Khloé Kardashian On Tristan Thompson Critiquing Daughter's Clothes

On this week's episode of her Khloé In Wonder Land podcast, Khloé Kardashian got incredibly candid about parenting. As you might know, Khloé shares two kids — 7-year-old daughter True and 2-year-old son Tatum — with her ex Tristan Thompson. Both True and Tatum were born amid tumultuous times in Khloé and Tristan's then-on-again, off-again relationship. Not only was the NBA player caught cheating on Khloé just days before she gave birth to True, but he wound up fathering a child with another woman around the same time that he and Khloé were preparing to welcome Tatum via surrogate. But while Khloé gushed about how easy it is raising kids with Tristan, she did open up about some of the hardships that come with coparenting on her podcast. Admitting that she sometimes gets 'defensive,' Khloé recalled Tristan telling her that he deemed a pair of True's shorts to be 'too short.' 'Tristan's not wrong, but he's like, 'Don't you think those shorts are too short on her?'' Khloé recounted. 'You wanna almost be like, 'Yeah, she's my kid!' But it's our kid. You just want to have that ownership.' 'I'm like, 'Yes, they're short, but we're just hanging out at the house pool — 'cause I will send pictures to him or whatever,' she explained. Khloé added, 'Sometimes you have to take a breath and be like, 'It's OK. He's doing what's right. Yes, the shorts are short, but we're at home lounging, so let me explain the context of these photos.'' You can listen to Khloé's quotes in full right here.

Khloé Kardashian Accused Of Editing New Photo With Son

Last week, Khloé Kardashian opened up about her use of photo editing on social media. However, in spite of her candid remarks, Khloé's latest Instagram selfies have sparked some discourse, with some internet users accusing her of heavily editing her face. In the photos, Khloé can be seen smiling next to her son, Tatum, who is 2: Let me know what you think in the comments.

Khloé Kardashian Said She Overused Filler And Filters

Khloé Kardashian discussed her facial augmentations and use of photo editing on social media. It's a topic that's landed Khloé in headlines for years now, but one that she appears to be broaching with more transparency now. Earlier this month, the reality star even commented a list of what she's "had done": In a new episode of Khloé In Wonder Land, she responded to speculation that she's "reconstructed" her whole face. She attributed her changing look to weight loss and the passage of time since she was first on television, adding, "I've also done Botox and fillers. I don't love fillers anymore. Still love Botox. I do lasers on a monthly basis. Love a fucking laser, skin tightening, anything I'll do for skin tightening. But the only facial surgery I've done is the nose job." It's worth noting that the video of the podcast appears to have a smoothing filter on it. "I noticed my face looking not the way I like it — I would say stranger — when I was doing fillers. I didn't like that look, but I think we had filler blindness for a moment, or some people did," she continued, noting that she only now gets filler where she had a tumor removed on the side of her face so that it doesn't look "indented." As for photo editing, Khloé denied that she will currently "Photoshop" every picture she posts. Still, she added, "There was a time that I definitely did. There was a time that I was around some people that would make me feel like I needed to. I also think it was the era, too. I felt like a lot of people were photoshopping, or heavily photoshopping, more than they do now. I do feel like there was a time that we all just got consumed in this filter lifestyle, and we couldn't see ourselves without a filter." "There was a time that...I wouldn't dare post a photo without heavily photoshopping. And in hindsight, when I look back at those photos, it's a cartoon character. It's humiliating that I thought that was even a version of myself. I feel bad that I thought I needed to look like that," she added. "I was around people who were all doing that. If they took my photo, they would make me look that way before giving it to me. And then I would think that's how I looked. If I got paparazzied, I'd be like, 'I don't look like that. I look like this photo.' And I really had to reprogram my mind to be like, 'Okay, we have to lay off the filters. This isn't real. That's not how I look, and I don't want to look like that.' It was a strange time," she continued, saying that she felt "consumed in the filter world." As for now, Khloé said she'll take "500 photos to get one I like," adding, "I definitely have more controlled photos, like [with] good lighting, and I might take a bunch to get the ones I like, but I don't have to Photoshop every photo." Dolly Parton explains why she's putting her music career on hold after tragedy

Dolly Parton has plenty of ideas for new music, but those ideas will have to wait. The 79-year-old country music icon is still mourning the loss of her husband, Carl Dean, who died on March 3 at the age of 82. He and Parton were married for nearly six decades. During a July 9 appearance on Khloé Kardashian's 'Khloé In Wonder Land' podcast, Parton said her husband's death is keeping her away from music. 'I can't do it right now because I got so many other things that I can't afford the luxury of getting that emotional right now,' she said of the projects she wanted to start but couldn't. 'I'll write something else, though, if it comes. I'm just putting that all on hold,' she added. Parton's statement comes four months after she confirmed the death of her husband, whom she had been married to since 1966. 'Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can't do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy,' Parton wrote in a March 3 Instagram post. Four days later, Parton released her newest song, 'If You Hadn't Been There.' 'I fell in love with Carl Dean when I was 18 years old. We have spent 60 precious and meaningful years together. Like all great love stories, they never end,' she wrote on Instagram on March 6. 'They live on in memory and song,' she continued. 'He will always be the star of my life story, and I dedicate this song to him.' While she won't be writing any new music in the near future, Parton recently celebrated the launch of a new line of Southern-inspired frozen, single-serve meals and sides with Conagra. She's also slated for a six-show residency in Las Vegas at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace from Dec. 4 to 13 and is releasing her newest book, 'Star of the Show: My Life on Stage,' on Nov. 11. Parton reveals the secret to her 59-year marriage to Dean While talking to Kardashian, Parton revealed why her and Dean made such a perfect pair. 'I have to be out in the public and I belong to the public, but I am such a private person and my husband was, as well,' she explained. Parton joked that they 'were so good for each other because he's a total loner.' 'We could just be in the house all day and say two or three words, didn't matter. Or we could talk all afternoon and lay in bed, talk at night, in the dark,' she continued. She later opened up about the lengths her husband would go to to avoid attention from her fans. 'My husband did not want to be out there. He never did an interview in his life,' she told Kardashian. Parton said her fans would see her husband mowing the lawn on his tractor and ask if he was Parton's husband, to which he would reply, 'Do I look like I'd be Dolly Parton's husband?' She also revealed the moment she knew it was best to keep her husband away from the media. The year was 1966 and Parton had just won BMI's Song Of The Year — the same year she married Dean. According to her official website, Parton's song 'Put It Off Until Tomorrow,' which was co-written with her Uncle Bill, won the award. Parton and Dean married on May 30, 1966. He was 21 and she was 18 at the time. To celebrate her musical success, Parton said she 'begged' Dean to attend the BMI awards that year — and he did, despite not wanting to. 'He rented a tuxedo. Didn't want to do it,' she said. 'And then when we were leaving that, he started taking (the tuxedo) off, taking off the jacket.' 'And he said, 'Now I want you to do great, but don't you ever ask me to go to another one of these (darn) things because I ain't going,' she added. 'And he never did. And I knew right then that I'm just going to keep him private as best I can,' she continued. Parton went on to clarify that her husband was 'very proud' of her and they got along so well because they never had anything to fight over.

"When I started my fitness journey and, like, becoming in shape, I felt such a need that I had to keep this up, like even if it wasn't for me," she shared. The reality star admitted: "I can't get fat again, because everyone is expecting that to happen." Kardashian reflected on the shifting tides of public attention, noting: "It was also a different type of attention I was now receiving ... Once I got a little older, I was like, 'Wait, this is gross', I hated that, that's why I was getting more attention because I looked a certain way." She added: "I've learned, no matter what, I'm never going to make people happy." Addressing the harsh labels she faced post-weight loss, Kardashian noted: "When I lost weight, I was 'a traitor to the bigger community'; I'm 'not myself'; I'm 'not funny anymore'." Despite the judgements, Kardashian said she is determined to remain true to her core self: "I just aesthetically look a little different, or a lot different, whatever you want to say." Kardashian has always publicly documented her fitness journey, highlighting her rigorous exercise regimen that includes four gym sessions a week and a mix of circuit training, along with personal training sessions. She was interviewed saying: "I do circuit training with cardio intervals, so I'm always spiking my heart rate up and down ... I mean my weight-loss journey. It took years for me. I've always been chubby - like athletic. I've always played sports. I just was never in shape."
