Initially envisioned for Salman Khan, 'Be Happy', a heartfelt dance drama, took a detour when he chose 'Race 3'. Producer Ramesh Taurani revealed Salman's inclination towards the action-packed film put 'Be Happy' on hold. Years later, the film found new life with Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. Fans were surprised to see Abhishek Bachchan in a tender, emotional role as a single father in the recently released film 'Be Happy'. But what many don't know is that this heartfelt dance drama was originally written with Salman Khan in mind. Yes, long before Abhishek stepped in, it was Salman who was deeply involved in developing Be Happy alongside director Remo D'Souza. Back then, the project was gearing up to be a major emotional turn for Salman, a story about a father who would go to any lengths to fulfill his daughter's dream of dancing. It was a fresh genre for the superstar, and it had the potential to show a softer, more grounded side of him on screen. But fate had other plans. The cast of Be Happy at the time had even included Daisy Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez , both of whom later went on to star in 'Race 3' instead.
