Revealed: Meet the new MAFS Australia cast as filming for season 13 begins, from a reality star to influencer
We've only just said goodbye to the chaotic and beloved cast of the last season of Married at First Sight Australia, but already filming has begun on season 13, with a number of the cast being revealed. Over the past few weeks the first weddings for the new series have been taking place throughout Australia, with a number of nuptials being photographed and therefore revealing the new cast members taking the plunge to marry someone at first sight. So far we've seen about eight of the new cast members and they include some recognisable Aussie faces including a TV presenter, a reality star and an influencer. Ready to meet them? Here's everything to know about the cast of Married at First Sight Australia season 13. Bec, or Bec Zac as she is reportedly known to her friends as, was the first bride of the series to be announced and was photographed heading to her wedding last week. Bec is a real estate agent from Adelaide and her wedding took place in Sydney, however right now we don't know who her groom is. Another Rebecca! This time it's Rebecca Zukowski, who is a leasing manager from Melbourne. Her wedding to groom Steve Powell took place in Sydney's Centennial Park last week. Ahead of the show starting it's already been reported Rebecca is set to be this season's wild card, with the Daily Mail claiming: "She's wild – think Jamie [Marinos] – just with years of experience. She was overheard yelling on her balcony in between takes – it was a whole moment." Another insider told the publication Rebecca has "got this larger-than-life energy and doesn't tone herself down for anyone." Marrying Rebecca is Steve Powell, however, not much is known about him apart from his marriage right now. Gia is a micro-influencer from Melbourne with just over 30,000 followers on her now private Instagram account. A source told the Daily Mail Australia, Gia "doesn't give a single f*** what anyone thinks" and is "bold, she's brash and she says whatever's on her mind - which makes for absolutely iconic TV." She's getting married to reality star Scott McCristal who has previously appeared on a number of Aussie TV shows before. Pictures have surfaced of their pair's wedding taking place on a beach, with Gia showcasing her wedding garter on her leg in a number of pictures. Scott is a reality TV star in Australia, and has previously appeared on shows such as Blind Date, Holey Moley, and Million Dollar Island. He's previously spoken about his love of reality TV, telling The Courier Mail in 2018: "Tradie work is not for me. I want fame. My dream goal is to do TV and movies." When he's not doing reality TV, Scott keeps his 25,000 Instagram followers entertained and runs three businesses - a jet ski company, an asset finance business and sells cars too. Daniel is next on the list of next year's MAFS Australia cast. Daniel is a Melbourne based real estate agent, whose friends have described him as "fun, confident, and the life of the party." We're not quite sure who he is set to marry yet, but one thing we do know is in his career as an estate agent he's reportedly made $9.6 million in sales in the last year. Pretty impressive. Daniel is reportedly from Britain originally and was spotted outside his wedding ceremony. Ankita is a sports presenter, with a main specialist area of cricket and over the years has worked for Mumbai Indians and most recently Cricket Australia. She is also Miss India Australia Runner up and has nearly 40,000 followers on Instagram. Her wedding took place just days ago in Sydney to groom Micah Lomu, in which she looked stunning wearing a traditional Indian sequin lehenga. Not much is known about Micah apart from that he got married to Ankita and he is reportedly a finance broker. Married at First Sight Australia is available to catchup on on Channel 4

'I'm not retiring. I'm not leaving the show. I'm still a host, but it's time for a change.' (Watch his full announcement here.) He added that his new role will 'make it easier for me to report from Florida and other parts of America that don't get a lot of network airtime. I'll be going from the Carolinas to the Keys, from middle America to Mar-a-Lago. Call me the coast-to-coast host.' Plus, he still plans to join 'the couch crew for commentary' remotely, assuring viewers that they will 'still hear my voice and my opinions loud and clear.' Though Doocy said he was delighted to no longer wake up in the middle of the night for his work commute, he got emotional when acknowledging his friends and colleagues in New York that he won't see every day. 'I have a lot of friends in this skyscraper. I'm going to miss seeing them in person,' a choked-up Doocy went on. 'The security guys, the cafe crew, especially the hair and makeup team, because they are geniuses at what they do. And the closest to my heart: the Fox & Friends team, working day and night producing America's No. 1 cable morning news show.' Doocy then gave individual kudos to Fox & Friends co-hosts Brian Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt and Lawrence Jones, who cued up a sizzle reel of highlights from Doocy's many years at Fox & Friends.
