The Nerazzurri kept hold of the Turkish international last summer in spite of strong interest from Bayern Munich. However, this time around, Istanbul giants Galatasaray are ready to try and make a move for Calhanoglu. It's not just Galatasaray who are keen on the former AC Milan midfielder, though. The newspaper report that the four biggest clubs in the Saudi Pro League are all keen on the 31-year-old. Advertisement These are Al-Hilal – the club who Simone Inzaghi left Inter to join for big money this summer – as well as Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli, and Al-Ittihad. According to La Repubblica, the offers for Hakan Calhanoglu from Saudi Arabia should come in next week.

However, the strong interest from Galatasaray means that the Nerazzurri are bracing themselves for the possibility of having to replace him. And Rovella is a player who would offer a strong like-for-like replacement. Therefore, he would be the priority target in the event that Calhanoglu departs.
