Prison officer who had sex with armed robber in cell reveals what she'll do next

An ex-prison officer who was jailed for having sex with an inmate will never go back to OnlyFans and wants to change her life, her partner has revealed. Linda de Sousa Abreu, 31, was filmed having sex with armed robber Linton Weirich while ignoring messages on her radio at Wandsworth jail in south west London last summer. She has since been released from prison early after serving just five months of a 15-month stretch for misconduct in a public office. Her OnlyFans page, which was set up before she became a prison guard, has since been removed and her partner said she has no plans to return to the website. It will come as bad news to the thousands of people who subscribed to her profile, which is believed to have made her a five-figure sum annually. Her partner, who did not want to be named, said she has not yet decided what she's going to do with her life now she's served her sentence. Speaking from the couple's flat in Fulham, west London, he said: 'She's fine, she's just not allowed to talk. She'd be in a lot of trouble and could be sent back to prison if she did. 'She wants to stay out of trouble. She's well. She has no plans now. 'She will not return to Only Fans. I don't know if she will do any charity work.' The man said she knew her career as a prison officer was now over and said she was apologetic over the incident. 'She can't go back to being a prison officer. She does not want to go on Love Island,' he said. 'She's very sorry for what happened.' Neighbours in the estate in Fulham, where property prices are around £400,000, were sympathetic towards the mum-of-one. One neighbour said: 'I just wish her the best. She obviously made a terrible mistake which she has paid for. 'I could not think of anything worse than being a prison officer, it's not a job I could do.' After her arrest, de Sousa Abreu posted a video on Instagram saying she had closed all of her other social media accounts. She also rebuked Only Fans creators who had uploaded videos recreating the viral clip and people who had set up fake profiles of her. She said: 'It's a scandal that the entire world seems to have been involved in. I have not monetised this one bit. This is my only social media platform. 'Please refrain from tagging HMP Wandsworth on your stupid videos. There are other jails in the world.' Last week she was pictured for the first time since being released from prison. She was seen enjoying the sun in shorts, a sports bra and a bandana, with a new tattoo that read 'Amor', which is Spanish for 'love.' De Sousa Abreu rose to fame last year after the explicit video was posted on social media. The clip showed her having sex with the inmate in a cell while wearing her prison uniform. More Trending In the video, a prisoner also in the cell is heard saying: 'This is how we live at Wandsworth.' The jail was later criticised by inspectors for 'systemic and cultural failures that stemmed from poor leadership'. Last month, the prisons watchdog published a new inspection report, dated from 31 March to 2 April this year. It found that although the prison still had 'a long way to go', it had seen improvements, including 'a revived sense of purpose at the jail.' Lucy Letby's life behind bars revealed – from £33-a-week to spend on chocolate & TWICE as many visits as other prisoners

The former nurse can also receive twice as many visits as other prisoners, after being fast-tracked from standard status. She is now imprisoned in unit four of the only purpose-built private prison in the UK - HMP Bronzefield. Now an enhanced prisoner, Letby is given £33 a week to spend in the prison canteen where regular prisoners are only given £19.80. Some prisoners are bumped down to basic status as a punishment, which gives them only £5.50 per week. All prisoners are given status reviews every 28 days, but Letby has retained her enhanced position throughout her time at HMP Bronzefiled. A source told the MailOnline that the killer nurse was upgraded because of fears that she may be attacked by other inmates. The source said: 'Lucy is reserved and very quiet, she isn't really a problem with staff. 'It grates with officers though - she's committed the worst crimes possible and here she is on the enhanced unit with all the benefits that come with it. 'Again the real reason she is here is safety, she would be attacked on any other unit.' Letby reportedly has shared a cell with a former prison officer who was jailed after having sex with an inmate. I defend baby killers like Lucy Letby – bombshell new theory could FREE her but I know real truth… & it's NOT medical Linda De Sousa Abreu, Letby's cell mate, was fast-tracked to privileged status for her own protection since she is a former guard. Abreu worked at the famous prison HMP Wandsworth in London. Letby has been in police custody since November 2020 and was handed a 'whole life order' in August 2023. The inmate is the fourth woman in British history to be given no hope for parole after committing her string of chilling murders. Letby has been found to have targeted 17 babies whilst at large between June 2015 and June 2016. Her first confirmed victim was a boy born in June 2015, who, despite being born prematurely, was described as being "stable". Letby came on shift at 7.30pm that same day and, by 8.26pm, the boy's condition was "deteriorating rapidly". He died twenty minutes later after air was deliberately injected into his bloodstream. That boy's twin sister became ill just 28 hours later after "purple blotches" broke out across her body - symptoms shared with her brother. Thankfully, that baby survived. 5 Some have cast doubt on Lucy Letby's conviction Credit: Reuters However, another two babies died under the nurse's care that same month - one of which ingested air and the other being killed when air was injected into her bloodstream. More babies - including one in on 4 August and another on October 23 - died from incidents involving air while at Letby's hospital. Finally, Letby was found to have killed two more babies on June 23 and 24 2016. The killer nurse was arrested on July 3, 2018, and faced a three-year court battle before finally being jailed for life. She had been working at the Countess of Chester Hospital while at large. Despite her conviction, Letby insists that she is innocent and several high profile politicians have called for her case to be re-examined. Former health secretary Jeremy Hunt said that, although the victim's family must be at the 'forefront' of politician's minds, there is 'doubt on what actually happened'. He added: 'They are not conspiracy theories dredged up from far-flung reaches of the internet.' The former health secretary and Tory chancellor said that 14 paediatric specialists ruled that the deaths of the babies had been down to natural causes.

Lucy Letby given 'prison privileges' including cash for sweets and double visits

Lucy Letby is believed to have been swiftly fast-tracked to enhanced prisoner status just days after being locked up at HMP Bronzefield - allowing her extra privileges Lucy Letby was reportedly granted enhanced prisoner status just days into her sentence at HMP Bronzefield, giving her extra privileges like more cash for sweets and chocolate - as well as extra time outside her cell. The former neonatal nurse, convicted of killing seven babies and attempting to murder seven more, was moved straight from her induction to Unit Four - a wing reserved exclusively for enhanced inmates, according to a prison source. No matter the crime, all prisoners are automatically given standard status after sentencing, but Letby is believed to have been swiftly fast-tracked. Her privileged status also means she now has a cleaning job and is entitled to a weekly visit - double the allowance for regular prisoners. ‌ ‌ Roughly a quarter of inmates at Bronzefield are classified as enhanced. Letby shared the unit with former prison officer Linda De Sousa Abreu, 31, who was jailed after being caught on camera having sex with a prisoner, MailOnline reports. She too was fast-tracked to Unit Four - reportedly for her own protection after serving as a guard at HMP Wandsworth. Enhanced prisoners are allowed to spend £33 a week in the prison canteen. Standard-status inmates get £19.80, while those on "basic" punishment status receive just £5.50. A 2023 menu from HMP Chelmsford shows some of what's on offer: Kinder Bueno bars for 60p, Snickers for 80p, and Pepsi cans for 59p. Letby's status is meant to be reviewed every 28 days, but the source claims she's remained enhanced since arrival - and that the real reason she'd been upgraded is because she wouldn't be safe from other prisoners anywhere else in the jail. "Lucy is reserved and very quiet, she isn't really a problem with staff," they said. "It grates with officers though - she's committed the worst crimes possible and here she is on the enhanced unit with all the benefits that come with it. Again the real reason she is here is safety, she would be attacked on any other unit." Letby, 35, is one of just four female prisoners in the UK to be handed a "whole life order", which she received in August 2023. It came after her conviction for murdering babies at the Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016. As she continues to maintain her innocence, her case has drawn the attention of high-profile figures - including former health secretary Jeremy Hunt, who has called for it be reviewed. In the wake of her sentencing, the Thirlwall inquiry was also set up to investigate how the crimes were allowed to happen. Hunt said the most disturbing evidence came from 14 paediatric specialists who ruled the deaths or injuries of the newborns happened as a result of natural causes or errors in medical care. "It pains me to say it - this analysis raises serious and credible questions about the evidence presented in court," he said.

‘Hitman' accused of murdering gang kingpins Ross Monaghan & Eddie Lyons Junior in Spain will fight extradition

Michael Riley, 44, of Merseyside, appeared today at Westminster Magistrates Court as part of a bid to have him shipped to Spain Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN ALLEGED hitman nicked over the murders of two Scots gangsters is to fight extradition - as he claimed he was being intimidated by onlookers in court. Michael Riley, 44, of Huyton, Liverpool, appeared today at Westminster Magistrates Court as part of a bid to have him shipped to Spain. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Eddie Lyons Jnr, left, and Ross Monaghan were shot dead in Spain on May 31 Cops there issued an international arrest warrant in connection with their probe into the May 31 murders of Ross Monaghan, 43, and Eddie Lyons Jnr, 46. Riley was apprehended by Merseyside police on June 13 under an international arrest warrant issued by the Spanish authorities last week. Riley was remanded in custody by magistrates on Saturday after he was deemed a flight risk. He appeared at the London court via videolink from HMP Wandsworth yesterday but due to technical difficulties the hearing could not go ahead effectively. He appeared in person wearing a grey, prison-issued tracksuit and spoke to confirm his name and date of birth. Riley was asked today by the court clerk if he wished to give consent to be extradited back to Spain, to which he said: 'No, I do not.' Riley's extradition hearing will be on October 9 at Westminster Magistrates court and is expected to last all day. Judge John Bristow said: 'As you know, Mr Riley, your extradition is sought by Spain, you have not consented to your extradition, so there is going to be a hearing on October 9. 'If you don't come to that hearing, it can proceed without you. That would mean you would not get the chance to tell your side of the story. 'You are not applying for bail today, so I am going to remand you in custody. 'Your next appearance will be on July 18, where on that occasion you will be on live television link.' Riley accused a member of the public in the public gallery of staring at him and making funny faces. He shouted: 'Stop looking at me' as he was led back to the cells. We told how the Lyons gang kingpins were drinking in Monaghans bar after watching the Champions League Cup final when they were gunned down. A hooded assassin was captured on CCTV storming the boozer and shooting both men dead in front of horrified holiday makers and staff. We told how cops in Spain and Scotland gave conflicting information over who is believed to have ordered the double assassination. Police Scotland first insisted three days after the slaughter they had 'no intelligence' to suggest the murders were connected to an ongoing turf war here. However, at a sensational press conference in Malaga their Spain counterparts said the man they want extradited over the killings was 'an internal member of the rival Daniel gang'. Malaga-based police chief Pedro Agudo Novo told reporters: "The double murder was carried out by a professional killer and member of one of the victims' rival gangs. "In this case we're not talking about an independently hired killer but an internal member of the rival Daniel gang who ends up assassinating two members of an enemy gang." That prompted the Scottish force to repeat their insistence there is no Daniel link to the slayings - a position also held by members of Monaghan's family. A relative of the murdered mob boss said earlier this month: 'The one thing people need to know is the Daniels are not behind this.' Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Houston said: "We are not aware of any current evidence which suggests the deaths of these two men in Spain are linked to criminal attacks in Scotland being investigated as part of Operation Portaledge.' We told how a captured mobile phone holds the key to proving the assassinations in Spain of two Scots crime kingpins are linked to their Daniel gang rivals, sources claim. Cops are understood to have seized the mobile from an alleged hitman suspected of shooting dead the duo. Insiders say it contains data allegedly linking Riley, 44, to Daniel hoods who Spanish detectives reckon are behind the double slaying. Career criminal Monaghan – who fled Scotland for Spain after a failed attempt on his life in 2017 – was tried but acquitted over the murder of notorious Glasgow hood Kevin 'Gerbil' Carroll at an Asda car park in 2010. In August 2017 he and Eddie Lyons Jr, both members of the Lyons Glasgow crime family, were cleared of being involved in a brutal street attack on three men outside the Campsie bar in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire. Their deaths come amid an ongoing turf war in Scotland that's resulted in 48 arrests as part of Police Scotland's Operation Portaledge. The gangland carnage in Edinburgh and Glasgow began in March amid claims Dubai-based hood Ross 'Miami' McGill, 31, of East Kilbride sought revenge after blaming associates of caged capital kingpin Mark Richardson, 38, for using fake notes in a dodgy £500,000 cocaine deal.
