Kinetic Green is set to launch a new electric scooter in the Indian market on July 28. Named after the DX, the electric two-wheeler is billed as the modern version of the two-stroke Kinetic Honda DX, which was available in the Indian market over 40 years ago. After the announcement of its launch, the brand has released the first teaser of the EV. Once launched, it will be a rival to models like the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Hero Vida VX2, Ather Rizta, and others. Starting with the design details, the electric scooter is expected to have illuminated logos. One of these units with the Kinetic lettering will be placed above the horizontal headlamp, with the logo on the front apron highlighted by the black panel. The teaser also provides a glimpse of the electric scooter's switchgear. This hints that the EV will have fake exhaust noises, probably imitating the original model. Images captured during testing of the electric scooter have provided a clearer view of the vehicle, showcasing its simple design that strongly resembles the original DX. Kinetic has shared some minor specifications about the scooter, such as the inclusion of a TFT display. The company has also announced that the battery choices for the scooter will vary between 1.8 kWh and 3 kWh, with a maximum speed of 80 km/h. From a mechanical perspective, the spy shots have indicated that the scooter will come equipped with a front disc brake and a hub-mounted electric motor, while the suspension will consist of a telescopic fork in the front and dual shocks in the rear.

The carts come in 2-seater, 4-seater, 6-seater and 8-seater options and are aimed for golf courses and luxury resorts, gated communities, airport transportation, corporate campuses and private estates. The design language draws from Tonino Lamborghini's long-standing legacy in premium lifestyle goods, incorporating bold styling, elegant proportions, and functional luxury. Technically, the carts run on a high-torque 45 Nm electric powertrain with 30 per cent gradeability for all-terrain functionality. A 10-year-lasting, maintenance-free lithium-ion battery delivers up to 150 km range, with wireless charging ability and 10-year battery lifespan claimed. Key engineering characteristics are MacPherson suspension, hydraulic four-wheel braking, and left- and right-hand drive market universal drive compatibility.
