Before retiring from NBC's flagship 'Today Show' this past May, the longtime host announced her seventh book 'Jump and Find Joy: Embracing Change in Every Season of Life.' And, now, less than two months post-host gig, the 60-year-old anchor shared that she's going on a six-city tour to promote her literary effort that hits shelves on Sept. 23, 2025. That includes gigs in Charleston, SC (Sept. 20), Chicago, IL (Sept. 21) and New Orleans, LA (Sept. 26). At all shows, Kotb will share excerpts from 'Jump and Find Joy,' which is described as an intimate book that reveals for the first time what Hoda discovered as she started embracing change in every aspect of her life. 'It's filled with stories, inspiration, and little reminders to embrace the moment and choose joy—every single day,' she shared on her website. 'I can't wait for you to read it.' She also worked 'advice from change experts and deeply personal stories' from both celebrities and 'inspirational people in our own communities'' into the text, according to a description from Penguin Random House. Those who attend will be treated to a signed copy of the book. For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about Hoda Kotb's 'Jump and Find Joy' book tour. Hoda Kotb tour schedule 2025 A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to buy tickets can be found below. About 'Jump and Find Joy' Here is Amazon's official synopsis of Kotb's 'Jump and Find Joy': Hoda Kotb didn't expect to join the Today show at age forty-four. Or to become a mother at fifty-two. Or to leave Today and embark on a new adventure at sixty! Change doesn't always arrive when we expect it, and its effects are anything but predictable. But Hoda believes that the benefits of change can be extraordinary…if we're willing to listen to and learn from them. In the tradition of books like Savannah Guthrie's Mostly What God Does and Maria Shriver's I've Been Thinking comes Hoda Kotb's Jump and Find Joy—an intimate book that reveals for the first time what Hoda discovered as she started embracing change in every aspect of her life. In her quest to better understand change and how to work with (not against) it, Hoda relies on her reporting instincts to investigate HOW change works, WHO is approaching it with grace, and WHAT she can apply to her own life and share with others. Jump and Find Joy combines the wisdom of change experts, insights from the latest work on resilience, and deeply personal stories from celebrities and inspirational people in our own communities. From small shifts in daily routines to major leaps of faith, Hoda shows why change isn't to be feared but celebrated…and how each of us can thrive in the midst of changes we'll inevitably face ourselves. You can pre-order 'Jump and Find Joy' here. Hoda Kotb books Ahead of 'Jump and Find Joy,' Kotb released six books. Here's a bit about each of them: Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee Hoda's New York Times best-selling autobiography. Ten Years Later: Six People Who Faced Adversity and Transformed Their Lives Six stories about people that changed their lives…ten years after they made the adjustment. Where We Belong: Journeys That Show Us The Way A number of stories about inspiring people who unexpectedly 'found themselves.' I've Loved You Since Forever Kotb's first children's book; it's a testament to the timeless love between parent and child. You Are My Happy A second children's book; this one celebrates gratitude in life. I Really Needed This Today An inspiring collection of quotes that offer wisdom, courage, and hope. Israeli strikes on Iran: ‘You can't bomb people into a revolution' Hoda Katebi

'You can't bomb people into a revolution.' That's how Iranian-American activist Hoda Katebi describes the escalating war between Israel and Iran, following a surprise large-scale Israeli strike, and the calls for regime change emerging. She reflects on the 'disgusting irony' of those who once supported Iranian women now cheering on Israeli strikes, and how narratives like 'liberation through bombing' only strengthen authoritarian governments. In this Real Talk interview, Hoda also opens up about what she's hearing from family on the ground inside Iran, as millions are told to evacuate the capital. 25-year-old man held for blackmailing woman, threatening acid attack after online break-up

MUMBAI: The Mira Bhayander–Vasai Virar (MBVV) Crime Branch has arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly blackmailing and threatening a woman who tried to end their online relationship. The accused not only uploaded her obscene photos on social media but also threatened to throw acid on her face if she did not stay in touch with him. According to Kashimira police in Mira-Bhayandar, the victim, a student from Jharkhand, had met the accused—identified as Imamul Haq Hasanul Hoda—on Facebook and Instagram six months ago. Hoda allegedly used fake credentials to befriend her, and during the course of their virtual relationship, obtained personal photos from her. In March, when the woman tried to cut off contact, Hoda allegedly began blackmailing her. After she blocked him, he posted the photos online and issued chilling threats, including acid attacks and murder. A case was initially registered at Doranda police station in Ranchi under IPC sections 354(D) (stalking) and 506 (criminal intimidation), as well as sections 66(C), 66(D), and 67 of the Information Technology Act. Crime branch officials said Hoda had gone into hiding after the FIR was filed, but continued harassing the woman through fake social media accounts. Technical surveillance initially traced him to Dharavi, but he later relocated to Mira Road. Acting on instructions from senior officers, a joint team from the Kashimira police station, Crime Branch Unit 1, and Doranda police zeroed in on the accused in Kashimira and arrested him on Thursday. The accused is being handed over to the Doranda police for further investigation.

Jenna Bush Hager is 'still searching for Hoda Kotb's replacement'

Jenna Bush Hager is "still searching" for Hoda Kotb's replacement on the 'Today' show. The 60-year-old broadcaster left the show in January, and Jenna is still seeking a permanent replacement for her former co-host. Jenna, 43, told People: "We're still searching. "We definitely want somebody permanent at some point just because that's our show, and I think the 'Today' show is such a family. "So to have somebody sit in that seat means a lot to all of us. So it will happen. I think we've all just been kind of living day by day and we don't have any developments yet, but we will." Hoda recently returned to the show as a guest co-host, and Jenna relished the experience of being reunited with her long-time friend. Jenna shared: "Even if time goes by, there's a connection that is undeniable, and I felt that way being with her. I just felt like my nervous system kind of relaxed and it was so nice to be with her. "There could have been no better reunion. It felt really great." Meanwhile, Hoda recently revealed that she decided to leave 'Today' because her daughter was facing a health crisis. The veteran broadcaster - who is the adoptive mother of Haley, eight, and six-year-old Hope - walked away from the show after her daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Speaking to 'Extra', Hoda explained: "We thought it was the flu and it wasn't getting better. I went to the pediatrician a handful of times, and they kept saying that it seemed like the flu and don't worry, don't worry, and one day I looked at her and I said, 'I'm worried.' So I took her to the ER and she was in the ICU for several days, so it was difficult. "It definitely factored in [to my decision to leave]. I mean, look, all I did was look at her numbers. I had my phone on the set when we were doing the news, and I was looking, 'cause you can see what her levels are doing, and if they drop too low, she needs help. So I was constantly looking at it, calling the school, calling my babysitter, calling, and I'm like, 'Why am I calling all the time? Just, you be there."

Hoda Kotb feels ready for her next 'chapter' in life

Hoda Kotb is "open" to finding love again. The 60-year-old TV star has barely thought about romance since leaving the 'Today' show in January - but Hoda is now looking forward to the next "chapter" in her life. Hoda - who has Haley, eight, and Hope, six, with former partner Joel Schiffman - told People: "I've been really getting my sea legs. When it happens will be the time it's supposed to happen." Hoda is now looking forward to the future with optimism, admitting that she's open to finding someone new. The broadcaster - who was married to Burzis Kanga between 2005 and 2008 - said: "When things are supposed to end, they end. And when things are supposed to begin, they begin. "But you have to be wide open because if you're not, it's not happening. So I think that chapter is yet to come, but I know it's coming. And I'm excited for that chapter." Hoda left her role on the 'Today' show on January 10, and she subsequently announced plans to launch her own wellness app. During a conversation on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', the host told Hoda: "I have to say though, ma'am, as soon as they told me you were not doing the 'Today' show, I was like, 'So what's that b**** doing?' "I was like, 'Because there's no way you're not doing anything.' You're me, you like problems, you like working." Hoda then admitted that she's determined to stay busy, before revealing her plans for her new wellness business. The TV host shared: "I like things, I do. "So, I kind of got hooked in the wellness space, like a couple of years ago. I started doing stuff that I thought seemed woo woo and weird, and then all of a sudden as I was doing it. I was like, 'Wait, I feel calmer, I feel better.'" Hoda has been busily "building" her new business venture over recent times, and she's convinced that it has huge potential. Hoda explained: "We can get together, do things that I love, and when you're done, it's not like going to Mexico with your girls, which is fun, but this is something that when you leave, you'll go like, 'Oh my gosh. I feel transformed. I feel different.' So I'm in the building process of that."
