On Wednesday, Mahomes and the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation announced a new initiative: awarding $150,000 in college scholarships to high school seniors in Kansas City, his hometown of Tyler, Texas and Lubbock, Texas, where he played college football at Texas Tech. Back in 2022, he also "provided a $25,000 grant to the SEAL Legacy Foundation in support of the Honored SEAL Legacy Scholarship Program."
