Anton Du Beke's wife's cryptic response hints at what Strictly star is really like

Antjson Du Beke's wife Hannah Summers has offered a rare insight into what the Strictly Come Dancing star is like away from the cameras and the glitz and glamour of the dance floor Anton Du Beke's wife, Hannah Summers, delivered a revealing nine-word reply when questioned about what her Strictly Come Dancing star husband is truly like behind the scenes of his glittering TV career. ‌ The Strictly judge, who marks his 59th birthday today, has been a constant fixture on our television screens since joining the programme's professional dance troupe back in 2004. ‌ Following 16 years of competing for the coveted glitterball trophy on the BBC programme, he made the transition from the dance floor to the judging panel in 2020, where he continues to preside. ‌ Beyond his Strictly commitments, Anton discovered romance in 2011 when he first encountered Hannah Summers at Surrey's Wentworth Golf Club. Their fateful meeting occurred whilst he was indulging in a few rounds of golf - one of his cherished pastimes outside the ballroom, reports Wales Online. ‌ Several years down the line, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony and welcomed twins George and Henrietta on March 30, 2017. During a recent chat with The Telegraph, Anton appeared keen to avoid sounding conceited when posed the question: "What is your best personality trait?" He responded: "This isn't a question for me, this is a question for someone else! I don't know - probably should ask my wife. Can I call my wife?". ‌ Upon taking her husband's call, she offered a rather enigmatic answer: "Everybody always asks me, 'Is he really like that in real life?'" (Emphasis on that. ) "Yes, he is... But it's for you to decide what the 'that' is!" Now blissfully wed and bringing up their two little ones at their Buckinghamshire residence, Anton has candidly discussed the challenges his wife faced when trying to conceive, owing to her endometriosis. ‌ During a touching reflection on their IVF experience on Giovanna Fletcher's Happy mum Happy Baby podcast, Anton shared with the presenter: "Then we went through the process of IVF - well, crying out loud. You girls are extraordinary." He went on to explain: "As much as I want to get involved, all I can do is hold your hand. It makes me emotional every time I talk about it. The injections, the stress, the anxiety. I have anxiety and stress, but it's not my body." Beyond his domestic life, Anton has graced numerous television programmes through the years, such as Kate Garraway's Life Stories, Countdown, The Weakest Link, and Would I Lie To You? He's also taken part in several pantomimes in recent times.

Reason Peter Andre 'banned' wife Emily from his bedroom for a year

Emily MacDonagh has opened up about becoming a stepmum to Peter Andre's two children, Princess and Junior. Peter Andre 's wife Emily MacDonagh has lifted the lid on the early days during their relationship. She revealed she was seemingly barred from his bedroom for over a year. Before meeting Emily, Mysterious Girl singer Peter was previously married to Katie Price, who he shares children Princess and Junior with. However following their highly public split in May 2009, he moved on to find love again with Emily. ‌ As their romance continued to blossom, Emily found herself quickly stepping into the role of stepmother to Pete's children. When asked if she immediately took on the stepmother duties, she explained: "Not straightaway as a stepmom, but that is a role you are instantly kind of... you're in. You've got two children in your lives straight away." ‌ She elaborated on the gradual nature of her transition into the family reports the Mirror, saying, "It sort of built slowly, because I think I wouldn't expect to step into that role immediately. And I was young as well, you know, so I think we were always really cautious in the beginning about, you know, how much I was around. And we joke about this now with the kids, it's so funny, but we didn't share a bedroom for the first year that we were together." Emily further commented on the situation, adding: "Because, when the kids were there... you know, because he wanted to be respectful. And I really - I actually really admired that at the time, that he always would put them first in everything. I thought that was really lovely." She also expressed her gratitude for being warmly "accepted" by her stepchildren, Junior and Princess. "I always feel lucky that they've kind of accepted me into their family," she said. "And I think then, when we had Millie and Theo - and Belle as well - it kind of cements you even more as a family. But I always feel like, you know, I'm not their mum, and that's something I always have to make sure I tread carefully with. I always see it, I think I would see it a bit more like being a big sister. "Which, I don't know if that's the right way to look at it, but I think, you know, I always try and give them guidance, but I wouldn't overstep that. Like, I obviously try and support them like I would do with my own kids." ‌ Emily and Pete are also raising their children Amelia, 11, and eight-year-old Theo. She is known for taking a "strict" approach to parenting her kids. On Giovanna Fletcher's podcast, Happy mum Happy Baby, Emily shared insights into her parenting style: "I always try and be the same. I'm quite strict though, on my kids. That's what I would say to the older kids -it's lucky there's an age gap, you know? Because then you guys don't need to worry about, like, silly rules I have - screen time and stuff like that. I'm like, you guys can be exempt because you're older. The age gap is enough that my kids don't ask the question, 'Well, why are they allowed to have the screens?'".

When Sian announced the arrival of her baby last year, she posted an adorable snapshot of baby Ruby, showing the newborn snuggled up facing away from the camera, wearing a personalised brown cardigan with her name knitted across it. Beyond her role on This Morning, Sian is also known for lighting up the airwaves on Capital Breakfast, where she joins forces with co-hosts Jordan North and Chris Stark.
