Cocaine worth more than €200,000 seized in Co Clare operation
A man, aged in his 40s, was arrested Gardaí have seized cocaine worth more than €200,000 following a search operation in Co Clare. The search operation was carried out by members of the Killaloe Detective Unit, Ennis Detective Unit and Clare/Tipperary Drugs Unit with assistance from the Regional Dog Unit in the Tuamgraney area yesterday evening. Gardaí investigate theft of two bikes from Tipperary/Clare border
Killaloe Detective Unit is investigating the theft of these two bikes, said a garda spokesperson. The theft occurred on Sunday, April 6, between the hours of 5.30am and 7am in the Ballina Killaloe area. Gardaí believe that the suspects had been travelling in a black Audi which travelled towards the Birdhill and Newport area. Any information that can assist the investigation should be done by contacting either Killaloe or Nenagh Garda Station at (067) 50450.
