'Ted Lasso' Season 4 first look revealed as filming begins in Kansas City
Ready to "believe" again? Apple TV+ has released a first look photo from the upcoming fourth season of "Ted Lasso," which has officially started production in Kansas City. Filming is also set to take place in London, the streamer said. The photo shows Jason Sudeikis' titular soccer coach seated at a restaurant alongside his old colleagues Leslie Higgins (Jeremy Swift), Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) and Keeley Jones (Juno Temple). Brett Goldstein's Roy Kent and Brendan Hunt's Coach Beard aren't pictured in the image, but both characters are also returning for the new episodes, Apple has confirmed. Goldstein and Hunt are also producers on the new season. Several supporting characters from the first three seasons of "Lasso," including Nick Mohammed's Nate and Phil Dunster's Jamie Tartt, have not been announced as part of the Season 4 cast. The glimpse at Season 4 comes more than two years after the Emmy-winning soccer comedy aired what appeared to be its final episode in May 2023. The show's first three seasons followed college football coach Ted as he is recruited from Kansas to coach a British soccer team, AFC Richmond. By the end of Season 3, Ted said goodbye to the team and moved back home to the U.S. to be with his son, Henry (Gus Turner). Sudeikis and his fellow "Lasso" producers had said in interviews that a three-season arc was planned from the start of the series. But despite the finality of the Season 3 finale, which also tied up many stories for the supporting characters, Apple never explicitly confirmed that it was the end of "Lasso." After years of fan and media speculation that the show could continue in some form, a fourth season was officially announced in March of this year. "Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would." Sudeikis teased in a March statement that "as we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to 'look before we leap," in Season 4 "the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it's exactly where they're meant to be." Speaking to USA TODAY in April, Goldstein said he "cried and we had such an emotional goodbye" at the end of Season 3 of "Lasso," but "I do think a part of me thought this wasn't the end." "It sort of felt like surely there'll be a way to do more." Newcomers to the cast in Season 4 include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern. Grant Feely will take over the role of Ted's son, Henry.

The new season of the show is set to go into production 2 years after the previous batch of episodes was dropped. While the fans believed it to be the last season, the makers returned with yet another one. Hannah Waddingham speaks up about Ted Lasso season 4 In conversation with the media portal, Hannah Waddingham revealed that she was eager to know where her character ended post-Ted Lasso season 3. The actress shared, 'It feels like it was the most beautiful, beloved dog that was buried, and now we've exhumed it, and I am here for it.' She further revealed, 'I was hankering and hankering and hankering and hankering to see where Rebecca had gone, where she was going to. She's my girl. She's in my bloodstream, so I'm thrilled that it's been exhumed.' The actress, who won an Emmy for her role in the soccer comedy, gave a big smile to the camera and said, 'I can't wait to get involved with that and put my penneth in and go shopping for her looks.' In addition to Waddingham, Jason Sudeikis, who portrays the role of a soccer coach, will also return for Season 4. Hardest Clue - Always a lot to choose from here, but it's almost always something with a Rebus, which in this case whas the ginsu knife from the old TV ads, as sometimes it will be used to make something plural, but not in this case, and you needed it to face the base word in. The uncommon leave more and more workers are taking
Her first panic attack came at a company-wide meeting, right before her scheduled presentation. Carolina Lasso had given many similar talks about her marketing team's accomplishments. When her name was called this time, she couldn't speak. 'I felt a knot in my throat,' Lasso said. 'My head, it felt like it was inside a bubble. I couldn't hear, I couldn't see, and it felt like an eternity. It was just a few seconds, but it was so profound, and in a way earth-shattering to me.' Lasso was struggling after a cross-country move followed by a divorce. Her boss suggested a mental health leave, a possibility she didn't know existed. She worried whether taking time off would affect how her team viewed her or cost her a future promotion, but in the end she did. 'I'm thankful for that opportunity to take the time to heal,' Lasso, 43, said. 'Many people feel guilty when they take a leave of absence when it's mental health-related ... There is some extra weight that we carry on our shoulders, as if it had been our fault.' Despite a fear of repercussions, more adults are recognising that stepping back from work to deal with emotional burdens or psychological conditions that get in the way of their lives is a necessary choice, one that a growing number of employers recognise. Loading ComPsych Corp, a provider of employee mental health programs and absence management services, encourages its business clients to make the wellbeing of workers a priority before individuals get to a breaking point while also having processes in place for those who require leaves of absence. 'Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, collectively we've just been in this constant state of turmoil,' Jennifer Birdsall, the senior clinical director at ComPysch, said. 'We just have had this barrage of change and uncertainty.' Depression, anxiety and adjustment disorder, which involves excessive reactions to stress, were the top three diagnoses of employees who took mental health leaves in the past two years among clients of Alight, a Chicago-based technology company which administers leaves and benefits for large employers.
