MAFS star Jacqui Burfoot slams airline in wild rant after misunderstanding over missing jacket

Married At First Sight star Jacqui Burfoot has shared a rant at an Australian airline after a recent holiday with fiance and fellowMAFS star, Clint Rice. The controversial bride went on a wild rant following their flight, saying they should have known better for flying with a 'budget' airline. But it seems Jacqui's grievances were all down to a simple misunderstanding that has since been resolved in two phone calls. 'Clint and I flew Jetstar. We never pick Jetstar, we are not fans of Jetstar because they're just budget. They do things poorly,' she began in a TikTok video. In the clip, she explained how she felt cold on the flight so she draped Clint's Hugo Boss jacket over her legs – a pricey designer piece she claims cost 'somewhere between $400 and $800'. But a flight attendant soon offered to store the jacket for the duration of the flight, and forgot to give it back when they landed. It wasn't until she and Clint got to their hotel that she realised the jacket was missing. The enraged star then called Jetstar customer service to report the garment missing, but what she was told only further infuriated her. 'The guy was like, 'There was no lost property handed in today – we're going to file a case for you,'' she shared. 'I was like, 'F**k off. If the cabin crew have f***ing nicked that jacket... I am not happy about this at all. I am fuming right now.' In a happy twist of fate, Jacqui revealed the next day that the jacket had been accounted for with Jetstar calling Clint to deliver the good news. 'Jetstar called. They have got the jacket in their hands at Sydney Airport and they're going to deliver it tonight,' Clint said in a new TikTok video shared by Jacqui. 'They were so good, they were actually brilliant. The customer service was amazing, they called me twice today.' Jacqui then admitted she may have jumped the gun, but she was ultimately happy everything had been resolved. 'The best news is that they said that because they recognised that they knew our names, they didn't put it with the usual lost property. They put it in the manager's office,' she said in the follow-up video. 'I guess I was quick to judge. The jacket is still not returned yet, though.' However, throughout the whole ordeal, Jacqui did not receive much sympathy from her Instagram followers, with many slamming her for suggesting the cabin crew stole Clint's jacket. 'As a former cabin crew, the likelihood of the crew taking the jacket is very, very slim,' one commented. 'There's no way any crew could get away with something like that. It's more likely it's been passed on to ground crew and just lost in the mix.' 'Girl, it's your fault, you should've asked for it once landed. Proves it's not that important if you forgot. if you fly often, you know it's a safety thing!!' another wrote. Yet another commented: 'I get the disappointment, but I feel like it's not that much of a big deal to be honest. Accidents happen.' Jacqui and Clint are arguably this year's most controversial MAFS stars. The couple were in a different pairing on the show – Jacqui was paired with Ryan Donnelly and Clint was paired with Lauren Hall. But shortly after filming, Jacqui and Clint embarked on a relationship with each other, and by the time the public got up to speed with their relationship, they were already shacking up in Clint's multi-milliondollar mansion in Tasmania.

Jacqui Burfoot has been slammed for accusing Jetsta r of stealing her partner Clint Rice's jacket. The Married At First Sight star took to TikTok this week to recount an ordeal while flying with the budget airline. She wasted no time letting her thoughts about Jetstar be known – telling followers from the start she was not a fan. 'Clint and I flew Jetstar. We never pick Jetstar, we are not fans of Jetstar because they're just budget. They do things poorly,' Jacqui said. Jacqui went on to explain that when she and Clint recently caught a flight with the airline, she was wearing her partner's Hugo Boss jacket, worth 'somewhere between $400 and $800', to keep her legs warm. 'The flight attendant came over and said, "Hey, we need to put your jacket away, can I please take that jacket from you?" And I was like, "Yeah, sure. Fine,"' she recalled. The reality bride said the couple forgot about Clint's jacket until they arrived at their hotel. 'We get off the flight, we leave with our bags, we check into our hotel and Clint is like, "F***! Where is my jacket?" And I'm like, "Oh my God, babe. The lady took it off me."' Already miffed about leaving the jacket behind, Jacqui became enraged when she called Jetstar to report the garment missing. 'The guy was like, "There was no lost property handed in today – we're going to file a case for you."' This did not sit well with Jacqui, who then accused the cabin crew of taking off with Clint's jacket. 'I was like, "f*** off. If the cabin crew have f***ing nicked that jacket, I am going to blow my brains out. I am not happy about this at all,"' she said. 'I am fuming right now. I am like, "No f***ing way. You hand that jacket in right now." God help you Jetstar, if this jacket is not returned.' Jacqui's rant drew a flurry of comments from followers, with many slamming the reality star for suggesting the airline would pilfer the article of clothing. 'As a former cabin crew, the likelihood of the crew taking the jacket is very, very slim,' one commented. 'There's no way any crew could get away with something like that. It's more likely it's been passed on to ground crew and just lost in the mix.' Another offered: 'Girl, it's your fault, you should've asked for it once landed. Proves it's not that important if you forgot. if you fly often, you know it's a safety thing!!' A third commented: 'I get the disappointment, but I feel like it's not that much of a big deal to be honest. Accidents happen.' Yet another summed up the sentiment of many with: 'Your jacket, your problem.' Jacqui returned to TikTok the following day to share a shock twist in the mile-high ordeal. This time, Clint also featured in the clip, and he was happy to report the jacket had been found. 'Jetstar called. They have got the jacket in their hands at Sydney Airport and they're going to deliver it tonight,' he said. Unlike his partner's previous spray, Clint was full of praise for Jetstar's customer service. 'They were so good, they were actually brilliant,' he said. 'The customer service was amazing , they called me twice today.' Jacqui added the reason for the delay in locating the jacket was due to the couple's high profile. 'The best news is that they said that because they recognised that they knew our names, they didn't put it with the usual lost property. They put it in the manager's office,' she said. 'I guess I was quick to judge. The jacket is still not returned yet, though.'

Married At First Sight star Jacqui Burfoot reveals truth behind THAT 'bodyguard' who accompanied her to court showdown after her ex Ryan Donnelly filed for an AVO

Former Married At First Sight bride Jacqui Burfoot made headlines on Tuesday when she appeared in Campbelltown Local Court to face her former TV husband Ryan Donnelly accompanied by a bodyguard. Now, the reality star has shed light on the true story behind the hired protection, revealing not all is as it seems. Jacqui took to Instagram on Thursday to share a clip of her and her fiancé Clint Rice, who also appeared on the hit dating show, along with an explanation. 'Look guys, we needed a lift to Campbelltown (an hour south west of Sydney), from Double Bay, in a nice car (or we would have been trolled to death and bullied online - people are horrible),' the 30-year-old wrote in an Instagram story. 'The Uber was going to cost $300.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'So we accepted a nice ride with an awesome friend who (in another life doubles as a body guard) and doesn't mind the media attention - easy decision,' she finished the post. In another post, Jacqui referred to the driver as Mo, saying he was 'a legend' for driving them back and forth on Tuesday. 'Fair to say there was no trouble today,' she added as she posed with the driver. This week, Jacqui appeared at Campbelltown Local Court after her former TV groom Ryan applied for an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) against her. This was the first time Burfoot came face-to-face with Donnelly since filming for MAFS wrapped in November last year. She did not say anything to reporters about the allegations outside court after the matter was adjourned. Her barrister, Marcia Edwards, said it would be prejudicial for her to speak. Donnelly's lawyer, Daniel Wakim, later said his client still sought protection and he would talk with Burfoot's lawyers about resolving the matter. 'We're yet to see what the respondent has to put on in relation to my client's fears,' he said. Donnelly told reporters he had found it very difficult emotionally, claiming his former screen wife posted about him 'almost incessantly'. He said he had never thought his on-screen marriage would turn out this way. 'It wasn't the adventure I had planned,' he told reporters. 'I wanted to have this amazing chapter of my life and have a comfortable circle, and leave amicably and as friends.' The matter will return to court on July 29.
