ITV's Grantchester confirmed to be ending after 11th series
Grantchester, which follows a clergyman who helps investigate crimes in a small village, will end after its 11th series. Filming for the final season will begin this month, with Rishi Nair reprising the role of vicar Alphy Kottaram alongside Detective Inspector Geordie Keating, played by Robson Green. Both Nair and Green have said it was "an honour" to star in the beloved show. In the final series, Alphy will learn more about his past and will continue to get to know the bishop's daughter, Meg. Elsewhere, the chief superintendent comes to Geordie with a tempting offer that could also mean an end to his crime-solving partnership with Alphy. The show is adapted from the Grantchester Mysteries novels by James Runcie and was developed for TV by Coulman.
