Kristin Cavallari's changing face: Plastic surgery expert weighs in after star bashed Botox

Kristin Cavallari is turning heads with her radiant glow — and while the Hills alum has been open about some of her beauty procedures, a celebrity cosmetic doctor is now breaking down what treatments she may have had to achieve her stunning look. The 38-year-old mom of three, who shares her children with ex-husband Jay Cutler, has long denied using Botox and recently doubled down on that stance. 'I hate to always be bashing Botox, but I just personally have always taken the stance that... something you're injecting in your face to freeze your muscles cannot be good for you,' she said in a September Instagram post. Cavallari did admit to trying Dysport — a milder form of Botox — under her eyes once, but said she 'absolutely hated it.' In that same post, she also confirmed she's had a breast lift and augmentation, writing, 'Sometimes I wonder if my decision to get them would be different today.' As fans continue to gush over her youthful look while she promotes her new series Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, questions are swirling online about how the reality star has maintained such a fresh appearance two decades after her TV debut in 2004. Now, Dr. Jennifer Armstrong — a cosmetic physician and former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member — is offering her take in a social media video Now, Dr. Jennifer Armstrong — a cosmetic physician and former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member — is offering her take in a social media video. Though she's never treated Cavallari, Dr. Jen compared older and recent photos of the star and speculated that Kristin may have undergone a 'forehead reduction.' 'If we look at her forehead, in her before picture it looks longer, and in her after picture it looks shorter,' she said. 'Could she have gotten a forehead reduction?' Dr. Armstrong also questioned whether Cavallari may have had blepharoplasty, a surgical procedure to lift hooded eyelids, as well as rhinoplasty and lip filler — despite Kristin's public stance against injectables. 'She says she's off Botox and filler,' Dr. Armstrong noted, 'so are we looking at plastic surgery now instead?' The doctor went on to suggest Kristin's fuller jawline could indicate jaw filler use, though again, all her observations were based on visual comparisons and remain unconfirmed. has not received a response to its request for comment from reps for Cavallari. Armstrong then launched into a detailed breakdown of the procedures she would perform on Kristin — outlining what she viewed as areas that could be 'improved' or enhanced to meet her own cosmetic standards. The Newport Beach-based aesthetic physician is known as one of the top injectors in Orange County and has had her work published in multiple peer-reviewed journals. She has a large celebrity clientele, including many of her fellow Real Housewives of Orange County alums like Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson. Her clinic focuses on 'extremely natural results so women can achieve anti-aging without looking like they've had anything done'. Last year, Dr. Armstrong broke down exactly what she thought Dorit Kemsley may have had done to achieve her stunning looks. She praised The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills star's use of Botox, before pointing that her brows appear more arched now compared to before. 'It has this beautiful arch here, look at the difference,' she gushed while examining before and after photos of the 47-year-old. 'It changes her whole face,' Dr. Armstrong continued, before recommending brow threads for people who are looking to improve their appearance. Dr. Armstrong, who has never personally treated Dorit, believes that she may have had a nose job - despite the reality star claiming many times in the past that she hasn't. 'You can see that it's a little bit wider in this before picture and very straight and smooth in this after picture,' Dr. Armstrong pointed out. The celebrity injector, who previously starred on The Real Housewives of Orange County, also claimed that Dorit's different looks might be the result of more than just makeup tricks. 'You can't arch a brow like this or slim a nose in that capacity with just contour and makeup - if we could we'd all be out of business,' she said at the time. Back in September, Cavallari once again explained why she has no plans to try Botox in the near future. The star addressed her followers via Instagram, explaining her decision to avoid the cosmetic procedure. This came after she faced criticism from fans who challenged her for calling Botox 'harmful' in a previous post. 'I've started a mess in my DMs,' the Hills alum began with a laugh. 'Women are so passionate and I love it. Listen... at the end of the day, you do what works for you. Botox is not for me, but a lot of you look really great with it and if you want to get it, get it.' She continued, 'I hate to always be bashing Botox, but I just personally have always taken the stance that... something you're injecting in your face to freeze your muscles cannot be good for you.' Before signing off, she added, 'I don't care what anybody says, that's just common sense.' On a follow-up Instagram Stories post, Kristen wrote, 'And this is NOT to defend me getting my boobs done, but I did 8 years ago. I've taken my health up a notch and have even thought about taking them out. 'I sometimes wonder if my decision to get them would be different today.' In March 2023, the fashion designer revealed why she is embracing her age lines and avoiding Botox. The beauty also shared different beauty products and techniques she uses with her 4.6M Instagram followers. 'My lines don't bother me. You can see them here [a photo with her daughter] on my forehead. I'm extremely animated so I would lose a lot of my expression if I got Botox.' She continued: 'I'm happier at age 36 than I ever have been and my lines mean I've lived and have experience which I love.' Kristin also got candid about why she has chosen not to try Botox. 'I'm trying to just embrace getting older— I don't want to chase something for the rest of my life. 'But I also think it makes more sense to work your face muscles out the same way you would your body. Once you freeze those muscles, there's no going back,' she explained. The star also revealed that did try Dysport, which is a less potent version of Botox, under her eyes once, and she 'absolutely hated it.' Kristin shared a photo of herself after she had the procedure done and called fans to look at 'how it made my eyes slope downward.' She added, 'This is why I will never do any of that c***. I got convinced to do dysport and I can't even look at photos from this time period. Luckily it was gone within 5 months.' Another person asked her what advice she has for fine lines around the eyes. She responded with a simple, 'Embrace them damnit!' and added a photo of herself, writing underneath, 'You can see all my lines here...' The Laguna Beach alum went on to talk about the only treatments she relies on, which include micro-needling and, again, no Botox. Kristin made it clear that she is open to anything natural and that she is even doing research on stem cells for skincare. For those who look for a more simple anti-aging routine, the Back to the Beach podcast host shared her advice. 'Drink a s*** ton of water, eat healthy most of the time, go outside, get good friends, laugh, and stop caring so damn much.' The bombshell is no stranger to beauty secrets having started her own jewelry company called Uncommon James and expanding to a skincare line called Uncommon Beauty. After fans expressed interest in Kristin expanding her jewelry line and dipping a toe into the beauty world, the star listened and launched her skincare products in 2022. According to the website: 'Our line begins with the five products that should form the foundation for any effective daily skincare routine.' Kristin also shared that the goal of her company 'is to shrink the daily skincare routine, so you can feel really good about what you're putting on your skin.'

Nikki Garcia recalls reunion with ex-fiance John Cena seven years after calling off engagement

Nikki Garcia recalled reuniting with her ex-fiance John Cena for the first time seven years after calling off their engagement in 2018. The WWE wrestler, 41 - who recently broke her silence on her brutal divorce payout to Artem Chigvintsev - opened up about the topic on the recent episode of the Honestly Cavallari podcast. It had been recorded back in March during Cavallari's podcast tour when Nikki and her twin sister Brie were guests. The former couple had crossed paths at 2025 Royal Rumble in early February 'seven [or] eight years' after they had last seen each other. 'It was very quick,' Garcia expressed, adding that it had been so out of 'respect' since the fellow pro wrestler, 48, is a 'married man' now. Cena tied the knot with Shay Shariatzadeh in 2020. 'I was in a circle talking to people. He came to [shake] everyone's hand. He shook my hand,' Nikki said. Host Cavallari told Garcia that she was surprised they did not hug which prompted the TV personality to affirm that it had only been a handshake. 'We just said, "Hello, good to see you. I think last time we were engaged. I don't know. It's been a while,"' the star remembered. 'But the thing was, when he walked away, all the girls were like, "Oh my gosh." I'm like, "Shh, shh, He's married, be respectful." And that was it.' While the interaction was brief, Nikki expressed that it had been 'nice' and added, 'It was great because breaking the ice and you know, we just both happened to be back at the same time. It's a good feeling.' After Garcia told the story of the reunion, Kristin then teased, 'Everyone wants you guys to be together.' But the mom-of-one quickly changed the subject by responding with, 'Oh, gosh. Oh, next question!' Nikki and John first began dating in 2012 but it later emerged that Cena had made her sign an alleged 75-page contract before they moved in together. Some of the bizarre demands included her 'being a "guest" in his home' and that they both have the 'same morning and evening routine.' 'We just said, "Hello, good to see you. I think last time we were engaged. I don't know. It's been a while,"' the star remembered; seen earlier this month in NYC Five years into their relationship, John got down on one knee and popped the big question to Garcia - during WrestleMania 33 in 2017. At the time, he had announced in front of the crowd: 'I have been waiting so long to ask you this. Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?' She said yes to the proposal, which resulted in the audience in the venue to let out excited cheers. However the following year, the pair split and ended their engagement. Their wedding had already been scheduled for May 2018 which was canceled. In a joint statement at the time, per Us Weekly, Nikki and John expressed: 'While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.' Not long after the split, the two stars reunited but officially ended the relationship in July 2018. 'After I called off the engagement, we tried to work on our relationship to get back to where it was in order to move forward with our wedding,' she told Us Weekly. 'After much time and soul-searching alone, and together, we have decided to officially part ways. I had a beautiful and loving six-year relationship with a wonderful man. I have the utmost respect for John, but I know this is what's best for me.' In her 2020 memoir, Incomparable, she got candid about their separation and wrote they both she and Cena had 'struggled to align.' 'Rather than turn and face that, I pushed it under the carpet and figured I could pretend like it wasn't there. Because I was terrified of losing my love, I stuffed my desire for marriage and kids as deep as I could.' In regards to children, she added, 'He had made it clear that they weren't on the menu for him. 'That's tough, though, because if you're inclined that way, then the more you grow to love someone, the more you want it all.' Garcia went on to welcome her son Matteo, four, with ex Artem Chigvintsev in July 2020. The pair first crossed paths when he was her partner on Dancing With The Stars - and they later tied the knot in 2022. However, after just two years of marriage, the two went through a public divorce which took place not long after he had been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in Napa County. But no charges were filed. Last month in May, Nikki broke her silence on the brutal split and the payout she was ordered to give Artem from her 'hard-earned money.' In her 2020 memoir, Incomparable, she got candid about their separation and wrote they both she and Cena had 'struggled to align'; seen in 2023 in Nashville She had to pay her ex-husband $200k in spousal support and is also giving $3,500 each month in child support. On The Nikki & Brie Show podcast, Garcia explained, 'Our settlement is what everyone saw. Yes, I had to give him $200,000. Spousal support, alimony.' Nikki added that what she is paying her ex is 'a steal.' 'Our judge said at the end of it, "This is the first time in all the years I've done this where a woman had to pay a man. You should be so damn proud that you built such an empire that someone wants a piece of it."' The mom-of-one admitted, 'It was nice to hear that… even though it hurts because I broke my neck for that money. That money, all that is my hard-earned money.' Nikki then revealed that she is fine with the child support payments due to wanting the best for their son Matteo. She then gave a positive update on their co-parenting relationship following their publicized split last year.

Kristin Cavallari sets record straight about custody agreement with Jay Cutler

Kristin Cavallari is getting honest about her divorce from Jay Cutler. The 38-year-old 'Laguna Beach' alumna shares three kids — sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 11, and daughter Saylor, 9 — with the former NFL quarterback, whom she tied the knot with in 2013. Cavallari filed for divorce in April 2020, and the couple reached a custody agreement one month later. On the June 24 episode of her 'Let's Be Honest' podcast, Cavallari addressed an inconsistency from her new reality show, 'Honestly Cavallari,' where she alludes to having her kids 'full-time.' Later in the episode, she says she has them only 'every other weekend.' On her podcast, Cavallari explains that the editing was 'a little wonky' and her comment 'wasn't explained very well on the show.' 'So let me just clear this up. I did have my kids full-time for a while and now I have them except for every other weekend,' she clarified. 'I'm not going to get into the reasoning or legality around it.' Her update comes nearly eight months after she made a rare comment about the custody agreement in an October episode of her podcast. Cavallari was talking about her split from ex-boyfriend Mark Estes when she revealed that she didn't know if she had the time to reenter the dating world. 'When I was dating last fall, I was still doing split custody with my ex and I had every other week off from my kids,' she explained on the podcast, per People, before revealing, 'That's changed.' Cavallari further described herself as a 'homebody' and said she doesn't 'have a lot of time for anything else.' Elsewhere in the June 24 podcast episode, Cavallari took a moment to address the haters. The mother of three was alluding to a comment she made in a confessional on her reality TV show about not wanting to talk about her marriage anymore. 'In the interview chair, I did say 'I am so sick of talking about my marriage.' I don't actually want to talk about my marriage on my new show. Let's all move on,' she explained on the podcast. She then turned her attention to the people who encourage the comments about her marriage. 'People get asked the same questions over and over and over and over. I've been divorced for over five years, and people still ask me about it,' she said on the podcast. 'I can't win, but it is also part of my story, so if periodically I do say one little thing, well — because it's part of my journey,' she argued. Cavallari also addressed the 'online people' who say she's only successful because of Cutler. 'I don't get a penny from my ex-husband. I never have through my divorce. …/ It's important for me to clear up because that's why I work so hard is because I'm supporting three children,' she explained. She goes on to praise herself for being '100% owner' of her jewelry line Uncommon James. 'People love to discredit that Uncommon James or anything in my life is only successful because of my ex-husband — because my ex-husband had money,' Cavallari continued. 'I didn't get any money in the divorce. I don't get anything for child support. I mean, never. That was never even on the table to be quite honest with you. I've never even wanted it,' she added. Cavallari says it's important for her to clear that up because she's 'really proud' of everything she has accomplished and everything she built 'with my own money.'
