Peter Andre shows off new hairstyle as Junior gives opinion of dad's new look
Peter Andre surprised fans with a new trim haircut. The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, stunned with his new look, with son Junior among those praising his switch-up.
The dad-of-five is best known for keeping his wavy hair combed up recently - following his iconic curtains style when he burst onto the scene in the '90s. However, he showed off his new curly offering, much to the delight of his Instagram followers.
Sharing the portrait headshot to his social media channel, the star was seen smiling as he donned his curly cut, with a few strands dropping down on his forehead. He asked his followers in the caption of the upload: "Embrace the curl?"
Praising his dad, Junior, 19, gushed: "My dad's a handsome guy man. Levendis!!" He added a crying with laughter emoji as well as a love heart.
Pete's fans were also clearly loving the look. Another wrote: "Yes ... and the suggestion of silver grey ... it suits you," while a second added: "Love you with curls Peter," alongside a flame and fire emoji.
A third jokingly penned: "MYSTERIOUS CURLS!!!!," and a fourth said: "Plot twist: the curl embraced you."
While Junior was fully supportive of his dad, the Australian singer showed the close-knit ties of his family as he praised his daughter Princess' huge career move. Pete shares his two eldest kids with ex-wife Katie Price.
Now, their 17-year-old daughter is set to get her own taste of fame as she will be the centre of a fly-on-the-wall show. And dad Peter couldn't be more proud.
Speaking to the Mirror last month, Peter beamed: "We've been filming for Princess's new reality show and it's been great fun for us all. Obviously, as a family we're no strangers to reality TV - but I'm so proud of what Princess is doing now. I think people are going to really enjoy seeing it.
"There's a few surprises in there, too, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so you'll have to watch it when it comes out - sorry!"
And the family also rallied around Peter when his latest movie was criticised. Peter's s film role on Jafaican sparked fierce debate online, with critics accusing it of cultural insensitivity - while he defends it as just 'acting'
The family were seen at the Genesis Cinema for the private VIP event of the movie's release and posed for photographs ahead of the much-discussed film's debut. In the film, Peter plays a character named Gary Buckle - also known as 'Gazza' .
The character is a London scammer who adopts a Jamaican identity to pull off a transatlantic fraud.

WNBA star sends crude sexual message to her glamorous rival on orange carpet before All-Star party
WNBA star Courtney Williams has come under fire after making a crude sexual joke towards one of her league rivals at the All-Star party. On Thursday night, the league's biggest names - including the likes of Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese - gathered for the start of the two-day event in Indianapolis. As the festivities got under way, WNBA duo Williams and Natisha Hiedeman began live streaming from their joint channel 'StudBudz'. As they were on the orange carpet in Indianapolis, Minnesota Lynx star Williams spotted WNBA rival Gabby Williams making her way into the event. Lynx star Williams declared that she was keen to speak with the Seattle Storm forward and said: 'I've got to let her know [that] she looks good'. Eventually, Lynx star Williams went over to the American-French forward and reeled off a list of compliments before saying: 'If it don't work out, call me fine s***'. GABBY ON STUDBUDZ 😁😁😁 — sriya (@pussitionz) July 17, 2025 It appeared that Lynx star Williams was making reference to the rumors that Storm forward Williams is dating fellow WNBA star Marine Johannes. Neither player has confirmed nor denied the claims. However, back in May, Johannes' New York Liberty teammate Jonquel Jones seemingly confirmed the two players' sexuality and hinted at a relationship. An Instagram account The Fruit Slice shared a thread regarding the openly gay players in the WNBA. Jones replied to it: 'A yall missing some of our points! How Gabby on the list but not Marine..? Jaylyn Sherrod? Leo is as well. We number 1 and also we have a 4 out starting 5'. Fans were quick to point out that Johannes hadn't publicly come out. Jones then said: 'I thought they was out lmao my badddd'. Meanwhile, Minnesota Lynx star Williams was previously dating N'Shya Seigle and the couple shared an engagement announcement back in November. However, the post has since been deleted and, during a recent StudBudz stream, she confirmed that she is now single. Elsewhere on the night, Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark was spotted enjoying a wild night out as she toasted the beginning of the WNBA's All-Star weekend in style. The 23-year-old welcomed the biggest names in the WNBA to Indianapolis this week as she prepares to captain one of the teams for Saturday's All-Star game, despite no longer being able to take to the court. And while Clark appeared bright and breezy during an appearance on Good Morning America Friday morning, she had certainly been enjoying herself the night before when she and her peers descended on Indianapolis nightclub, INVY, for the All Star Champagne Launch Party. In several videos shared to social media, the guard could be seen bopping along to the music with a drink in hand. At one point, Clark had found her way behind the DJ booth with her arm wrapped around the emcee. When he thrust the microphone in her face and asked if she was 'ready to turn up' Clark let out shout of 'woo' and hoisted her can, which appeared to be a hard seltzer, into the air.

Kneecap's Glasgow Hydro gig sells out as rap trio headline their biggest Scottish show yet
In a jibe to First Minister John Swinney, the band said "A very special thank you to our Head of PR in Scotland Mr John Swinney... best in the business". Kneecap is set to make a return to Glasgow this winter as part of their "biggest run of shows ever" with tickets selling out shortly after going on sale. The Belfast based rap trio - Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí - will perform 14 shows across Scotland, England and Wales later this year. The tour includes a headline performances at Glasgow's OVO Hydro on November 30, 2025, marking the groups biggest show in Glasgow to date. Originally slated to play 11 shows, the group extended the tour by adding three additional dates in Leeds, Sheffield, and Manchester after pre-sale tickets sold out almost immediately due to overwhelming demand. And now it appears the gig has sold out. Taking to Instagram, Kneecap's official account wrote: "Glasgow SOLD OUT in a few hours. 13,000 Scottish F****** comrades... let's go!" In a jibe to First Minister John Swinney, they added: "A very special thank you to our Head of PR in Scotland Mr John Swinney... best in the business". Swinney played down his beef with Kneecap after he was called out by the Irish rappers at a gig in Glasgow earlier this month. The SNP leader previously warned some of the group's political sloganeering was "beyond the pale". The group hit back during their O2 Academy show on July 8, with Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, who performs under the name Mo Chara asking the crowd: " What's your First Minister's name?" "They stopped us playing TRNSMT but they can't stop us playing Glasgow." Taking to Instagram to initially announce the tour, Kneecap's official account wrote: "Here we go. We're back in November across Scotland, England and Wales to play our biggest run of shows ever. "The Prime Minister himself cant stop could stop sending bombs to Israel but that's another story..." Alongside their tour poster - which shows the trio in a bright green car emblazoned with the phrase "Irish Independence Traders" - the band also made a nod to their political stance. The car's number plate reads "26+6=1," a well-known slogan advocating for a united Ireland, referring to the 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland and the 6 counties of Northern Ireland coming together as one. Their winter tour follows controversy earlier this year when Kneecap were originally headlining the King Tut's stage at TRNSMT 2025 but were dropped from the line-up in May after Police Scotland raised public safety concerns. At the time, a Police Scotland spokesperson stated: "Any decision on the line-up at TRNSMT is for the organisers, and there was no prior consultation with Police Scotland before acts were booked. "Officers have highlighted that the potential reaction of such a large audience to this band would require a significant policing operation in order to support the delivery of a safe event. "We have also passed on information from the public around safety concerns to allow organisers to make an informed decision on the running of the festival." Following their removal, Kneecap instead played a sold-out show at Glasgow's O2 Academy on Tuesday, July 8 - the week of the festival - insisting they wouldn't let fans down. Over 2,500 tickets were snapped up in just 80 seconds. Now, the trio is scaling up, preparing for their biggest Scottish show yet at the 14,000-capacity OVO Hydro.

Adam Hills not hiding passionate love for rugby league
There aren't many people more enthusiastic about something than Adam Hills is about rugby league: he absolutely loves it. The Australian comic, known for hosting late-night talk and sketch show The Last Leg, makes no attempt to hide his passion for the 13-player code either. After all, the 55-year-old was adorned in Australia's rugby league kit from the 2017 Rugby League World Cup on a traditional London bus kitted out to mark 100 days to go until the return of the ABK Beer Ashes. It will mark a revival of one of rugby league's most iconic series which last happened in 2003 when Australia toured the UK to play Great Britain. 😆 A new cover photo! 🏴 #EnglandRL — England Rugby League (@England_RL) July 17, 2025 'I'm so excited,' the Sydney native said. 'It's been 22 years since the last Ashes, and I've been shocked by that; this is something that should be happening all the time. 'I'm so excited to show rugby league off to my London friends and go, 'OK, guys you have to watch this. I know you don't know what it's about, or you might think you know, but this is five levels up, especially when it's an Ashes Test'.' The launch began in Clapham – London's unofficial Australian capital – and also featured England captain George Williams, international teammate Jack Welsby and rugby league legend Martin Offiah. But Hills' presence at the event goes beyond his celebrity status, he is also the Rugby Football League president, a role he has held since the start of the year, and one that fills him with enormous pride. 'I honestly got goosebumps when the email came through offering it to me,' he beamed. 'Initially I was a little bit hesitant because I thought, 'How's it going to look having an Australian as the president of the RFL?' 'But I think it's good to have an Australian shouting about stuff, because sometimes rugby league gets a little bit forgotten over here. 'I come from a city where you go, 'this is the best sport in the world' and I'm not ashamed to say that. 'So, I thought, okay, I'll take the role so I can shout about rugby league in a positive way.' And Hill's has been doing just that, trying to raise the profile of the sport in every way possible, from the national to the community game, to everything in between, including speaking to Artur Martirosyan, the president of Ukrainian Rugby League. 'Off the back of [a Last Leg episode where the plight of rugby league in Ukraine was highlighted] that, I was put in touch with the president,' he explained. 'I had a FaceTime with him, and I said, 'when's the best time to chat?' 'He replied, 'Sunday is, because I'm in the army.' And I was like, 'because you get Sunday's off?' He said, 'no, no, Sundays are when my commanding officer is off so I can make a phone call. 'I was amazed at this point. I asked him what he did, and he just sent me a picture of himself behind an anti-aircraft gun. I was like 'holy s**t!' 'When then ended up talking about rugby league for an hour. We asked them what they needed, which was kit, balls etc, so we put out a plea on the Last Leg and the guys from Keighley Cougars said they'd make the Ukrainian national kit for them. 'So, as we speak, they've flown out to Poland to then take a 15-hour bus to present them with the kit. I'm loving stuff like that.' Hills was a member of the Australian side at the inaugural Physical Disability Rugby League World Cup in 2022 and hopes, through his role as RFL president, to try a promote disability rugby league as much as he can too. 'Regardless of the sport, there has to be an England v Australia Ashes,' he continued. 'I've played disability rugby league, and since becoming president, and even before then, I'm doing what I can to make sure there's disability rugby league at the next World Cup. 'We did it once and it can't be a one off. And I also think there should be a disability rugby league Ashes too. 'I really want that to be a thing.' The series kicks off at Wembley Stadium on October 25, before heading to Liverpool a week later, where a sold-out Bramley-Moore Dock will take centre stage. Leeds Rhinos' Headingley Stadium is the venue for the third and final Test on November 8, which is also a sellout. More than 60,000 tickets were sold on the first day of the priority sales window, which was a record-breaking figure for any rugby league series launch. Hills predicted a close series and expressed his desire for a winner-takes-all decider come the third Test. 'It's going to finish 2-1 to someone,' he said. 'Rugby League will be the winner, and I think that final game at Headingley will be unbelievable. 'As an Australian, where do you not want to be playing? I'm absolutely pumped for that match.'
