BTS Star J-Hope's Killer Look Was The Highlight Of His Lollapalooza Berlin Show
Not just his fans, even his bandmates V and Jimin cheered for J-Hope as he performed at Lollapalooza Berlin.
BTS' Jung Hoseok, aka J-Hope, lit up the stage at Lollapalooza Berlin 2025 with his energetic performance, which fans are now calling unforgettable. Also called the 'Hobipalooza', the singer, rapper, and dancer headlined the music festival on Sunday, July 13, at the Olympiastadion. The BTS star, who is also lovingly known to fans as Hobi, turned the night into his own concert, enthralling a crowd of 60,000 with her electrifying performance.
J-Hope owned the stage for a total of 90 minutes, giving a high-energy performance on a setlist of 21 songs. From his solo hits like What if…, Pandora's Box, and Sweet Dreams, to BTS' chartbusters like Mic Drop, Dynamite and Butter, he had fans screaming his name as he performed, with some even cheering for him using BTS' official lightstick. At times, the cheers were so loud that Hobi's voice was not audible at all.

While J-Hope surely did amaze his fans with his stage presence and energetic performance, it was still not the most-talked-about part of the show. His now-iconic shirt, which ARMYs are calling the 'useless shirt', has become the highlight of his Lollapalooza performance. He wore a sheer, see-through shirt that quickly got soaked in sweat and did nothing to hide his toned physique. Soon, social media erupted with reactions, with one saying, 'What a useless shirt, what is your purpose in life? What do you want to be in 5 years? J-hope Hobipalooza Berlin 2025 useless shirt, killing it girl performance."

Jimin, who is currently in the US with his fellow bandmates RM, Jungkook and Suga, even joined the playful 'Mianhae Eomma" chant with fans when J-Hope sang Mic Drop. Meanwhile, V watched his performance during a car ride. The livestream drew close to 15 million views. Moreover, the two even continued to cheer for J-Hope in the comments of the livestream.

At Lollapalooza, J-Hope also addressed his fans and expressed his gratitude. He said, 'I'm here in Berlin, after my first (Lollapalooza) in 2022. There were so many things I became grateful for during my tour. Thank you so much for being there with me all the way through. I love you all." Sharing his plans of working on music with BTS, as they are planning their comeback album, he added, 'After this, I'm going to start focusing on music for my team (BTS). I told the staff to just enjoy this, to put an amazing end. You've made it come true for me."

V's Slow Dancing Gets a Venezuelan Makeover - When K-pop Meets Latin Soul
When Musical Worlds Collide in the Most Beautiful Way Picture this: you're scrolling through your feed when suddenly you stumble upon something that makes you do a double-take. That's exactly what happened when Venezuelan superband GUACO decided to give BTS member V's "Slow Dancing" their own Latin twist. And honestly? The result is pure magic. The legendary band, which has been making hearts skip beats since 1962, recently posted a cover video that has everyone talking. They didn't just cover V's track - they brilliantly wove it together with their own song "Quiereme Asi" (Love Me Like This), creating a fusion that sounds like it was meant to be. It's like when your favorite Bollywood melody gets a fresh remix, but somehow this feels even more special. The Band That's Been Setting Hearts on Fire for Decades GUACO isn't just any band - they're Venezuela's answer to what A.R. Rahman is to our music scene. Since their debut in 1962, they've been pioneers of tropical music, blending traditional Latin sounds with hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and pop. Think of them as the musical equivalent of fusion cuisine - taking the best of different worlds and creating something entirely new. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas For Sale in Dubai Might Surprise You Dubai villas | search ads Get Deals Undo What makes this crossover even more heartwarming is that band member Gustavo Aguado had been vibing to V's "Slow Dancing" way before this cover happened. He was spotted watching V's 2023 Mnet performance, absolutely mesmerized by the flute solo. His reaction? "Relax at home with this wonderful music" - basically the international equivalent of saying "this song hits different". From Seoul to Caracas - The Universal Language of Good Music "Slow Dancing" isn't just any track - it's the title song from V's debut solo album "Layover," which has been breaking stereotypes left, right, and center. In a K-pop scene often dominated by high-energy dance tracks (think of our own Bollywood dance numbers), V chose to go the artistic route rather than the commercial one. The album caught the attention of major music publications like Billboard, Rolling Stone, and NME, with TimeOut UK ranking "Layover" as the 19th best album of 2023 - the highest position for any K-pop album on their list. They described "Slow Dancing" as a "soulful track that flows beautifully with the song's choreography," which honestly sounds like something you'd say about a beautiful classical Indian dance performance.

BTS parent company HYBE rocked by insider scandal as 3 employees jailed for leaking enlistment news
The post-enlistment buzz around BTS has taken a serious turn and this time, it's not on stage, but in court. HYBE, the powerhouse behind the global supergroup, is facing internal tremors after three of its former and current employees were caught leaking confidential information tied to BTS's military enlistment. BTS members On Tuesday, the Seoul Southern District Court sentenced three individuals for insider trading, stating they had violated the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act. These employees reportedly used sensitive, non-public information about BTS's enlistment schedule to offload their HYBE shares — right before the company's stock tanked. The court revealed that HYBE announced on YouTube (June 14, 2022) that BTS would pause group activities due to Jin's enlistment. The next day, the company's stock plummeted nearly 25%. Kim, a 37-year-old employee at Source Music, received a 10-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, along with a hefty fine of ₩231 million ( ₹1.45 crore). Former BigHit employee Lee, 33, and a 41-year-old from Belift Lab, were also fined and given suspended sentences. The court didn't mince words: 'An artist's actions have a significant impact on revenue in an entertainment company, so whether they continue or suspend activities is a highly sensitive matter.' It further emphasised the damage, calling it 'a serious crime that compromises the fairness of the capital market'. In addition to the fines, the employees have also been ordered to repay the profits they gained or, more accurately, the losses they avoided. As for now, BTS is back in action, sort of. The members (excluding Jin, who's now on a solo world tour) are in Los Angeles for a creative boot camp, gearing up for a 2026 group album. Jungkook is reportedly plotting a solo tour and keeps ARMY entertained on live, while Hobi just wowed fans at Lollapalooza Berlin 2025.
