WNBA Star Goes Viral For 'Snitching' On Caitlin Clark
WNBA Star Goes Viral For 'Snitching' On Caitlin Clark originally appeared on The Spun. Despite sitting out Thursday night's game, Caitlin Clark still ended up on her opponent's radar. The Indiana Fever announced Thursday that Clark would miss their game against the Los Angeles Sparks due to a groin injury. The severity of her injury hasn't been revealed at this time, but there's a chance she'll miss Friday's game against the Dallas Wings. Advertisement "I think it's very much a day-to-day thing ... how she responds to treatment," Fever coach Stephanie White said. Even though Clark was on the bench for the entire Fever-Sparks game, she had an incredible interaction with Kelsey Plum that went viral. Plum told Clark to take a seat at one point during the Fever-Sparks game. She even let the refs know that Clark has to sit down. Some WNBA fans thought Plum's remarks towards Clark were hilarious. On the flip side, others accused her of snitching on the former No. 1 pick. Ratings would skyrocket," a second fan declared. "She's right, she's not the coach," another fan said. "These two are always fun they'll find their way to each other on the same team one day," a social media user wrote. It's pretty clear that Plum was just messing around with Clark. There's no reason for fans to be critical of her antics. As for Thursday night's results, the Fever fell short to the Sparks. They're now 2-4 without Clark in the lineup. The Fever will meet the Sparks again on July 5. Hopefully, Clark will be available for the rematch. Footage of 'snitch' WNBA star trying to get Caitlin Clark in trouble goes viral
Caitlin Clark was the center of attention once again during Indiana Fever's game against Seattle Sparks - despite only being a spectator on the night. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year was ruled out of the fixture after suffering a groin injury and was forced to watch on as the Sparks ran out 85-75 winners. It was the sixth game that Clark has been forced to miss during the season as questions over her availability for the Fever continue to crop up. While she wasn't able to make an impact on the court, she did step foot on it - much to the frustrations of Sparks star Kelsey Plum. Fan footage from the game has since gone viral as eagle-eyed supporters noticed the moment Plum alerted officials to the fact Clark had stepped onto the court. Plum could be seen pointing towards Clark and calling for the referee to dish out a technical foul to the injured Fever star. kelsey plum telling caitlin that she has to sit her ass down 😭😭 — winn (@caitsversionn) June 26, 2025 Clark - who stood with her arms spread wide in a gesture that signified her confusion at Plum's pleas - was not punished by the officials for the incident. It appeared that it was, in fact, a light-hearted interaction between the two WNBA star given that, afterwards, both stars were seen smiling. Responding to the viral video, one fan wrote: 'Kelsey and CC are always giving each other a hard time'. 'She was being a snitch', another wrote as they took aim at Plum for her actions. However, another user then said: 'What's sad is many won't understand that this was a joke'. Indiana Fever star Clark has dominated the WNBA since being drafted into the league last year, however has endured some hardship in recent weeks. The 23-year-old had her worst game of the season on Tuesday against the Seattle Storm, scoring just six points on 3 of 13 shooting with eight turnovers.

Kelsey Plum's Behavior Toward Caitlin Clark in Fever-Sparks Game Catches Attention
Kelsey Plum's Behavior Toward Caitlin Clark in Fever-Sparks Game Catches Attention originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark played in five games following her return from a quad injury. However, the All-WNBA point guard was ruled out yet again with a separate groin injury. Advertisement On Thursday, the Clark-less Fever hosted Kelsey Plum and the Los Angeles Sparks at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This marked the first meeting of the 2025 WNBA season between the two teams. Clark still made her way to the arena despite her injury, supporting her team from the bench. And she had an interesting exchange with Plum late in the first half. With 24 seconds left in the second quarter, Clark appeared to be arguing a call from the bench. WNBA fans seemed to find humor in Plum's behavior toward Clark, taking to social media to leave their thoughts.
