Rylan Clark says 'I actually got pretty worried' as he shares intimate confession
Rylan Clark has opened up about his sex life and relationships, admitting he has a 'worry' when it comes to being intimate with someone after the breakdown of his marriage Rylan Clark has opened up about a personal "worry" following the end of his marriage, revealing how it's affected his approach to new relationships. The BBC Radio 2 presenter parted ways with his ex-husband, Dan Neal, in 2021. This revelation comes after Rylan admitted to being unfaithful earlier in their relationship. Despite acknowledging that the split was "the right thing to happen," he admits to experiencing a "full-on breakdown" post-separation. Now, the one-time X Factor contestant is dipping his toes back into the dating pool—yet he's noticed a significant shift in his feelings toward intimacy with other men. On his podcast How to Be in Love, Rylan, 36, shared: "I have found that, since the breakdown of my marriage, if I've gone on any dates or started seeing people, when I've had sex with them, I lose interest pretty quickly." He continued, expressing his concerns: "I actually got pretty worried about a year or two ago because I thought, hang on a minute, I don't remember this from BM—I call it, before marriage. I don't remember having sex with someone, or orgasming with someone, climaxing, and then after that thinking, 'Oh, I'm just not bothered now'." Neuroscientist Dr Tara Swart weighed in on Rylan's situation, suggesting that the emotional trauma from his marriage could be influencing his current feelings post-intimacy. She responded: "So now that you've put it like that—with the BM—that probably, because you were so hurt, something has changed for you." The former Celebrity Big Brother champ shared his fears about commitment, saying: "I did worry for a long time that, almost like I was frightened to commit or open myself fully to someone, because going through a break-up is quite hard." Rylan has been open about feeling like a "failure" following his divorce. In a heart-to-heart with ex-Love Island star Tasha Ghouri, he confessed: "When I went through my divorce, I had a full-on breakdown because it wasn't just us." He continued, revealing the weight of public perception: "It felt like it wasn't just us, even though it was just me and my ex. I felt that everyone's going to think this of me. Everyone's going to think, 'Oh look, his life isn't perfect. Oh look, he's failed like that.' I just felt like a failure." In a candid chat with Stephen Fry, Rylan expressed how he grappled with the public scrutiny during his split, admitting: "There was part of me that just felt like a complete and utter failure. I felt like I'd failed personally, but I felt like I'd failed publicly on behalf of—the gays! You know, I'm not, I'm not 'head gay', it's not that." Looking ahead to future romance, Rylan opened up in his autobiography, TEN: The Decade That Changed My Future, where he reflects: "I got in a relationship quite young and just went with it. Now I know I'm my own person. I'm not going to settle for something that's not right. In a way, it's been a bit of a gift. "I'm happy to have sex with someone and that's that, that's not a problem. But do I want more? Of course I want more. Am I going to enjoy myself on the way? Abso-f***ing-lutely."

Rylan Clark shares Rob Rinder relationship update and says he 'isn't the first person I speak to'
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Rylan Clark has humorously stated that Rob Rinder "isn't the first person he speaks to" in the morning, shedding light on their close-knit relationship. The pair, who became firm friends while filming their TV show together, have been a source of support for each other during personal trials. Describing their joint venture, 'Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour', as "like therapy", Rylan confessed that he was still grappling with his split from Dan Neal when they embarked on their Italian adventure. However, he found the process of filming the show akin to "restarting" his life. Rob, too, had experienced marital strife, having separated from ex-husband Seth Cumming in 2018. "We've both been through painful divorces recently and are ready for the next chapter," Rylan shared with the BBC post-filming. Their candid exploration of personal struggles resonated with audiences, earning them a BAFTA for Best Factual Entertainment show. Upon receiving the award, Rylan admitted to feeling "raw" during the filming of the series. He explained: "For me, the show, it happened at a really weird time for me like I still wasn't fully over sort of the breakdown of my marriage and was flung with the judge." (Image: Rylan Instagram) He added: "I think the journey, and I hate that word in telly but its so true, when you watch our series, that journey from when we meet to sort of how raw especially I was at that time." Despite being "flung" together for the show, viewers witnessed the blossoming friendship between Rob and Rylan, sparking rumours of a potential romance. Rob, 47, even recently admitted fans have a 'sense of disappointment' when they see him without Rylan. And in a conversation with the Sunday Times, Rylan admits people think the first thing he does each day is chat to Rob. (Image: Rob Rinder X/Twitter) He quipped: "Contrary to popular belief, Rob Rinder isn't the first person I speak to but he is a very good friend of mine. Everyone thinks we're together and we are quite like a married couple: we spend lots of time in each other's company and never have sex." Instead, it's a coffee-filled morning for Rylan, who confesses to needing "three or four cups" of decaf followed by a collagen-packed shake to fire up his day. New horizons in love are beckoning for Rylan as he embarks on a journey to uncover "real love" with a brand new podcast dubbed 'How to Be in Love', all this while pining for Mr Right. This personal revelation comes shortly after Scott Mills, his Eurovision partner-in-crime, suggested Rylan could do with a match like his own spouse, Sam Vaughn. Scott told The Mirror: "Rylan needs to find his version of Sam because that's what he needs. Sometimes Rylan is like, 'Oh, I wish I had someone like Sam,' and it's like, 'Hey, you have got all the time in the world.' I know deep down he would love to find somebody. "It took me a long time to find the right one. Not discounting any of my other relationships because I'm on good terms with people. But it took me quite a long time and it's worth it in the end because you know it's the right thing."

Unlikely UK TV star admits love of WWE ahead of tonight's Money in the Bank show
The wrestling brand has gained millions of new fans since its move to Netflix - including national treasure Stephen Fry who went to this year's WrestleMania with his husband Elliott Spencer Since WWE signed their multi-billion pound deal with Netflix, more British viewers have been watching wrestling than ever before. But potentially joining other fans in settling down to watch tonight's Money in the Bank, which sees John Cena take the next high profile step on his retirement tour as well as setting the agenda for the next few months of high-flying action, is an unlikely national treasure. High-brow star Stephen Fry explained he too has started watching WWE in an interview released this week. Chatting with Rylan on the BBC podcast How to Be in Love, Fry made rare comments about his life with his husband, comedian Elliott Spencer. The couple have an age gap of 30 years with Fry candidly saying that the difference meant he had been introduced to things he might not have experienced otherwise. Speaking of his husband, Fry said: "So much of what I love in music and literature and so on is not necessarily from this century. He teaches me things I just didn't know. He introduced me to Kendrick Lamar, which was a great thing to do because Kendrick Lamar, I've decided, is a great poetical spirit. "He also has a great affection for – and I guess you could call it ironic, but it's real – WWE. And I just don't know if I can reveal this extraordinary truth, but I bought a couple of tickets to WrestleMania in Las Vegas." Who knows if the famous pair will be settling down to watch tonight, but either way tonight's event, as the first Money in the Bank shown on Netflix, will have the biggest ever audience for the annual institution. The show starts at midnight in the UK and is the latest premium live event that Netflix subscribers, whether direct or who watch for free as part of their Sky TV bundles - can see without actually paying an extra penny. No matter what the final results are tonight, British fans can have a ringside seat on the drama that unfolds once the iconic briefcases have been won. WWE is holding a huge pay-per-view event in Paris in late August and the UK is hosting several 'Road to Clash in Paris' live shows in the run-up. As well as shows in Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds and Cardiff, Dublin's 3Arena will host the city's first ever Friday Night SmackDown. Meanwhile, Birmingham will host their first Monday Night Raw in almost a decade. Tickets are available for all shows via Ticketmaster here. Meanwhile fans who want to push the boat out can get VIP hospitality packages via Seat Unique with a host of perks including free food and drink and priority seating. WWE Money in the Bank 2025 final card and start time Unlike many of the other premium live events in WWE's calendar, Money in the Bank has relatively few matches as the two titular clashes for the iconic briefcases take centre stage. Confirmed for tonight at the show, which starts streaming on Netflix at 12 midnight UK time, are: The Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match - Solo Sikoa vs LA Knight vs Penta vs Seth Rollins vs Andrade vs El Grande Americano Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match - Alexa Bliss vs Roxanne Perez vs Rhea Ripley vs Giulia vs Naomi vs Stephanie Vaquer Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso vs John Cena & Logan Paul in a tag team match Lyra Valkyria vs Becky Lynch for the Women's Intercontinental Championship

Stephen Fry gives rare insight into relationship with younger husband
Celebrity Traitors contestant Stephen Fry opened up to Rylan Clark about his marriage to Elliott Spencer on the latest episode of the BBC Sounds podcast How to Be in Love Broadcaster Stephen Fry has given a rare insight into his marriage to Elliott Spencer after more than a decade together. It's included him revealing that he has discovered aspects of pop culture through his younger husband. Stephen, 67, and Elliott, 38, have been together since 2013. The couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary earlier this year and the former QI host described himself as "a lucky man" in a post marking the occasion in January. The Blackadder star has now spoken about his marriage whilst a guest on the BBC Sounds podcast Rylan: How to Be in Love. He was interviewed by host Rylan Clark, 36, for the latest episode, which was released earlier today. Stephen was asked about the age gap between the couple and said he "stopped thinking about it". He went on to suggest in the discussion that a younger partner can be "more experienced in the world as it is than as it was". The comedian, who said that he has "completely different tastes in things" compared to his husband Elliott, added: "So much of what I love in music and literature and so on is from not necessarily this century. It isn't from this century." Asked how that plays out, he said: "It's wonderful." Stephen then revealed that Elliott has introduced him to rapper Kendrick Lamar and wrestling brand WWE, for example, with him sharing that he's now a fan of them himself. Stephen said of his husband: "He teaches me things I just didn't know. He introduced me to Kendrick Lamar, which was a great thing to do because [he's] I've decided is a great poetical spirit - a really remarkable figure." He continued: "So that, plus, now you're really going to laugh here, because I thought 'is he insane?' He has a great affection for, and I guess you could call it ironic, but it's real, for WWE." Stephen - who is set to compete on Celebrity Traitors later this year - said that Elliott introduced him to the "cast of characters" in wrestling, whom he described as "bloody talented". Asked if he's a fan now, he said: "I kind of am." He added that he's even bought tickets for WrestleMania in Las Vegas. Asked about the "secret" to a "successful" ten-year marriage, Stephen said that every relationship is different. He said that each relationship is "brand new" and has "never been seen before," adding: "So I can tell you how to have a successful relationship with Elliott, but that's probably not very helpful." Sharing his thoughts, he added: "All the normal human virtues, some of which are forgotten virtues, but one of the most important human virtues I think isn't even really considered a virtue, but it is one that changes the world. "It's not kindness, which obviously is important, but it's a subset of kindness, perhaps. And it's cheerfulness. When you're in the presence of a cheerful person it makes everything better. They're like their own sunshine. So that's one of the things - if one is down to help the other come up."
