Ram Kapoor walks back comments about having enough money to support four generations, but says Sakshi Tanwar and Ronit Roy do

Television actor Ram Kapoor had earlier admitted that top TV actors like him, Ronit Roy and Sakhshi Tanwar, have earned enough money to take care of the next four generations of their family. Now, in a recent conversation, Ram clarified his statement and reiterated that only if TV actors invest wisely can they truly save a substantial amount of money. Speaking to Republic World, Ram said, 'The question was how much TV actors can make, and I found that question very vague. Then he asked who do you consider in the same league as you and I answered Sakshi Tanwar and Ronit Roy.' He added, 'Then he asked about how much can you three people make? Then I answered that if you are in the top level of the television industry, if you are the top actor of the television industry and if you are a wise investor, then you can make a lot of money to take care of the next four generations. Like Ronit and Sakshi has 100 percent done.' Ram refuted claims that he has earned money to support the next four generations, but explained that some top television actors have managed to do so by investing wisely from the beginning of their careers. He said, 'TV is different than film. When you do a film, you might not get a film for the next two years, but in television, if you have a hit show, it is going to last for 3-4 years. Sakshi's show Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki lasted for eight years. Now when you know making that kind of money every month for eight years, it is a very very big amount. And if you invest that money wisely from the very beginning, then by the time your career is towards its end, you will have enough money for everything that you need, but the bottom thing is, if you don't invest in if you keep spending that money, then no amount is enough.' In an interview with Humans of Bombay recently, Ram Kapoor had said, 'It is not that television actors make as much as film actors. But if you have a hit show which lasts for 7-8 years and if you are at the top of television or making a lot of money, your per month cheque is equal to your salary for 8 years. People like me, Sakshi and Ronit, if you have been on television for 20 years and are sensible then you have made enough for at least 3-4 generations.' Ram Kapoor was one of the highest-paid television actors in India. He became a household name through popular shows like Kasamh Se, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kehta Hai Dil, and more. He has also appeared in several films, including Student of the Year, Agent Vinod, Udaan, and others.

Who is Shefali Jariwala's first husband? Not Parag Tyagi but THIS musician she accused of ‘domestic abuse'

Shefali Jariwala's death has left her fans, friends and family members shattered. As many continue to mourn the actor's death, her husband Parag Tyagi arrived at Mumbai's Cooper hospital where her body is kept for post-mortem. Several videos of media frenzy around Parag's public appearance have gone viral on social media. Parag and Shefali shared a close bond. In fact, it is believed that he helped her heal and give love a second chance after her troublesome first marriage. Many might not know but Shefali Jariwala's first husband was Harmeet Singh, one half of the celebrated musician duo Meet Brothers. They got married in 2004. However, their marriage was short-lived as problems began after 4-5 years, as per multiple reports. The two finally parted ways in 2009. At the time of their divorce, Shefali accused Harmeet of 'domestic abuse' as per a report of Indian Express. According to reports, Shefali Jariwala had filed an FIR against Harmeet Singh at Mumbai's Oshiwara police station, accusing him of physical and mental abuse. She also alleged that he withdrew around ₹ 12 lakh from their joint account without her permission. Talking about her messy divorce, Shefali once told Times Now, "It is very important to understand that you are not being appreciated. Not every kind of violence is physical. There is a lot of mental violence that also happens and you are very unhappy in your life. I think, one of the reasons why I could make the decision for myself, was because I was independent. I was making my own money. The biggest fear in our country is of the society. Divorce is considered to be taboo but the way I have been raised, is to not really care about society but just do what we feel is right. I could take such steps in my life and had strong support." Shefali met Harmeet after the popularity of her viral music video Kaanta Laga. She later collaborated with the Meet Brothers on music videos like Pyaar Humein Kis Mode Pe Le Aaya and more. Harmeet began his career in the industry as an actor in TV shows like Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kkusum, and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. He later gained recognition in the music scene with his brother Manmeet. Meet Bros are known for several chart-topping Bollywood hits like Baby Doll from Ragini MMS 2, Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan from Roy, and Hangover sung by Salman Khan in Kick. They also composed High Heels (with Yo Yo Honey Singh) from Ki & Ka, and Nachan Farrate from All Is Well. They also won several awards including the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Harmeet is currently married to Sunaina Singh. They are blessed with a son. After the divorce, Shefali Jariwala met television actor Parag Tyagi at a dinner party hosted by a mutual friend. In an interview with Times Now, Shefali revealed that she was single when a meeting between the two was set up. 'We really liked each other a lot and hit it off instantly. Parag and I are very similar and different in many ways. I think we kind of balance each other out,' she said. The couple dated for a few years before Parag proposed to her on the sets of Nach Baliye in 2012. In 2014, they tied the knot. Once Shefali had expressed her desire to adopt a child with Parag. The couple had a pet dog, named Simba. Meanwhile, Shefali Jariwala, popularly known for the music video Kaanta Laga, was found unresponsive at her Mumbai house. After Parag brought her to the hospital, she was pronounced dead. The cause of her death is being probed amid reports of the actor dying due to a cardiac arrest.

Actor Hrishikesh Pandey is known for his performances in shows like CID , Koi Apna Sa, Porus, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki amongst many others. When it comes to Hrishikesh, it is very important for him to take up roles that he believes in. The actor says that he has no qualms in picking up negative characters, but he needs to get into the skin of his character, before performing. 'For me, it's very important that the kind of role that I do is one that I can stand by. I will not do something which I feel I am not proud of. It is not like I always need to play goody-goody roles. I can look ugly too, but I need to look like the character. I need to justify the role to myself,' he says. Ask him if he ever feels like he needs an alternate life plan, other than acting, and he says, 'A lot of people have left their proper careers like doctors, engineers, and CAs and are doing a great job here. They have pursued their ambitions. But, for me, I have never thought of doing anything else.' Sharing about the roles he wants to take up next, he says, 'I want to do important, intense roles, good roles. I would love to do a comedy also. A full-fledged comedy is something that I haven't done yet. As for success, I definitely feel it's to each to their own. I count my success from where I've come. Every step of mine, even a single step that I've taken and moved forward, is success for me.' He adds, 'I've been there in the industry for so many years, and you know, whatever roles I'm getting, whatever things I'm doing, I'm happy with them. The important thing, for me, is to balance life.
