The Lionesses are gearing up for their anticipated confrontation with France this Saturday as the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 enters its third day. To mark the tournament's return to our screens, Jill Scott joins a string of familiar faces - including Ollie Watkins and even Emmerdale star Samantha Giles - in CBeebies ' Football Fantastics. Meanwhile, John Torode and Lisa Faulkner front the tenth series of their Weekend Kitchen while Apple TV+ raises the alarm bells for the future of the world's most vulnerable animals in The Wild Ones. Expect Michelin-level flair from John and homemade heart from Lisa with a sprinkle of cheeky chemistry. Foundation Friday, Apple TV+ Way into the future (to be honest, so far forward it's probably not worth us losing too much sleep over), a band of bold exiles has been fighting to ensure the survival of the human race. For season three of this sweeping sci-fi epic, based on the works of Isaac Asimov and starring Jared Harris, a warlord known as The Mule has his sights set on ruling the entire universe, via psychic manipulation and a touch of sheer brute force. Teen Mom UK: New Generation Wednesday, Paramount+ Back this week with six new episodes, two new mums (Leonie Hellman and Amelia Pritchard) and, before we know it, three new babies, this access-all-areas reality series continues to remind us of the multiple daily challenges young mothers find themselves having to face. At least, not until someone invents an app to do that. The Wild Ones Friday, Apple TV+ From the whales of the North Atlantic to the bears of the Gobi desert, the magnificent creatures featured in this series are all facing a bleak future. Sharks Up Close with Bertie Gregory Tuesday, National Geographic Kicking off Sharkfest on Nat Geo, Sharks Up Close with Bertie Gregory plunges explorer and wildlife cinematographer Bertie into shark territory - without a cage. In Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, he and his team (including field specialists Lacey Williams, skipper Patrick McDonald and local spotter Khwesi Namntu) document great whites hunting seals in shallow waters. This immersive documentary aims to shine a light on the secret lives of sharks but viewers will quickly understand that nature follows no schedule. It's awe-inspiring, tense and essential viewing. The Facebook Honeytrap Sunday, Prime Christine Robinson's life was brutally cut short in a senseless attack at her remote South African safari lodge, leaving her family in the UK devastated. But her niece Lehanne, in London, decided to stop at nothing for answers. This gripping two-part docuseries exposes a real-life predatory sting and the chilling reality behind the screen. Turning to Facebook, Lehanne combs through profiles and connects the digital dots - before confronting her aunt's killer face to face. It's a compelling, heart-breaking cautionary tale and an unmissable watch.

Coronation Street star 'signs on for Celebrity MasterChef' after their character died on the ITV soap
A Coronation Street star has reportedly signed on for Celebrity MasterChef after their character died on the ITV soap. According to The Sun, Katie McGlynn is set to swap the cobbles for the kitchen as she will cook up a storm to impress judges John Torode and Grace Dent. The actress, 31, played the role of Sinead Tinker until the character tragically died of cervical cancer back in October 2019. A TV source reportedly told the publication: 'The celebrity version of Masterchef has already been filmed and there's a great mix of people this year including Katie. 'She brings a bit of glamour as well as that northern sense of humour. Viewers are going to be really impressed with the standard this year. 'Katie is all about making healthy, balanced meals and wanted to see how far she could push her cooking skills on a show like Masterchef.' MailOnline has contacted a representative of Katie for details. Katie is no stranger to celebrity competition shows and she has also appeared on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. Back in 2021, the star admitted she questioned whether she was 'good enough' or 'cut out' for acting following her Coronation Street departure in 2019. The actress said her decision to exit the soap after six years 'backfired' when her career stalled, but asserted she doesn't regret leaving. Reflecting on the drought in work opportunities she faced due to the pandemic, she said to The Sun on Sunday: 'I put all my energy into the universe, expecting amazing big things, and then it all backfired.' Her heartbreaking final scenes aired in October of 2019, with fans left in tears as Sinead passed away, leaving husband Daniel devastated. She subsequently landed a promising new role in The Syndicate on BBC One and was throwing herself into new auditions. However, with the coronavirus outbreak stagnating TV production, Katie admitted she had struggled to remain upbeat about her future prospects. She added: 'I'm quite a positive person, I'm someone who tries to bring everybody up, but I have moments where I'm like: "What am I doing? Why have I chosen this career? Am I even good enough? Is it me? Am I just not cut out for this career?"' With hindsight, she confirmed that she left Coronation Street at 'the worst time,' but on the flip side, she said she would have 'regretted not leaving more than taking a chance'. According to the publication, other rumoured names for Celebrity MasterChef are Blue's Antony Costa, Love Island's Uma Jammeh and RuPaul's Drag Race star Ginger Johnson. Although a return date is yet to be revealed, the cooking competition is thought to be returning to screens later this year. It comes after boxing legend Amir Khan has revealed he turned down two major television shows after being approached by BBC bosses - including Celebrity MasterChef. The 38-year-old professional boxer, who participated in the 2017 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! was in the running for both Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity MasterChef last year. However, he decided to turn both offers down. He told Betway: 'I have been asked to do Strictly Come Dancing so maybe I would do that.' He continued: 'I have been asked to do Celebrity MasterChef recently, but I couldn't do the filming this year.' Amir said he would consider signing up for either show in the future if the timing worked out. He explained: 'There are a lot of shows but it's hard to get the time.' He also admitted that he enjoys taking part in television shows because they allow people to see the 'real him'. However, Amir emphasized that he is selective and will only participate in 'top shows'. Despite his willingness to appear on more programs, the boxer isn't desperate for the paycheck.

EXCLUSIVE John Torode declares it's 'onwards and upwards' for MasterChef after Gregg Wallace's departure as he gushes about new co-host Grace Dent
John Torode has revealed he is loving his new MasterChef co-host, Grace Dent, following Gregg Wallace 's departure from the BBC cookery series amid allegations against him of inappropriate sexual comments. The TV star, 59, told The Mail at the Fortnum & Masons Food and Drink Awards at the Royal Exchange: 'We've been filming MasterChef, which has been great and that's been brilliant. 'We've moved to Birmingham and me and Grace are having a wonderful time. She's doing a great job. So, it's onwards and upwards.' The food critic, 51, was announced by the BBC as Gregg's replacement in December after he was axed due to a series of complaints about his alleged behaviour. John said he's remained optimistic throughout the controversy that has besieged the show. 'The thing is that if you walk outside and the sun's shining, the sky is blue, and you can hear a bird,' he added. 'You're still alive, so that's a really good perspective to have.' Meanwhile, John has also been cooking up new shows with his wife Lisa Faulkner, 53, and revealed: 'There's lots of stuff happening. Lisa and I are working really hard on a couple of things, which is great. 'We've had a really exciting meeting about something exciting going on.' He added: 'We've now done 10 series, so we're doing all right. Listen, we get on really well, we do our own thing, we enjoy each other's company, we both like food, so, you know, what's not to like.' The TV personality also admitted he still sizzles with passion for the food industry and said: 'Food's exciting. There's lots of great people out there, people are working hard, everyone's always got to eat. 'I mean, you know what? Put a smile on your face, it's going to be great. Listen, it's really hard. There's no two ways about it. 'But at the same time, we've all been through things and we're lucky if you love it, you'll continue to love it.' The hit programme has moved to the former Banana Warehouse on Fazely Street in Birmingham after it was announced the show would be relocating from its London headquarters, where it had been produced for two decades. John's gushing remarks come after he dealt Gregg a huge snub by inviting Grace to his home. The former presenting duo famously never visited each other's houses, despite fronting the BBC series together for nearly 20 years, but John's new co-presenter has already headed to his house for tea within weeks of being confirmed as the show's latest host. His wife revealed she and the Aussie chef entertained Grace at their North London home where the former Holby City actress tested out the pair's fledgling judging chemistry. Lisa said: 'She came over for tea and I was really excited she has been in my house. I was like "I love you." 'We made Tea and scones, cheese scones, and sticky toffee madeleines. 'She's a joy and I think the two of them will work really well together, in fact I know they will work really well together because I let them do a bit of judging when they were together.' Speaking at the Ideal Home Show, she added: 'I think she will be absolutely brilliant. I'm a massive fan of Grace for years. 'I used to get the Guardian when she did the restaurant reviews, this was years ago, and I've loved her writing, 'I've read her books, I think she's ace.' John, who was Best Man at Gregg's wedding, has yet to speak in detail about his former co-host after he stepped away from MasterChef in November due to allegations over his misconduct. He released a statement on Instagram in December saying he found the reports into Gregg's alleged behaviour 'truly upsetting' and the 'thought of anyone who has appeared on our show not having a brilliant experience is awful to hear'. John added: 'I love my job, and I love MasterChef. I love being part of it and will continue to be part of it.' Grace previously appeared as a regular guest on MasterChef for over a decade and even competed on last year's Battle of the Critics. After being announced as the new co-judge for the new series, she said: 'I've been watching MasterChef since I was a girl sitting with my dad on the sofa. My whole family watches it. 'It's all about uncovering and championing talent – and to have ended up in this position, is more than a dream to me. 'I'm so excited that I can't eat, which is severely detrimental to a restaurant critic. I feel very lucky to be stepping in for the next Celebrity MasterChef. I can't wait to meet the fresh celebrity faces for 2025.' John added: 'I have loved working with Grace on MasterChef over the years. She has been an excellent guest, an inspiring critic and also set some incredible challenge.' He continued: 'Expertise is what MasterChef is all about, from the contestants to our wonderful production team, to us as judges. 'The love of food, the love of MasterChef, and that unquestionable expertise, makes Grace the perfect person to step in alongside me as judge for the forthcoming Celebrity MasterChef series.' Gregg has faced a series of complaints about his alleged behaviour, including claims he made inappropriate sexual jokes, shared intimate details of his sex life and even walked around set naked except for a sock on his penis. He also reportedly would take off his clothes in front of women on set, flirt with members of staff and has been accused of groping two crew members. At least 13 women have made formal complaints about the TV personality across five shows over a 17-year period, with more describing inappropriate experiences on social media since the scandal broke. His lawyers have previously denied any allegations that he has engaged in behaviour that amounts to sexual harassment. The BBC cancelled two planned Christmas specials of MasterChef amid the publicity storm surrounding the presenter, as the show's producers Banijay began an investigation.
