BTS Star J-Hope's Killer Look Was The Highlight Of His Lollapalooza Berlin Show

Not just his fans, even his bandmates V and Jimin cheered for J-Hope as he performed at Lollapalooza Berlin.
BTS' Jung Hoseok, aka J-Hope, lit up the stage at Lollapalooza Berlin 2025 with his energetic performance, which fans are now calling unforgettable. Also called the 'Hobipalooza', the singer, rapper, and dancer headlined the music festival on Sunday, July 13, at the Olympiastadion. The BTS star, who is also lovingly known to fans as Hobi, turned the night into his own concert, enthralling a crowd of 60,000 with her electrifying performance.
J-Hope owned the stage for a total of 90 minutes, giving a high-energy performance on a setlist of 21 songs. From his solo hits like What if…, Pandora's Box, and Sweet Dreams, to BTS' chartbusters like Mic Drop, Dynamite and Butter, he had fans screaming his name as he performed, with some even cheering for him using BTS' official lightstick. At times, the cheers were so loud that Hobi's voice was not audible at all.

While J-Hope surely did amaze his fans with his stage presence and energetic performance, it was still not the most-talked-about part of the show. His now-iconic shirt, which ARMYs are calling the 'useless shirt', has become the highlight of his Lollapalooza performance. He wore a sheer, see-through shirt that quickly got soaked in sweat and did nothing to hide his toned physique. Soon, social media erupted with reactions, with one saying, 'What a useless shirt, what is your purpose in life? What do you want to be in 5 years? J-hope Hobipalooza Berlin 2025 useless shirt, killing it girl performance."

Not just his fans, but his bandmates, Kim Taehyung, aka V, and Jimin, also cheered for J-Hope. They tuned into his performance through the livestream on Weverse. Jimin, who is currently in the US with his fellow bandmates RM, Jungkook and Suga, even joined the playful 'Mianhae Eomma" chant with fans when J-Hope sang Mic Drop. Meanwhile, V watched his performance during a car ride. The livestream drew close to 15 million views. Moreover, the two even continued to cheer for J-Hope in the comments of the livestream.

At Lollapalooza, J-Hope also addressed his fans and expressed his gratitude. He said, 'I'm here in Berlin, after my first (Lollapalooza) in 2022. There were so many things I became grateful for during my tour. Thank you so much for being there with me all the way through. I love you all." Sharing his plans of working on music with BTS, as they are planning their comeback album, he added, 'After this, I'm going to start focusing on music for my team (BTS). I told the staff to just enjoy this, to put an amazing end. You've made it come true for me."
