Leadership and Culture. He's worked with organisations like the NFL, WRU, the Rugby League World Cup, London 2012 and Rio 2016 which has given him the experience that his led him to this role. Gethin continued: "As Chef de Mission for #TimCymru, I will be the spokesperson for the team, representing and supporting the athletes and sports as we prepare for and compete in Glasgow 2026.
