Katy Perry's Dating History — Who Has Katy Perry Dated?
Katy Perry is single following her breakup with professional elf actor Orlando Bloom, so now seems like as good a time as any to brush off her dating history. Which, honestly? Is absolutely stacked with famous people—including some complete randoms (Diplo) who we fully forgot about. Katy and late actor Johnny Lewis dated for about a year in the early aughts. It was before Katy was ultra-ultra famous so their relationship wasn't extensively reported on! Katy and the Gym Class Heroes frontman dated for less than a year, and apparently Katy broke things off via email. At least according to Travie, who said, "It started off with 'I love you so much I hate to do that you are ready to spend the rest of your life with sends you a fucking email just shitting on your whole parade. It destroyed me." These two had a brief fling in 2009, and it made enough of an impression that Katy wrote "The One That Got Away" about Josh. He was asked about inspiring the song by Andy Cohen, and replied "We did [date]. We were both very private, and so we realized we were better as friends. And we've been very, very good friends to this day. She's the best. But, I was not expecting that. That was a double take and a spit out my coffee when I saw that." Katy and Russell met at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, married in 2010, and then divorced 14 months later. Katy opened up about their split to Vogue, saying "At first when I met him, he wanted an equal, and I think a lot of times strong men do want an equal, but then they get that equal and they're like, I can't handle the equalness. He didn't like the atmosphere of me being the boss on tour. So that was really hurtful, and it was very controlling, which was upsetting. Let's just say I haven't heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011." Russell has since been charged with rape and sexual assault in the UK, which he has denied. Katy seems to have briefly dated the Florence and the Machine guitarist? By which I mean E! News reported that they were seen holding hands at Coachella, where Katy reportedly referred to him as her "boyfriend." Their relationship was extremely on-again off-again, but it all started over dinner at Chateau Marmont in August 2012. Then it briefly ended in April 2013, when a source told E! News "John still very much loves [Katy] and has feelings for her. It was just going to be too much with what was on his plate." They were back together by June, there were engagement rumors by November, and they were officially done in February 2014. John's since confirmed that his song "Still Feel Like Your Man" is about Katy, telling the New York Times, "Who else would I be thinking about? And by the way, it's a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years. That was my only relationship. So it's like, give me this, people." Katy and Diplo were linked in April 2014, when they showed up at Coachella together. The relationship didn't last, and Katy ranked Diplo third on her list of ex-lovers (after John Mayer and Orlando Bloom). He responded by tweeting "I don't even remember having sex." As we know from Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet's makeout session, the Golden Globes is one of the horniest events in Hollywood. And it's where Katy and Orlando hit it off! They started dating mere weeks after the above photo was taken, and were going strong for almost a year before breaking things off in February of 2017. Their rep even released a statement to People, saying, "Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time." Meanwhile, Katy tweeted this: The pair were back together by 2018, and even went "Visit to the Pope Official": They then got engaged in 2019, and welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove a couple years later in 2020! Katy and Orlando then spent five years chilling in Montecito together, but everything changed in 2025 and they ended up parting ways. TBD on what went wrong, but according to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Orlando wasn't here for Katy's brief trip to space. "He told her the whole thing looked ridiculous," the insider said. "He said it was cringeworthy. Embarrassing. This was in the middle of a fight, and it hurt her feelings. Of course she was hurt. Spiedie Fest announces 2025 concert lineup; Trace Adkins to headline
TOWN OF DICKINSON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The entire Greater Binghamton community has been waiting for this. Spiedie Fest has announced the 2025 concert lineup. The announcement came on Tuesday, May 13, after being delayed by a week due to coordination with each act's management team. Friday, August 1, kicks off with free admission to the festival for all who wish to attend, including the concert featuring tribute bands to Fleetwood Mac in 'Gold Dust Woman,' and Led Zeppelin in 'Zeppelin Thing.' Saturday, August 2, will be headlined by Gym Class Heroes fronted by Travie McCoy. The band is known for its hit song 'Stereo Hearts,' and McCoy is known for the hit song 'Billionaire' with Bruno Mars. The series will conclude on Sunday, August 3, with Trace Adkins bringing his 'What Color Is Your Wild Tour' to Spiedie Fest. Adkins, a country music icon, sold over 11 million albums, charted 40 singles on Billboard's Country Airplay Chart, earned numerous awards, multiple GRAMMY nominations, and over 2 billion streams. 'For our 41st year, we worked hard to bring in a legendary country act, along with a unique alternative-funk-rap band, and free tributes to classic rock,' Event Director Dave Pessagno said in the announcement. 'This year's Spiedie Fest truly has something for everyone, with the most affordable concert prices anywhere in the country.' 'POTUS' is also the title of the play continuing performances through this weekend at Towle Theater, 5205 Hohman Ave. in Hammond. The secondary title for this stage comedy written by Selina Fillinger and directed by Anna Maria D'Ortenzio is 'Behind Every Great Dumb*** Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive.' When the president unwittingly spins a PR nightmare into a global crisis, the seven brilliant and beleaguered women he relies upon most risk life, liberty and the pursuit of sanity to keep the commander-in-chief out of trouble. The play is described as 'a bawdy and irreverent look at sex, politics and the women in charge of the man in charge of the free world, with a reminder that global crisis is always just a four-letter word away.' Fridays on the Plaza is throwing it back with summer 2025 lineup
CHEYENNE – This year marks 20 years of Fridays on the Plaza, and they're taking Cheyenne on a "journey through time." The event, which is put on by Cheyenne Presents, is Wyoming's largest outdoor summer music festival, bringing free live entertainment to downtown Cheyenne every Friday in the summer. This year, the lineup features 23 artists spanning decades and genres, with highlights that include Grammy-nominated and award-winning performers, artists with multiple gold and platinum records, and musicians boasting over 10 million monthly Spotify listeners and more than a billion views on YouTube, according to a press release from Cheyenne Presents. The artists chosen this summer have also shared stages with legends like Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Linkin Park, Nelly, Incubus and more. "Cheyenne Presents returns with a season that's bold, nostalgic and unlike anything the community has experienced before," according to the press release. "So grab your favorite throwback tee, rally your crew, and get ready to relive the moments, music and memories that made us." Each week will have a headliner and an opener, with the opener beginning at 6 p.m., and the headliner starting at 7:30. Friday morning, city officials dropped the Fridays on the Plaza lineup on their social media pages with a video captioned, "Here's to 20 years, friends ..." The band kicking off Fridays on the Plaza is Gym Class Heroes on June 6. Gym Class Heroes is best known for "Stereo Hearts," featuring Adam Levine, "Cupid's Chokehold/Breakfast in America" and "The Fighter," featuring Ryan Tedder. The opener for June 6 is It Gets Worse, one of the five bands that performed at Fridays Sound Surge on April 17. Fridays Sound Surge was a collaboration between Black Tooth Brewery and Cheyenne Presents to give exposure to local artists, and give them a chance to show off their talents on the Fridays stage this summer. It Gets Worse is a ska/punk rock band with members from Cheyenne and Fort Collins, Colorado. The other performers and winners of Fridays Sound Surge were rock band Year of the Pig, country artist Jared Strayer, reggae band Gene Clemetson & the Mashup and hip-hop artist Winct. The second weekend will have headliner Those Crazy Nights: Journey Tribute Band, and the opener will be Year of the Pig on June 13. The next headliner will be Chingy on June 20. Chingy is a hip-hop artist with hits from the early 2000s like "Right Thurr" and "Pullin' Me Back." The opener will be Fridays Sound Surge fan-favorite Winct, along with Beige Boy. For the last Friday in June, the headliner is Midnight Star on June 27. Midnight Star is a band from the '80s with a synth-funk and R&B sound. Their most well-known hits are "Freak-a-Zoid" and "Midas Touch." The opener will be DJ Sammy G. Skipping July 4 and moving to July 11, the month will kick off with Boys Like Girls, a rock band from the mid-2000s with hits like "The Great Escape" and "Two Is Better Than One" featuring Taylor Swift. The opener will be Public Figure. On July 18, the headliner is Digital Underground, a hip-hop/rap group from the '90s and early-2000s known for "The Humpty Dance," and the opener is Real Deal Music. July also marks Cheyenne Frontier Days, which means that Fridays on the Plaza will be offering even more local music with Fridays Extended. This concert will be in the middle of the week during CFD, on July 23, on top of their Friday show. This year, soul band The Burroughs will headline with Third Rail. Third Rail headlined last year for Fridays Extended. The headliner for July 25 will be rock band Hoobastank, best known for "The Reason" and "Crawling in the Dark," both from 2003. Opener for this day is Shotgun Opera: A Tribute to alternative rock band Linkin Park. Kicking off August on the first of the month is the Takes, a folk rock group from Portland, Oregon, that began making music together in 2021. Jared Strayer will open for them. On Aug. 8, the headliner is the Expendables. They're a band that dabbles in reggae rock, ska and surf rock, and have been making music since 1997. To match their sound, Fridays on the Plaza paired them with Gene Clemetson & the Mashup. The final headliner of the summer is the Wallflowers, a rock solo project spearheaded by Bob Dylan's son, Jakob Dylan. The final opener for the Aug. 15 show is Aaron Lee Tasjan.
