He's only up the road, can't have him too far. "I've told him I want you to invite us for dinner.' And he's already got a warning for his son: 'He's good at cooking. He's learned a few dishes. But he's on repeat. "He keeps repeating the same dishes. I'm like, 'bro, you've got to work on some new recipes…' Proud Pete, who was chatting to The Sun as he promoted his new film Jafaican, added: 'But yeah, he's a good boy. They're both... they're all good kids.' Junior and Jasmine, who started dating in April of last year, might be ready to move in together, but marriage isn't on the cards just yet. When asked about if wedding bells were in the near or distant future, Junior laughed: "Well, that's looking a bit too far ahead! Easy there.' Junior added to OK!: "We're young and not putting any pressure on ourselves, that's all that matters. "We want to travel and do amazing things. "But we're with each other, aren't we? I don't think we'd be with each other if we didn't feel like we'd found the right person," he went on. Peter Andre turns back time with Mysterious Girl move - 3 decades since hit
Peter Andre says he's bringing back a 'Mysterious Girl vibe' to 2025 with the release of a brand new hit, with the singer pulling out some moves very similar to the ones on the 90s track. Peter Andre has revealed he has a new song, Island Girl, being released this summer - and it is very similar to his hit 1996 track, Mysterious Girl. Bringing back the popular song after three decades, but in a brand new form, 52-year-old Peter says he's dusting off some of his old dance moves to go alongside the release. Writing in his weekly New! Magazine column, Peter said: "My new song, Island Girl, is coming out this summer and I'm getting very excited about it. I had so much fun writing it and working with the brilliant Lady Leshurr. "We're bringing a Mysterious Girl vibe to 2025. The kids love it – so that's a win for me already," said Peter, who is dad to Junior and Princess from his marriage to Katie Price and Theo, Amelia and Arabella, who he shares with wife Emily Macdonough. Urging fans to get involved in the new release and the corresponding dance moves, Peter said: "In the meantime, we're asking people to show us their Island Girl dance. Upload on Instagram and tag me, so I can repost." Alongside his music career, which Peter has kept going on and off since his '90s fame, the star has also gone down the route of acting and recently had a new movie released, Jafaican. Launching at the Gold Coast Film Festival in Australia earlier this year, the film follows the character Gary Buckle - played by Peter - who decides to impersonate a Jamaican gangster in order to steal his money to pay for his own grandmother's care home fees. Peter stars alongside the likes of Wil Johnson, Jamie Lomas and Oliver Samuels in the film. However, it's been a controversial reception for Peter as the film's trailer was met with a backlash, including over footage of cast member Peter wearing a dreadlock wig and putting on an accent. Some viewers suggested that the film was "gross" and "mocking Jamaican culture". Others instead appeared to find the film's trailer amusing at the time. When asked in an interview about the mixed feedback surrounding the film, Peter responded: "Well, to be fair, I mean, I think it's good to get all sorts of feedback. I mean, this is not ... it's my first lead role but I've done quite a few roles before. And all of them, I've played different characters." He continued: "So for me, it's acting - I get to do something light-hearted, something funny. Something that y'know is the kind of film I'd wanna watch. So it's almost like a little bit self-indulgent in the sense that I get to do something that I've really, really wanted to do."

Peter Andre, 52, reveals downside to age gap relationship with wife Emily, 35
Peter Andre has defended the 16-year age gap in his relationship with wife Emily MacDonagh – but one incident that showed their generational gap still makes them laugh. The musician and TV star, 52, married doctor Emily, 35, in 2015, soon after welcoming children Amelia, 11, Theo, nine, and one-year-old Arabella. Peter also has two children, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with former wife Katie Price. Peter and Emily have experienced some backlash against their 16-year age gap, which the I'm A Celebrity contestant defended in a new interview. In his column for New! magazine, Peter discussed Stephen Fry, 67, speaking about the age gap in his marriage with Elliott Spencer, 38, and how Peter and Emily's age difference 'works' for them. 'It all depends on the relationship, how the partners are with each other, and how they view things, I think. There's a 16-year gap between me and Emily, and it really works for us,' he wrote. However, he did muse over one incident where their generational gap was very noticeable. 'There's one thing we do laugh about, though… We were at the Pride of Britain awards one year and Jon Bon Jovi came over to chat. I've met him many times over the years and he's a lovely person,' he continued. After the introduction, Peter was shocked to discover Emily had no idea who the legendary rock star was, asking her husband 'What's a Bon Jovi?' 'We laughed about that a lot afterwards! It's in those moments we may realise the age gap – usually with music and films – but in general, we love the same things. I think it's what works for you in a relationship. Who are we to judge?' he said. Peter, who is currently on screens in controversial thriller comedy Jafaican, met Emily in 2012, with them tying the knot three years later. He previously discussed not opting for a pre-nuptial agreement before tying the knot, saying: 'I think it does depend on upbringing. So some cultures think that you should always keep your own money, some think you should all be together. 'But as you grow older, you start to figure it out yourself. I know with Emily at the start I had different views to what I've got now. I mean, we don't have a prenup. We've got children together.' More Trending Last year, Peter said he and Emily were 'pretty sure' Arabella would be their last child, with the singer speaking out numerous times about the prospect of having a vasectomy. 'I appeared on Loose Women last week to promote the Frankie Valli tour and one of the topics we discussed is whether a man should get a vasectomy,' he wrote back in February. 'Having children is a big decision. We frequently expect the woman to have to find a way and take measures not to become pregnant, but actually I realise that us men have a responsibility too. 'The problem is, like many, I'm a bit scared of having that kind of procedure. I know, call me a wimp. Who knows? Never say never, I guess.' Got a story? Peter Andre shows off new hairstyle as Junior gives opinion of dad's new look
Peter Andre took to social media to show off his latest new look and was met with a huge wave of praise by fans - including his oldest son, Junior, 19 Peter Andre surprised fans with a new trim haircut. The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, stunned with his new look, with son Junior among those praising his switch-up. The dad-of-five is best known for keeping his wavy hair combed up recently - following his iconic curtains style when he burst onto the scene in the '90s. However, he showed off his new curly offering, much to the delight of his Instagram followers. Sharing the portrait headshot to his social media channel, the star was seen smiling as he donned his curly cut, with a few strands dropping down on his forehead. He asked his followers in the caption of the upload: "Embrace the curl?" Praising his dad, Junior, 19, gushed: "My dad's a handsome guy man. Levendis!!" He added a crying with laughter emoji as well as a love heart. Pete's fans were also clearly loving the look. Another wrote: "Yes ... and the suggestion of silver grey ... it suits you," while a second added: "Love you with curls Peter," alongside a flame and fire emoji. A third jokingly penned: "MYSTERIOUS CURLS!!!!," and a fourth said: "Plot twist: the curl embraced you." While Junior was fully supportive of his dad, the Australian singer showed the close-knit ties of his family as he praised his daughter Princess' huge career move. Pete shares his two eldest kids with ex-wife Katie Price. Now, their 17-year-old daughter is set to get her own taste of fame as she will be the centre of a fly-on-the-wall show. And dad Peter couldn't be more proud. Speaking to the Mirror last month, Peter beamed: "We've been filming for Princess's new reality show and it's been great fun for us all. Obviously, as a family we're no strangers to reality TV - but I'm so proud of what Princess is doing now. I think people are going to really enjoy seeing it. "There's a few surprises in there, too, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so you'll have to watch it when it comes out - sorry!" And the family also rallied around Peter when his latest movie was criticised. Peter's s film role on Jafaican sparked fierce debate online, with critics accusing it of cultural insensitivity - while he defends it as just 'acting' The family were seen at the Genesis Cinema for the private VIP event of the movie's release and posed for photographs ahead of the much-discussed film's debut. In the film, Peter plays a character named Gary Buckle - also known as 'Gazza' . The character is a London scammer who adopts a Jamaican identity to pull off a transatlantic fraud.

Peter Andre beams with pride as daughter Princess takes major career step
Peter Andre opened up about what's going on in his life at the moment - from proud father to controversial film and sobriety. Proud dad Peter Andre is no stranger to reality TV shows, and now the spotlight is turning to his daughter Princess as the family supports her new venture into the world of reality television. The 17 year old is set to experience her own taste of fame as she will be the star of a new fly-on-the-wall show. Princess has already been following in the footsteps of her famous parents, Katie Price and Peter Andre, as she has already spent the past two years working with brands - but now she is stepping further into the spotlight with a behind the scenes look at her life in her new documentary style program. Meanwhile, the dad of six has shared his thoughts on the recent ITV shows shake up calling it a "sad sign of the times" after it was reported that viewers will see massive changes to the daytime schedule, the Mirror reports. Here's what Peter had to say... Proud dad alert "We've been filming for Princess's new reality show and it's been great fun for us all. Obviously, as a family we're no strangers to reality TV - but I'm so proud of what Princess is doing now. I think people are going to really enjoy seeing it. "There's a few surprises in there, too, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so you'll have to watch it when it comes out - sorry!" Red carpet anger "I see the Denzel Washington incident on the Cannes red carpet, when he had a tense exchange with a photographer, has gone viral. We don't know what was said, or what triggered him - it looked like someone was maybe pulling on his arm? And sometimes you can't control yourself, when you're triggered. "I don't think I've ever lost my temper on a red carpet - but I'm not as popular as Denzel so I don't think people would be pulling me like that! I know one thing for sure, though, I've seen Training Day and The Equalizer and I wouldn't want to mess with Denzel." ITV shake up "There's been a huge shakeup at ITV, which I think is just a sad sign of the times, really. There's big changes every couple of years with formats and schedules because things are so fast-paced in the TV industry. "I think viewers are also less patient, so they might be watching shorter clips and shorter shows, and that has an effect. I love the likes of Loose Women and Lorraine, so long may they continue, as far as I'm concerned." Sobriety "Olly Murs revealed he's tee-total when he's touring, and I totally respect him for that. Once upon a time, live music was all about the party scene, all very rock 'n' roll. But I've met some absolute rock legends who are now tee-total - as am I. I used to love drinking loads of tequila and getting smashed after a concert back in the nineties, but times have changed. Now I'll have an espresso before I go on stage. Then I head home to bed, afterwards!" Screening controversy "The screening for Jafaican was in London last week and there was a huge turnout. Now that people have seen it, we've received a few apologies for some of the things that have been written about it, because now that people have seen it, they've realised it wasn't in any way racist. It's actually funny and heartfelt. Hopefully, now that people can watch the full film and make up their own minds, we can put an end to the controversy."
