Madison LeCroy on her excitement over becoming a girl mom after giving birth
Madison LeCroy is a (southern) mom of two. The reality star, 34, who welcomed her second child, daughter Teddi, with husband Brett Randle on Sunday, June 29, opened up about becoming a girl mom for the first time. LeCroy also shares son, Hudson, 12, with her ex-husband, Josh Hughes. 8 Madison LeCroy poses with son Hudson and daughter Teddi. Madison LeCroy 'I would say, obviously, I've experienced the boy mom and it's a true thing, so I'm super excited to be a girl mom for the first time,' she exclusively told The Post on Wednesday, just three days after giving birth. 'Everything's pink and girly. I'm already just having such a blast,' LeCroy gushed. 'So I know it's just going to get better each day. I didn't think I was going to get both, to be honest. So I'm very lucky to be able to experience it.' 8 Madison LeCroy with her husband Brett before giving birth. Madison LeCroy Hudson, meanwhile, couldn't be happier to welcome a little sibling into their family. 'Honestly, at first I was a little worried he was going to be jealous,' LeCroy confessed. 'But, of course, he's just taken on the role where he's almost a little bit more protective than me already. So I am happy to see it. And I know he's going to be the best big brother ever. She's very lucky to have him.' Through it all, the 'Southern Charm' star has Randle, whom she tied the knot with in 2022, by her side. 'Not that he ever told me 'no' anyways, but he's definitely not told me 'no' in the past eight or nine months,' she shared. 'Anything I want or we need, he's on top of it. He's been being there for me and doing things without me even having to ask. I know I picked the right one when you end up expecting a child with them and you realize how it's going to be. I definitely feel like I hit the lottery with that.' 8 Brett Randle holds his newborn daughter. Madison LeCroy LeCroy underwent a C-section at 34 weeks, but despite going into labor early, she was ready to enter the hospital at any moment. 'I had full glam, so I made sure to have a blowout and I made sure to have light, fresh face of makeup, just for pictures' sake,' she recalled. 'I definitely think that for me, good hair and good makeup is all I can do for now.' LeCroy also touched on the best piece of motherhood advice she's received, and it came from someone very special to her: her late father Ted LeCroy, who died in 2023. 8 Madison LeCroy poses with her baby bump. Madison Lecroy/Instagram 'Just have grace for yourself,' LeCroy stated. 'Obviously, when it comes to your children, let them be individually who they are going to be and don't try to live through them too much. My dad would always say, 'Don't kill their spirit.' Whether that means they're a little unhinged or not just let them be who they're going to be. I'm definitely going to take that into consideration.' Fans can expect to see the former hairstylist step into her new role as mom-of-two on the next season of 'Southern Charm.' As for who from the cast was supportive throughout LeCroy's pregnancy, the influencer shouted out her close besties. 8 Madison LeCroy shows off her baby bump. Madison Lecroy/Instagram 'The girls have always been there for me,' she expressed. 'So I would say Venita [Aspen] has always been there. Rodrigo [Reyes] and Salley [Carson], of course. So everyone's been pretty, pretty great.' On Thursday, LeCroy opened up about her birth experience while talking to US Weekly. 'I was in labor for 48 hours basically [because] my water broke at home,' she recounted. 8 Madison LeCroy with her husband and son. Instagram LeCroy added that she began going into labor at 2:30 a.m. after being out at a concert for her mom's birthday. At the time, Randle, who is a firefighter, was at work in California. 'I ran upstairs, and I was like, 'Mom, I don't have anything packed,'' LeCroy said. 'It was funny 'cause me and her both were like in my closet trying to pick out what we were gonna wear to the hospital.' 'We kind of prolonged the labor, and Brett got here and then we waited another day and had the C-section, and there she was five minutes later.' 8 Madison LeCroy. Madison Lecroy/Instagram LeCroy had the perfect song for Teddi to make her entrance into the world. 'My doctor, she's amazing. And at this point she was, like, a friend, and we were sitting there talking and we were like, 'What [is[the playlist gonna be for this?'' she detailed. 'And we were joking around, we're like, 'Girl power, let's go Taylor Swift.' So we did, we rocked out to Taylor Swift during the surgery.' LeCroy elaborated, 'So that's what she was born to. Now don't ask me what song, because at that point I don't have no idea. But yeah, girl mode all the way.' 8 Madison LeCroy and Brett Randle. Madison LeCroy/Instagram Teddi — who is named after LeCroy's late father — ended up spending a 'few days' in the NICU due to 'protocol' for babies who are born early. 'She's a little. She's only five pounds, but she's breathing on her own and hasn't needed any oxygen or anything like that. She's kind of a little trooper,' LeCroy revealed. '[Doctors] were shocked with how early she was that she was gonna be this independent. So I was like, 'Oh, I wasn't shocked at all.''

Red Wings prepare for new season, cold weather
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — This year's Red Wings roster spent the last month down in Florida, getting ready for the season at Nationals Spring Training. Wednesday was a big change in weather conditions from the sunny Florida skies to Rochester flurries and temperatures that failed to reach 40 degrees. The Wings held their first practice of the year on Wednesday, preparing for Friday's season-opener in Buffalo and next Tuesday's home opener. Matthew LeCroy is back for his fifth season as the team's manager. It's the first time a Red Wings manager had that long a run since the legendary Joe Altobelli from 1971-1976. While no one is calling LeCroy Mr. Baseball in Rochester just yet, as a former Red Wings player, he has plenty of respect and admiration for the Flower City. 'I go places and people ask about the club, the team, so I think that's pretty neat,' said LeCroy. 'If I'm going to be in the minor leagues, this is a great place to be. The town, everybody they treat me very well and they support our team. They're really awesome and the best thing that I want for our city and this community is to win a championship.' The return of LeCroy is also a welcomed sight for all of his players. 'A guy that you definitely want to play for, and I'm happy to be here playing for him, for sure,' said Red Wings outfielder Robert Hassell III, a 2020 first-round pick. 'Everybody loves him, too. It goes along way to have a coach that really cares about the players.' The Wings went 77-71 last year, their first winning season since 2017. Many of the top players from last year's squad, like James Wood and Dylan Crews, have graduated to the big-league club. But there are still exciting prospects in town like Brady House, Washington's top pick in 2021, taken 11th overall. House played 54 games with the Wings in 2024 and hit .250 with six home runs. 'You never know when your time is going to be,' said House. 'It usually happens when you least expect it. I think what they're looking for most up there is consistency. So with consistency comes patience.' The Wings spent much of their practice session in their new indoor training facilities— two new batting cages, a workout room, and a video room. 'This is by far the best [training facilities] in the league and probably one of the best I've seen in the big leagues,' said LeCroy. 'The town did a nice job of putting together an unbelievable facility for these guys to come in and work every day. We don't have any excuses now.' 'It's awesome. Guys are going to be living in there,' said Hassell III. 'Guys are going to be wanting to stay in there all of pregame instead of chilling in the clubhouse doing nothing.' But the team will have to brave the elements soon, dealing with Western New York weather as best they can. 'I'm a California guy,' said infielder Darren Baker. 'It's a little different than what I'm used to. I wouldn't say you ever really get used to it but you kind of learn how to deal with it and find a couple of tricks and stay warm for a couple of hours.' 'I don't even know if there's a way [to stay warm],' said House. 'Mentally, just telling yourself it's not that bad. That's kind of helped in the past for me.' The Red Wings are scheduled to play their home opener on Tuesday, April 1st. Last year, the Wings had their opener postponed four times due to bad weather. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. Southern Charm's Madison LeCroy expecting baby no. 2, her first with husband Brett Randle
Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy is pregnant with her second child, marking her first baby with husband Brett Randle. The couple confirmed the news, sharing their excitement as they prepare to welcome their newest addition. The baby will join LeCroy's 12-year-old son, Hudson, from her previous marriage to Josh Hughes. LeCroy partnered with Clearblue to share the pregnancy announcement, revealing she was "shocked" by how quickly it happened. "We planned for this, but I thought I had all summer. Then it happened instantly," she told PEOPLE. While experiencing minor pregnancy symptoms like headaches, she said she's mostly been "enjoying all the food." The news comes after a challenging period for LeCroy, who recently lost her father and supported Randle through a thyroid cancer diagnosis. "I hadn't heard good news in what felt like two years, so this was beyond exciting," she shared. Her son Hudson was the first to know. "He was like, 'Eh,' at first, but then after getting a puppy, he realized he loves caring for something," LeCroy joked. At 34, she notes this pregnancy feels different than when she was 22. "I had the glowing skin back then. Now? Exhausted, acne, and no weight loss at the start," she admitted. As for baby names, she's considering honoring her late father and grandmother. "I'm saving my dad's name for sure," she confirmed. Despite the ups and downs, LeCroy is embracing the journey, saying, "I'm just going to wing it—tell me less, and I'll figure it out."
