Farah shares Salim Khan's early doubts about Salman Khan's stardom: Now he's bhai
Filmmaker Farah Khan recently shared that even veteran writer Salim Khan once doubted whether his son Salman Khan could make it in Bollywood. She shared this during a house tour vlog with actors and siblings Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem, where the two spoke about how difficult it was to convince their parents to support their acting her YouTube vlog, Huma shared that she was the first to express her desire to act, followed by Saqib six months later. 'Mom was a little scared, particularly since we didn't know anyone in Mumbai. Both our parents were very scared, wondering how we would survive,' Huma added that he faced hesitation from their father. 'When I told Papa that I wished to go to Bombay, he sat down, looked at me, and said, 'Tujhe hero banne jana hai (you want to become a hero)?' He put so much doubt in my mind that it took me 10 days to make that decision,' he said. In response, Farah Khan reassured him by sharing a similar story. 'Salim Khan had the same doubt about Salman Khan, and now he's Bhai,' she said, drawing a big smile from Saqib, who replied, 'Fantastic, fantastic!' Interestingly, Salman Khan himself recently posted a thoughtful message on Instagram, quoting advice from his father. 'Present becomes yesterday's past, the past catches up 2 your future, present is a gift, do right with it, mistakes repeated become a habit n then your character, don't blame any 1, no 1 can make you do anything that you don't want to. My dad just said this to me, it's so true (sic),' he wrote.'Kash (wish), I heard this earlier, but it's never too late," he added. Meanwhile, Huma Qureshi is gearing up for multiple big releases. She will next be seen in 'Baby Do Die Do', a dark comedy also starring Chunky Panday and Sikandar Kher, which will be the first project from the Qureshi-Saleem siblings' production house, 'Saleem Siblings'. Akshay Kumar sells two of his properties in Mumbai at a whopping ₹7.10 crore, earns 91 percent profit: Report
Akshay Kumar is known for his movies but he's also one of the richest actors and has been the highest tax payer as well, several times. The actor also has many ways to invest his money and real-estate is one of them. He's recently sold two of his plush apartments in Mumbai's Borivali and made an incredible 91% profit in the process. According to a report by Square Yards, Akshay sold two adjoining flats located in a ready-to-move-in residential project by Oberoi Realty. The complex spans around 25 acres and offers 3BHKs, 3BHK+studios, and duplexes. The 'Khiladi' actor had purchased these apartments back in 2017. One of them, measuring 1,101 sq. ft. with two parking spaces, was bought for ₹3.02 crore and has now been sold for ₹5.75 crore. For this sale, the stamp duty alone cost him ₹34.50 lakh and registration charges were ₹30,000. The second apartment, much smaller at 252 sq. ft. of carpet area, was initially bought for ₹67.90 lakh. It was sold for ₹1.35 crore, with a stamp duty of ₹6.75 lakh and the same ₹30,000 in registration charges. The sequel to the cult hit 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' is set for filming in November 2025, targeting a 2026 release. Huma Qureshi joins the cast, loving the locked script by Umesh Bist. The film promises to retain the original's sharp, situational comedy with an expanded story world. 'Khosla Ka Ghosla', directed by Dibakar Banerjee and starring Anupam Kher, Boman Irani , Vijay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, and Pravin Dabas, unexpectedly became a box office hit back in 2006. Over time, it earned a cult following due to its sharp situational and dark comedy. Looking ahead to 2025, it has been announced that a sequl is currently underway, with filming expected to commence by the end of the year. Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 Announced Insiders involved in the project have revealed that Umesh Bist and his team have crafted a script that expands the world of the original 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'. According to a report on Pinkvilla, the film's script is locked and presently in the makers are in the casting stage. Huma Qureshi Joins as Main Character According to the report, Huma has come on board as one of the main characters of 'Khosla Ka Ghosla 2'. She heard the script and loved what is on paper. The development marks an addition to the filmography of Huma Qureshi, who is already confirmed to be part of 'Jolly LLB 3' and the fourth season of 'Maharani'. Apart from this, Huma is part of the upcoming film 'Toxic', directed by Geethu Mohandas, which is scheduled for release during the Eid weekend in 2026. The film also stars Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Akshay Oberoi . Production Schedule The team is reportedly aiming to start by November this year. This will give the makers enough time until its 2026 release. Much like the first part, this one, too, is an outright comic entertainer.
