However, Dr Bangar pointed out that the change must come from within, not just to please the other person. 'When done willingly, it becomes sustainable, meaningful, and brings happiness to both partners. One should not quit to impress the other partner or out of fear that your partner will leave you. Be responsible and make the decision, keeping your health in mind. Ultimately, it is not about perfection, but about growing into a better version of yourself for the relationship to thrive,' said Dr Bangar.
