I'm in my 50s and embrace my wrinkles. What is the best type of makeup that won't sink into fine lines?

I'm in my 50s and I'm looking for the best makeup for a face with wrinkles. In terms of skin care, I don't ever plan to do anything besides sunscreen and moisturizer. I want to embrace my wrinkles! What is the best type of makeup that won't sink into fine lines? Thanks! — Dear Proudly Wrinkled, First off: Good for you! I love hearing from women who are celebrating aging over dreading it. Frankly, I'd like to see more of this, especially on social media, where the graphic, omnipresent plastic surgery videos are becoming particularly grim. To my eye, a lined face is beautiful, can be radiant and is. Despite what the "anti-aging" racket will tell you, there's nothing to be afraid of. However, as you note, older skin does acquire new beauty needs. Namely, as we lose collagen and elastin, our skin becomes drier and more delicate, and our complexions become flatter and less vibrant. There's also often an uneven texture to contend with — fine lines, wrinkles and visible pores — that can make applying any kind of makeup less, let's say, fluid than it was before. What does all this mean? Well, for starters, the makeup you use today should be adding moisture to your skin, not soaking it up. Unless your skin happens to be extra oily, you should stay away from powders and anything with the word matte to avoid that cakey, creasy, extra-wizened look I'm imagining you've experienced and hated. From your letter, I'm guessing you are, like me, a fairly low-maintenance person, so I'm not going to try to push a multi-step makeup routine here. But, if I were, I'd tell you that for best results, prep your skin with a moisturizing primer before applying your makeup. Next, create a pool of concealer or foundation on the back of your hand and then stipple it on slowly using a damp cosmetic sponge and a few high-quality makeup brushes designed for different parts of your face. According to makeup pros, these steps, plus a post-application setting spray, will give you a "flawless" finish. But depending on your temperament, it might be too annoying for everyday use. I myself apply my favorite products with my hands like a finger-painting child, so I know it can be done. Let's just keep things simple. All skin is different, of course, but the best makeup for a face with wrinkles will tend to be lightweight liquid foundations and concealers, especially those that are makeup-skin care hybrids, which offer sheer coverage, won't settle into fine lines and tend to restore a natural-looking glow. Here are some of my favorites: Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40: I first came upon this lightweight serum, plus foundation, plus sunscreen a few years back on Instagram, and now I wear it most days. It glides on your skin, and the coverage is sheer but just enough to even tone and boost dullness and make me look more awake than I feel. L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation SPF 50: This is a good swap for Ilia at a fraction of the price. The texture is somewhat thicker, and the coverage is a little denser. It's wildly well-reviewed, and though it won't make your skin quite as glowy as the Ilia version, many people prefer a less glowy finish. Also in this price point is e.l.f.'s Halo Glow Liquid Filter, which I haven't tried but has been highly recommended by a few women over 60 I trust. Keys Soulcare It's Like Skin 2-in-1 Concealer + Tint: I did not know Alicia Keys had a cosmetics line until someone sent me this excellent skin tint and concealer, which has an incredible shade range, really brightens your skin and has a luxurious texture and feel. Nars Light Reflecting Foundation: If you're willing to splash out price-wise, I have yet to meet a makeup artist who doesn't rave about this light-reflecting foundation from Nars. It's a gorgeous gorgeous product, buildable and smooth and, even at $54, a product many older women say they wouldn't want to live without. Jones Road What the Foundation: I don't know that I'm legally allowed to talk about makeup for mature skin without mentioning Jones Road, a line that was specially designed with the needs of older women in mind. This particular product is a bit polarizing — it has the texture of a thicker balm or cream and takes a minute to blend. If you're willing to fiddle with it, the all-natural formula really does leave skin looking dewy and bright. Laura Geller powders and concealers: If you're attached to using a powder formula, Laura Geller is the best game in older-lady makeup town. Her powders are actually baked on terracotta tiles and have an oddly satisfying creamy texture that's not as drying as the powder compacts you used in your youth. While you're there, Geller's under-eye concealers are some of the best I've tried for covering over — and not sinking into — fine lines.

27 Ulta Products For Anyone Who Likes To Do Their Makeup On 'Easy Mode'

We hope you love our recommendations! Some may have been sent as samples, but all were independently selected by our editors. Just FYI, BuzzFeed and its publishing partners may collect a share of sales and/or other compensation from the links on this page. Multi-tasking beauty products to save you time, effort, and money. 1. Maybelline's 8-in-1 BB Cream with SPF 30 for quick and simple light coverage at a super affordable price. I use this most mornings for an easy everyday look, but it also makes a great buildable base when I (very rarely) decide to go all-out with my makeup. Ulta The formula is oil-free and helps to blurs imperfections, enhance, hydrate, brighten, smooth, and even skin tone. Promising reviews:"I use the light medium It gives a light coverage and applies easily. It doesn't get dry, crease, or oxidize in my experience. I love that it has SPF. For the price, it's comparable to much more expensive light coverage products." — Victoria "I was extremely impressed with this BB cream! It goes on very smooth and is buildable. I am 47 have a few fine lines wrinkles this does not crease sits beautifully on the skin. I use Laura Mercier or Fenty setting powder to set. Give me a beautiful glow. If you don't need full coverage foundation, this is definitely worth a try." — Penny 2. Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer since the smooth, creamy formula ensures vibrant, crease-free eye makeup that won't smudge, budge, or fade until your plans are well done for the night. In fact, some reviewers even wake up the next morning to discover their eye shadow looks totally untouched! 😱 Ulta Promising review:"I have tried other eye shadow primers and always prefer this one. Something about this magical potion allows your eyeshadow to never quit, give up, or move out on you! I love the Original, it's like magic because you only need to apply a little bit and it invisibly holds your eyeshadow in place. What's creasing? I have not experienced creasing in YEARS ever since I've used this product. In fact, I've experienced my eye looks to be totally in tact for 24+ hours when I've had a big night and "forgot" to remove my makeup. I always use this magic and am amazed by how long this product lasts. I am not sure when I'm going to run out..." — Ulta Customer 3. Plus, Benefit Cosmetics Super Setting Spray to make sure the rest of your makeup stays locked in place, remaining ~flawless~ for up to 16 hours even in extreme heat and humidity. In addition to the weightless feel, it blurs pores and gives a gentle, matte finish (love!). Promising review:"This is a good setting spray as it does minimize the appearance of your pores and gives you that blurring effect. I wanna say it is a dewy finish, but just add the powder after you've sprayed it and make sure it's dry so you have that matte finish. It also mists evenly so you don't have big drops on your face that can ruin your makeup!!" — Daniela 4. Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint combines makeup and skincare into one, and that'll definitely make getting ready easier. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide work together to even tone, while the SPF 40 tint (yes, it's sunscreen too!) provides a weightless, dewy finish. Ulta This is silicone free, fragrance free, oil free, noncomedogenic, and safe for sensitive skin. Note that on application, the shade may appear lighter but after 30–60 seconds, it'll adjust to its true color. Because it's silicone-free, natural separation may occur. This is normal and it'll be fixed when applied to skin. Plus, the bottle is recyclable! Learn how to here. Promising review:"GORGEOUS foundation. I have very sensitive and acne-prone skin and this foundation works wonders on my skin! It goes on so smoothly and does not irritate me at all!" — Jessica 5. DIBS Beauty's Desert Island Duo Stick if you want a single product that can glam up your face with color, whether it's rosy cheeks, tinted lips, or added warmth and dimension. This has a moisturizing blush on one end and a perfectly color-matched shade of bronzer on the other. How you choose to mix, match, and layer them is up to you, but you won't have to worry about switching between different products. Ulta 6. A Sacheu lip liner stain to give your lips powerful definition with minimal hassle. Simply trace your lips with the precision-tip applicator, let sit for 20 minutes, and then slowly peel off the film to reveal sharp, smudge-proof edges — and finish with your favorite lip gloss, of course! Plus! It's got hyaluronic acid and vitamin E to keep your lips moisturized underneath all that bold, pigmented color. Promising review:"Love this lip liner! I mainly use it as a liner rather than on my whole lip because I think it looks prettier that way. It doesn't take long to dry, and it's quite fun to peel off. I love the shade MUAH-ve, I'm like light-medium toned and it's a beautiful dark pink/brown shade." — Rachel 7. IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream provides luxurious full color-correcting coverage, masking acne scars, dark spots, and redness for a full 24 hours — but wait! That's not all! It's also an anti-aging serum *and* sunscreen with hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, niacinamide, and SPF 50+. Talk about multi-tasking! Ulta Promising review:"Cosmetics CC+ Cream Full-Coverage Foundation with SPF 50+ is truly amazing. I've used it cosmetics before and let me tell you the coverage of this foundation is unbelievable. You'll not be disappointed perfect shape match as well." — Stacey 8. Maybelline's Lash Sensational Sky High mascara infused with bamboo extract and fibers, because the name really says it all. Sensational sky-high lashes? Why, yes, please. Best of all, it only takes one coat to dramatically lengthen your lashes. Ulta Promising review: "I have tried all kinds of mascara and keep coming back to this one. It applies well, lasts all day and you can't beat the price." — Doelle 9. Or, E.l.f.'s Lash Xtndr Tubing Mascara since it comes off as easily as it goes on. The special tubing technology works by separating and lengthening each individual lash (with jojoba seed providing a bit of moisture at the same time) to give long, voluptuous lashes. This all makes it so that the mascara just kinda rolls off with soap and water. Watch on TikTok as one user goes from skeptic to believer! BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord considers herself a fan: "I am not a new human to the tubing mascara game, and in fact, I readily spent $26 on the famous OG blend from Blinc every time it needed replacing. I didn't even love it for the length half as much as the fact that tubing mascara like this genuinely never smudges, but can I just say — regardless of price, the E.l.f. tubing mascara formula blows all the others I've tried out of the water. It gives me way more length and volume than other brands, slides on so much more easily, stays put ALL day, and never, ever smudges. My favorite part, though, is how gently and easily it comes off with soap and water. In the past, other mascara removals have felt rough on my lashes, but this comes off so fast that I'm like ??? was I even wearing mascara a minute ago?? Anyway, I hesitate even writing this review because I want to gatekeep the hell out of this before it sells out, but the world needed to know. I'm a big fan of the brown shade (which is what I'm wearing above!), but it also comes in black and soft black." Promising review: "This does exactly what it's supposed to do! The wand does a great job lengthening and separating my lashes. I would rate this mascara higher than a lot of prestige brand mascaras I've used." — MonyO77 10. Aquaphor's Healing Stick, which is truly such an unexpected beauty hero. Think of it like a full-body chapstick — a few swipes over dry, chapped skin will instantly start the healing process with soothing avocado oil and shea butter. Plus, it locks in maximum moisture to prevent additional dryness, making it an all-natural primer too. Ulta Here's what BuzzFeed writer Jasmine Sandal says: "To prevent under-eye dryness throughout the day, the Aquaphor Healing Balm is my MVP. I use it as a priming base for either my tinted eye cream (when I'm going for a no-makeup day) or under my concealer. It gives my skin an instant glow and locks in moisture; it appears to blur lines better than if I were to go without it. I have noticed that my makeup doesn't crease as much when I use it, which is obviously a bonus, but I wouldn't say that it completely prevents cakey-ness. I'm always kicking myself if I forget to apply it, as my skin is noticeably less hydrated, so this will continue to be a mainstay in my routine." Promising reviews:"I'm on my third tube and just ordered another. This is great for lips and dry patches on the face. I also use this as a primer for my concealer. Great product!!" — Lainy "I rub this on my neck and wrists before applying perfume. Makes my fragrance last ALL DAY and project." — Msandy Price: $12.99 11. E.l.f.'s Poreless Putty Primer has taken TikTok by storm with its impressive ability to minimize pores until your skin looks smooth, flawless, and shine-free — and for such a low price, too! Ulta Check it out on TikTok! Promising review:"Of all the primers I have tried, cheap to expensive, this one is my favorite! It really does blur pores and fine lines. I use this on its own sometimes without makeup. Excellent product at the perfect price!" — Mandie Price: $10 12. A top-selling Beauty Blender sponge for seamless, streak-free makeup application and blending. The soft, latex-free sponge works wet or dry for foundations, powders, concealers, and the like with minimal product absorption, giving an "airbrushed" look. Ulta Promising review:"Love it. I don't often buy name brand "hyped" products but this is the one makeup applicator I am willing to splurge on. I use this to apply concealer so a soften bendable tool is essential in the sensitive area around my eyes. I've tried other brands more affordable options but keep coming back to this blender. It's easy to wash and lasts a long time. I am a loyal user and will repurchase again and again!" — oily goily 14. Winky Lux Flower Balm changes color based on the pH levels in your skin, giving you a gorg shade each and every time. No need to fret about matching your complexion thanks to this darling beaut. (And yes, it's a *real* flower hiding inside of there!) Promising review:"This flower lip balm is so beautiful and moisturizing! It adds hydration to your lips and makes them feel so smooth! After applying, you will notice your lips turning a pretty shade of pink. The shade depends on your pH balance. It adds a pretty flush of color while moisturizing your lips. Perfect for those no makeup-makeup days or to put on at night before bed. The real chrysanthemum floating in the clear balm is so cool and beautiful to look at!! I LOVE it and would highly recommend this flower lip balm!!" — Athena 15. Mighty Patch hydrocolloid pimple patches designed to suck out fluid and pus from pesky zits as you go about your day (or even as you sleep)! Simply pop on a patch, and then you can apply your makeup as normal, either quickly glossing over the patch's smooth surface or working around it. In a few hours, your pimple will be as good as gone! Melanie Aman, an editor on our Shopping team, tried these out and says:" These are hands down the best pimple patches I've ever used. Why? Because they actually work. I've tried some more cutesy patches that were great for Instagram photos but did nothing to shrink my breakouts. And the pimple patches that touted themselves as basically invisible were — but so were any results. While the Hero Cosmetics pimple patches are a little more visible (but really only noticeable if someone was standing really close to my face), the results are clear to see. (And JSYK, they also make an invisible version, but I have not tried it.) IMO they work best on whiteheads, drawing out the pus and preventing me from picking. Once all the fluids are drained (yum!), I plop a patch on what was once home to a very angry whitehead and replace it twice a day (once in the morning and once at night). In my experience, that has been the best treatment for preventing really noticeable hyperpigmentation and acne scarring, which my skin is really prone to after breakouts." Promising review: "I have a bad habit of picking at my face when it's broken out but these help me not do that and it sucks everything out overnight." — Em 16. A waterproof Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner that thousands of reviewers swear by for its ultra-smooth, long-lasting precision. Whatever your skill level, the felt-tip makes it easy to draw on crisp, smudge-free lines. Ulta Promising review:"This is my favorite liquid eyeliner (I've tried a couple of drugstore options, as well as the Too Faced eyeliner). This one isn't too wet and glides on perfectly. It is easy to make lines of any size with this product. Very easy to control! Only con is I wish that the product lasted longer." — Sophie 17. Or, a stamp eyeliner from Essence if you don't have the patience for outlining your own cat eye. Just press the stamp wing in the corner of your eye, then use the felt-tip side of the pen to fill it in. Ulta Promising review:"I love it. I don't know how to draw eyeliner, but this is so easy to draw with" — Aurora Price: $4.99 18. A pore-control cleansing oil if your easy mode setting also applies to removing your makeup. It'll gently disperse makeup, sunscreen, and oily build-up *while also* purifying your skin with heartleaf extract to give you that glowy glass skin look. Ulta Beauty Promising review: "This deep cleansing oil has done wonders for my skin!! After using this product, from the all-day moisture to the lack of pores, helped me develop more self-confidence!! I will forever recommend this product to anyone looking for a clarifying and glowing cleanser!!" — Jerimy Price: $20 19. Clinique Pop Lip + Cheek Oil in Black Honey so your cheeks can rock the same ~dewy glow~ as your lips. Reviewers say it's not sticky or goopy at all and dries evenly without sacrificing pigment or shine! Ulta Promising review:"Didn't know my cheeks needed this. I have never been a big fan of using lip oils in my cheeks but tried this and wow do I love it. It gives me a dewy glow that lasts all day without clogging pores or anything. My cheeks stay on the dry side and this has been a total game changer. It has become a must-have for my daily routine." — Mel 20. A long-lasting matte lip tint because it's an apply-once-and-done kind of lip product (my fave!). You can go sheer, light, or bold with it and even wear it on your cheeks — but rest assured that whatever you choose, it won't be transferring onto anything! Ulta Promising review: "This lip tint was super pretty and applied super well in one go! I wore it for about eight hours, and it lasted the entire day. It also has a decent flavor to it as well if you're someone who licks their lips a lot like I do." — Morgan 21. HueGuard 3-in-1 Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer Primer if you're all about combining your skincare with your makeup. This hydrates, primes, and helps protect skin from both UV and blue light rays, so you'll be covered at your desk *and* outside. "I've been writing about Live Tinted's products for some time and finally decided to snag some of their goodies for myself. Hueguard injects a literal ray of liquid sunshine into my daily regimen because, gold. And it really, truly, leaves zero white cast on my face — plus, there's no pilling, either! It blends seamlessly with my complexion, feels ultra-hydrating, and is the perfect base layer for makeup. (That's me above after a few hours of wear with Hueguard layered under some Kosas concealer and One/Size foundation and I've got to be honest — as someone who has had a few acne scars residing on their cheeks for some time and struggles with makeup application — I haven't seen my complexion look this smooth in a minute! AND my no-makeup-makeup look stayed put for hours!) I can't recommend Huegard enough if you're looking to try something new!" — Jasmin Sandal 22. Pür Silky Tint Creamy Multitasking Stick has a silky-smooth buttercream texture that melts into skin for a soft, natural-looking ✨radiant ✨ finish. Swipe it onto your cheeks, lips, forehead, or brow bone and then gently blend with your fingertips. Truly, getting an influencer-worthy flush is as simple as that! Ulta Promising review:"The Pur you go pearl multitasking stick is beautiful! The packaging makes it super easy to dispense the product and convenient to take on the go. The pearly color worked really well for my olive undertones. I use two methods for application, the first just my hands — I'll warm the product up on the back of my hand then apply using my fingers to the high points of my cheeks and nose. The second — If I want to get a more precise application I'll pick up the product up with a brush and apply to the inner corner of my eyes and brow bone. The product wears well and layers well both under and over powder. I'm interested to try the more pinky shade now! Highly recommend this!" — Jasmine 23. Lancôme Dual Finish Multi-Tasking Lightweight Pressed Powder Foundation kinda does it all, at least in terms of complexion. You can use it as a makeup setting powder, shine reducer, and a liquid foundation *plus* for spot coverage with the included puff. Probably a good idea to keep this one in the purse, just saying. Ulta Promising review:"A staple, multitasking product of mine! I've tried many high- end foundations and always come back to this one. I love that I can use it as a finishing powder when my contour is too prominent and I want to even out the color. I use it when I want to take away some shine after my makeup or throughout the day. I also apply it as a medium coverage foundation, using the sponge it comes with for a super easy application and finish. I've worn this all day, serving in a restaurant, and it still looks great at the end of the night. Though I've evolved my makeup routine, this product will stay with me." — D 24. A liquid eyeshadow here to deliver bold, powerful pigment in just a single swipe. Literally, a single pass is all it takes for a full look (and one that will last all day long, I should add). Ulta This also works as a buildable eyeshadow base, too. Promising review: "I just have to brag about this product. I have always applied eyeshadow by starting with concealer as a base, setting with powder, then eyeshadow. I broke my dominant arm a while back, and blending became very difficult for me. I had never used liquid shadow before because I assumed it would be difficult to work with — messy, sticky, tacky, etc. This product gave me the ability to do eyeshadow again while I had very limited mobility. I swear, you barely have to manipulate it for it to blend seamlessly. Anyone with any skill level can make this product blend into the skin flawlessly. It doesn't dry too quickly, but once it does, it is totally dry and doesn't leave tackiness. While I was struggling badly with my limited mobility, this product allowed me to do my makeup again and feel like myself with very little effort, which was all I could give at the time. I am so grateful I had this product during one of the hardest times of my life. I was very dependent on others for almost every other thing I had to do, but with this product, doing my makeup was something I was capable of, and it made my healing journey more bearable." — carleyc 25. St. Tropez Luxe Body Serum so you can give your ghostly white skin a golden, sun-kissed glow while also hydrating, firming, smoothing, and reducing redness. Plus, it doesn't have to be rinsed off either, which means no risk of the dreaded fake tan streaks. Ulta Promising review:"This is the best self-tanning impulse buy I've made in a long time! It gives me a "I spent the weekend at the beach" tan-not dramatic, but definitely noticeable and very glowy. The smell is overall pleasant and has minimal "self-tanning" smell. It is easy to apply and blends well with a mitt." — Melly 26. A Nudestix Cream Concealer for quickly covering up zits, redness, under-eye bags, and other spots in need of TLC. The formula is lightweight, buildable, and infused with skin-loving ingredients, like sweet berry, Articum Lappa root extract, and hyaluronic acid. Ulta Promising review:"This is ITTTTT when you're looking for undereye circle coverage. It's smooth and lightweight but it covers the eye baggage! I hate when concealers feel thick, like an extra layer that can easily be moved around the eye area. This sets well and truly covers the intense dark circles I get all of the time!" — Goose Price: $29 (available in 12 shades) 27. Olehenriksen's Pout Preserve Hydrating Peptide Lip Treatment intensely moisturizes lips with a peptide-rich formula, making them full, bouncy, and oh-so-kissable. This works great in place of lip balm or lip gloss, but you can also apply it on top of your favorite lip color for an added boost of hydration and shine. Ulta Promising review:"After using I saw significant improvement in my lip hydration and texture. The orange flavor is fresh and fun. I look forward to using this every morning when I do my skincare!" — Cherryglam Price: $22 (available in eight shades) Reviews have been edited for length and/or clarity.

Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Blending skin care ingredients with a pigmented formula, the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint provides a natural finish while still giving ample coverage. The best part is that my skin never gets irritated by its combo of moisturizing squalane, brightening niacinamide and hydrating hyaluronic acid. Tower 28 Beauty GetSet Blur and Set Pressed Setting Powder Sensitive skin types, rejoice! Catering toward those with eczema and the like, Tower 28 Beauty makes some of my favorite sensitive-skin-friendly products, including this pressed powder for dabbing away shine and setting makeup sans talc. Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Blush One dab of Rare Beauty's liquid blush goes the distance. It delivers a pigmented flush that has cemented itself as a staple for the brand. I gravitate toward the pinky shade, Happy, for cherubic cheeks and the red hue, Grateful, for a fresh flush. Eadem Le Chouchou Peptide Lip Balm Soften chapped lips while swiping on a layer of fresh pigment with Eadem's peptide lip balm. It spans stunning '90s-inspired shades of berry and brown hues. Caliray Sundrip Luminous Liquid Bronzer Bronzing drops give pale skin a fresh glow. Formulated with peptides and hyaluronic acid, Caliray's luminous bronzer has a serum-like texture that Underscored's beauty editor, Sophie Shaw, said blends easily. Kiehl's Ultra Body Mega-Moisture Squalane Cream Loaded with skin-barrier-repairing ceramides and moisturizing squalane, the latest body cream from Kiehl's aims to hydrate all year long. It's an extension of my personal favorite, the Ultra Facial Cream. Fresh Soy Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser Touting a mild soy-based formula, this Fresh cleanser earns many nods from beauty shoppers across normal, dry, combination and oily skin types. It adopts a refreshing gel-like formula loaded with calming cucumber extract and soothing aloe vera. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Impressing our experts in Underscored's evaluations for face moisturizers, the First Aid Beauty cream feels soothing on sensitive skin types. It taps a calming combo of shea butter, colloidal oatmeal and allantoin. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask That's right: Sephora members can snag a deal on the ever-popular Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Swipe it on before bedtime as murumuru seed and shea butter work their magic to leave you with moisturized lips in the our review Hanni Splash Salve In-Shower Body Moisture Treatment My psoriasis-plagued sister put me onto this shower lotion, and I've been obsessed with its creamy texture and yummy coconut smell ever since. Think of it as a conditioner for your body, leaving soft, supple skin in its wake. Gucci Flora Gardenia Eau de Parfum Adopting an alluring combination of pear, white gardenia and brown sugar, the Gucci Flora Gardenia fragrance has made me a floral perfume believer. It's become my everyday perfume because it's not too overpowering. Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau de Parfum I've sprayed my YSL Black Opium down to its last drop, so I'll most definitely be replenishing my supply during the Sephora Savings Event. Coffee and vanilla notes lend the perfume a warm scent profile, perfectly suited for date nights. Jo Malone London Peony and Blush Suede Cologne Known for its timeless, elegant fragrances, Jo Malone makes some of our favorite perfumes for women. Those who prefer more feminine fragrances can opt for this scent oft compared to a fresh bouquet of flowers. Spray the signature vanilla-infused scent onto hair, skin and clothing. Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club Eau de Toilette Nothing screams romantic dinners quite like the Jazz Club scent from Maison Margiela. Its warm, woody notes made quite an impression on one of our editors. Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray Anti-Frizz Treatment Spritz on the Color Wow Dream Coat and run heat over it to activate its frizz-fighting formula. I prime my hair with the spray before I straighten it for a sleeker finish. K18 Mini Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask Buzzy yet effective, the K18 hair mask helps repair damaged hair, per Underscored staffers. The only downside to this leave-in treatment is its lofty price. Thankfully, the Sephora Savings Event knocks it down by 20%. Gisou Wildflower Honey Infused Hair Perfume Considered a holy-grail hair oil, the frizz-fighting Gisou Honey Gloss frequently goes in and out of stock because of how viral it's been on TikTok. It's now bundled with a watermelon-scented lip oil and sweet-smelling hair perfume for up to 20% off. Ouai Detox Shampoo Press "reset" on your hair by lathering up with the Ouai Detox Shampoo. Based on personal experience, the apple cider vinegar-based formula helps cleanse dirt, oil and buildup from the scalp. I reach for it every few washes as a clarifying shampoo, while other staffers love it for dandruff. Dr. Dennis Gross DRx SpectraLite FaceWare Pro Certainly a plunge at its retail price, this Dr. Dennis Gross LED device just got more accessible for those eyeing the penultimate red light therapy mask. I wear mine every night and swear by its red and blue light settings for taming my eczema flare-ups and minimizing breakouts. Canopy Handheld Filtered Shower Head A notable con was its price, but that qualm is nixed during the Sephora Savings Event. Snag this top-tested shower head from Canopy for a luxe-filtered shower experience bolstered by a built-in scalp massager. T3 Aire 360 Ceramic Air Styler Blowout Kit Rivaling other multi-stylers on the market, the T3 Aire 360 impressed me with its handy attachments that help speed up blowouts. I appreciate its circular concentrator because it dries large areas of hair faster. It fits the contours of my cheeks in an oddly perfect way for a near-flawless application. It costs nothing to save! Sephora's Beauty Insider program is free to join, and all Beauty Insider members will receive free shipping and free returns on all orders, with no minimum spend required. It's well worth it because you get exclusive access to sales like these, and every purchase earns you points to unlock free products, like Sephora employee favorites, and level you up to the next tier. I also love that you get an eligible birthday gift of your choice. It's introduced me to brands I've been meaning to try, like Milk Makeup, Ouai and more. Inspired by the changing seasons, Sephora rewarded its most loyal shoppers with tiered discounts on pages upon pages of beauty products. The semi-annual sale marks the perfect opportunity to revamp your spring makeup and skin care routines, ditching the heavy creams and moody hues. Savings span the entire site — yep, that includes tried-and-true brands like Tatcha, Dyson and beyond, which aren't typically discounted during regular sales. Meanwhile, fans of the Sephora Collection can take 30% off the collection. Just remember that the sale only comes twice a year, and it's your first chance to score. Your next opportunity won't come around until November. Major savings events like these are enough to confound even the most seasoned shoppers. So, armed with years of experience testing and reviewing beauty products, paired with expertise covering sales on said picks, I curated a list of only the best makeup, skin care, hair care and beauty tool deals for your wallet, mostly including those that other Underscored editors and I buy ourselves.
