Egypt's Ambassador to Lebanon Offers Condolences to Fairouz on the Death Ziad Rahbani

Rana Atef On Tuesday, Egypt's Ambassador to Beirut, Alaa Moussa, offered his condolences to the legendary singer Fairouz following the death of her son. In response to the Egyptian ambassador's condolences, Fairouz softly replied, 'I love Egypt.' Fairouz sat silently with her daughter, Rima, beside her. Her face revealed the deep sorrow and pain of losing her son. Rima occasionally engaged her in hushed conversation. A large number of politicians, state dignitaries, and artists have been arriving at the mourning hall to pay their respects to Fairouz over the loss of her son, the composer and musician Ziad Rahbani. Latifa Releases Second Part of New Album "Albi Ertah"

Yara Sameh Tunisian superstar, Latifa has released the second part of her new album 'Albi Ertah'. The second patch of the album consists of "Tslamli," "Hawina Hawina," "Akhbarak Eh," "Qabl Ma Teb'ed," and "Kada Aliya El Haneen." It consists of 14 songs that will be released gradually on digital music platforms. "Albi Ertah" marks a new milestone in the making of music in the Arab world for it is the first work to be created entirely with Dolby Atmos, an advanced surround sound technology that gives listeners a three-dimensional audio experience. In a previous statement, Latifa described the album to be 'Completely different' from her previous work. "The album is completely different from all my previous work, whether in terms of arrangement, lyrics, or composition," Latifa said. "It contains new and innovative musical styles that keep pace with global musical developments,". "The songs range from joy and pain, nostalgia and sadness, to wounds—real emotions I experienced and touched throughout my artistic and humanitarian career," she added. Latifa released her latest album, 'Mafesh Mamnoo' in June 2024, which won the Album of the Year at the 2024 DIAFA Awards. The album consists of 10 songs and features Latifa cooperating with a large number of poets and composers, including Mahmoud Anwar, Omar El-Masry, Samer Abo Taleb, and Walid Saad. New Alamein Festival Announces 2025 Dates and Lineup

Yara Sameh The 3rd edition of the New Alamein Festival is set to take place from July 18 and August 29 in North Coast, Egypt. The annual event will run for six weeks in the U-Arena, a vibrant new venue located in the district of New Al-Alamein City designed to accommodate thousands of visitors of art and music lovers and serve as a hub for music and cultural events. The festival will feature a stellar lineup of top artists from Egypt and the Arab world, including Amr Diab, Angham, Assala Nasri, Tamer Hosny, Tamer Ashour, Cairokee, Marwan Pablo, Lege-Cy, Wegz, and others. Some of the artists are returning, having performed in the festival's second edition (2024), while others will perform in Al-Alamein for the first time. Founded in 2023, the New Alamein Festival is one of the largest entertainment events in Egypt and the Middle East. It brings together the best of art, sports, and entertainment, starting with concerts for local, Arab, and international artists in the biggest entertainment Arena in New Alamein to international shows and sporting events featuring international teams taking place on the beach area and Lagoon. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of exhibitions and food stalls. The New Alamein Festival targets boosting tourism and entertainment for tourists and Egyptians in this area to upgrade the city to be an international spot for tourism.
