Full list of Glasgow roads set to close for festival
Visitors can enjoy exploring market stalls, tasting offerings from speciality food vendors, and taking part in family fun days hosted at Merchant Square.

The streets will be brought to life by Surge Festival's street theatre, offering surprising and interactive performances that are sure to delight festivalgoers.
This year's programme includes a mass ceilidh carnival on Friday, held in celebration of Glasgow 850, as well as live performances from local music artists throughout the weekend.
Family-friendly activities are being curated in collaboration with Imaginate, taking place within Merchant Square. Meanwhile, the Social Hub Stage will feature music programmed by Surge, in partnership with 432 Presents.
Food lovers can look forward to delicious street food provided by Dockyard Social, while the Ceilidh Carnival is set to capture the spirit of Glasgow through dance and celebration.

The festival market will offer a variety of artisan stalls to browse, adding to the atmosphere of discovery.
For those seeking a more tranquil experience, the Ambient Arcade and a Quiet Space will be available at Impact Arts on the Boardwalk, offering a peaceful retreat amid the festivities.
To ensure the safety of attendees and road users, eight roads in and around the Merchant City area will be closed for the duration of the festival.
Access will be restricted to all vehicles except emergency service vehicles responding to an emergency and vehicles with prior permission from Glasgow City Council's events team.

Kerr Mercer A rising star, Glasgow singer-songwriter Kerr Mercer made his TRNSMT debut on the King Tut's stage on Sunday. His next performance in Scotland is supporting Tom Jones during Discovery Festival in Dundee on Sunday, July 27. Fourth Daughter Appearing on the BBC Introducing stage during this year's festival, Fourth Daughter - whose real name is Emily Atkinson - will perform at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival on Thursday, July 31. Bizarre moment TRNSMT-goer records 50 Cent on Nintendo DS
The bizarre moment was captured by another festival-goer at the American rapper's set on Friday, July 11. In a video uploaded to TikTok, with the caption: "I've seen it all", a crowd member at the performance could be seen holding a DS in the air while recording 50 Cent's gig. After the clip was uploaded online, loads of people have since flocked to the comments of the post to praise the "DS King". One joked: "The DS King." A second added: "This is brilliant." Another said: "Ain't no way someone was filming on a DS." Meanwhile, a fourth added: "Absolute legend." TRNSMT festival: Glasgow Green clean-up operation underway
The festival, which began at 12pm on Friday, 11 July, came to a close last night, Saturday, 13 July. TRNSMT 2025 concluded after a spectacular weekend featuring standout performances from some of the biggest names in music. READ MORE: Huge TRNSMT act visits Gorbals pub and chats to staff Festival-goers enjoyed sets from artists including 50 Cent, Fontaines D.C., and Biffy Clyro. Snow Patrol delivered a show-stopping performance to close the event on the Main Stage, while rising star JADE also impressed the crowds. Revellers were treated to an unusually sunny spell in Glasgow, with temperatures reaching as high as 30°C over the weekend.
