Anand: As the 44th batch of students graduated from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), the highest salary package offered this year reached an impressive Rs 31.84 lakh per annum — marking a 2.18% increase over last year's highest package of Rs 31.16 lakh. The record-breaking offer was extended to two students: Hrishabh Mitra from Anand and Riya Maithani from Uttarakhand, both recruited by fintech giant PhonePe. IRMA director Dr Umakant Dash said, "The mean and median packages also saw significant year-on-year growth of 10.6% and 5.3% respectively." The median salary package for the 44th batch now stands at Rs 15.80 lakh per annum, up from Rs 15 lakh last year. The mean package has also risen, reaching Rs 15.64 lakh per annum, compared to Rs 14.14 lakh the previous year. The lowest salary package offered stood at Rs 8 lakh per annum. Nearly 100 organisations showed interest in participating in this year's campus placement process, out of which 65 actively recruited from the graduating batch. The Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector remained the leading recruiter, accounting for nearly 39% of total placements. This was followed by the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) and social business sectors, which emerged as the second and third largest recruiters, respectively. As in previous years, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (Amul Fed) continued to be one of the top recruiters. Other notable recruiters included the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Atomberg Technologies, AU Small Finance Bank, BAIF Development Research Foundation, Banas Dairy, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Coromandel International, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, ITC, L&T Finance, and Maruti Suzuki India Limited, among others. IRMA moves closer to being part of cooperatives university

Anand: The 44th annual convocation of the Institute of Rural Management Anand ( IRMA ) on Saturday marked the beginning of the transition of the country's premier rural management institute into the country's first cooperatives university. After Parliament passed the Tribhuvan Sahkari University (TSU) Bill 2025 and the President's assent, Saturday's convocation was the first academic ceremony that marked IRMA's transformation into TSU, an institution of national importance under the Union ministry of cooperation. As TSU starts taking shape as the country's first cooperatives university, IRMA, which was registered as a society, will become one of the schools of the university. Union home and cooperation minister Amit Shah is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the university next week. "IRMA and now Tribhuvan Sahkari University are the realization of a dream shared by Dr Verghese Kurien and the late Tribhuvandasji Patel, who devoted his entire life to the welfare of farmers through cooperatives. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, also worked tirelessly for the upliftment of rural lives. These three visionaries believed that the comforts and facilities available to urban citizens should equally reach people in villages," said Gujarat governor Acharya Devvrat, the chief guest of the convocation. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas For Sale in Dubai Might Surprise You Dubai villas | search ads Undo "This university of cooperation is the outcome of the far-sighted thinking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah," he said. As the convocation itself took place in the TK Patel Auditorium inside the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) campus, the sound of bells ringing from the Amul carillon chimes, the symbolic monument that stands tall inside the IRMA campus, was missing. There was no dearth of joy among the 329 students, who, dressed in handloom kurta-pyjamas, angavastrams and kolhapuri sandals, received their degrees in rural management, for the PGDM(RM), PGDM (RM-executive) and FPM (RM) programmes. Jagdish Vishwakarma, minister of state for cooperation; Dr J M Vyas, the newly appointed vice-chancellor of TSU; Dr Meenesh Shah, chairman of NDDB; and IRMA director Dr Umakant Dash conferred the gold medals and degrees to the graduating batch.

GuidePoint Security Launches New Incident Response Maturity Assessment to Help Organizations Strengthen Cyber Resilience

New offering provides a clear path for improved cybersecurity incident detection, containment and recovery RESTON, Va., June 10, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GuidePoint Security, a cybersecurity solutions leader enabling organizations to make smarter decisions and minimize risk, announced today the launch of its new Incident Response Maturity Assessment (IRMA), designed to help organizations evaluate, strengthen and mature their cybersecurity incident response capabilities. As digital threats continue to grow in complexity and frequency, many organizations are struggling to build and maintain effective incident response programs, leaving them vulnerable to cyber attacks and regulatory risk. GuidePoint's IRMA offering addresses these challenges head-on by providing a comprehensive, tailored assessment that benchmarks current incident response capabilities against industry standards, provides actionable recommendations for improvement and sets an actionable roadmap for future development. "Too often, organizations don't realize their response processes are fragmented, outdated, or insufficient until they're in the middle of a serious incident," said Mark Lance, Vice President, DFIR and Threat Intelligence at GuidePoint Security. "IRMA gives security teams a clear view of their posture, along with practical steps to build a more mature, effective and resilient response program over time." GuidePoint Security's new IRMA offering includes: Risk Evaluation: Assess your organization's inherent risk and align it with your unique incident response capabilities. Control Domain Assessment: Evaluate incident response across six critical lifecycle phases—preparation, detection, containment, eradication, recovery and post-incident activity. Maturity Evaluation: Analyze your current maturity level and define a clear, measurable path to a stronger future state. Custom Reporting: Receive a detailed report highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and actionable recommendations—prioritized to address the most pressing risks and capability gaps. Debrief and Recommendations: Participate in a post-assessment debrief to review findings and define next steps. Unlike generic security assessments, IRMA is specifically designed for incident response and uses a custom control framework built around industry standard sources like NIST and SANS. The offering also evaluates both the strategic and operational aspects of response programs for a holistic evaluation—ensuring a thorough, accurate assessment that touches on policies, tools, team readiness and real-world application. "With IRMA, we're empowering organizations to respond to incidents faster, smarter and with greater confidence," Lance added. "It's about building a more complete and resilient response program that ensures you keep pace with evolving threats and aligns with business risk."
