But when you're one of Scotland's most popular comedians, you have to take steps to enjoy yourself undisturbed. In a post on Instagram, Kevin ended up revealing his festival disguise. He posed with his wife Kerry in the selfie taken on the festival grounds and captioned his post: "A wee day out". The funnyman is clutching a pint and is donning a green bucket hat and aviator shades. But his headwear is doing a good job of covering the top of his face. Paired with the shades, it means festival-goers may have to look twice before recognising him. Kev's 'festival fit' will also be ideal for the warm weather the country is enduring. Temperatures are set to hit 26C at TRNSMT today as fans have been urged to take care in the heat. It is slightly cooler than the scorching 32C experienced by revellers on Saturday. TRNSMT staff have also been on hand to get fans what they need to cope with the heat. Stewards have been handing cups of water to the crowds and also using a mist sprayer to keep them cool. Fans rocked out to Biffy Clyro's showstopping closing set before belting out an iconic song as they left the park.

Kevin Bridges ‘appointed' Aussie football boss in X wind-up

COMEDIAN Kevin Bridges has taken a job as the coach of an Australian football club. Or has he? He shared a Twitter/X announcement from Central Coast Mariners FC, who posted a photo of their new Bridges-esque gaffer. In his own post, the Clydebank comic wrote: 'Excited to get back out on the training pitch. Great group of lads who want to work hard. 'Hoping to get my ideas across, play good football and bring some success to the club. Cheers.' Excited to get back out on the training pitch. Great group of lads who want to work hard. Hoping to get my ideas across, play good football and bring some success to the club. Cheers. — Kevin Bridges (@kevinbridges86) July 10, 2025 At a quick glance, Central Coast Mariners's new high heid yin looks remarkably like our beloved Bridges. Maybe they just have a similar middle-aged man look about them, which is probably why the only reply to the original post reads '@kevinbridges88 looking well mate'. Some appear to have fallen for the joke, with someone replying to his own post saying: 'Good luck in your new role, Kev.' The majority of folk so far have seen it for what it is, though: a windup from someone bored during some down time whilst on tour. READ MORE: Council rejects Ewan McGregor's £2 million mansion renovation plans 'Those Opera House gigs left a lasting impression', one user wrote in reference to his 2023 Sydney shows. In a nod to our nation's pastiness, another replied: 'Mind the SPF50 mate' Others rightfully questioned his coaching tactics, asking what systems he'll be playing and whether or not he'll employ a two-up-front formation. With Bridges currently on a tour of America, it's safe to say he might find it rather challenging juggling his state-side gigs and his new career down under despite fans having branded him as the 'hardest working man in showbusiness'. Not that it could stop him, really. The notorious Kev.I.N strikes once again.
