This year's Worthy Farm event saw headline performances from The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo, with Rod Stewart taking the coveted Legend's Slot. Plenty of acts gave us something to talk about this weekend, with Kneecap and Bob Vylan sparking controversy with their sets. Several secret sets took place, including Britpop icons Pulp, Lorde, Haim, and Lewis Capaldi. Gary Numan was among the stars who played their first ever Glastonbury this year, while one DJ hit three figures when it comes to the number of sets they've performed. Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, performed a whopping six sets at this year's festival, which took him past the big 100. To mark the occasion, he played a Lonely Hearts set Friday, a Block 9 Genosys and a Shrangi-La set Saturday, and a surprise set on Sunday. For the secret set, Slim, 61, was joined onstage by his son Woody Cook for a B2B performance in front of an elated crowd. Woody, 24, who the DJ shares with ex-wife Zoe Ball, danced around the stage while his dad hit the decks. Fans took to social media to congratulate 'the best duo' on the milestone, with Nickwill123 writing on Instagram: 'What an amazing thing for father and son to do!!🔥❤️❤️.' Connorhickss added: 'This was just amazing to be a part of. And I can't wait to see more from Woody He is truly amazing with unmatched energy ❤️🙌.' 'Amazing what an honour. Dad and son. Enjoy xxx,' Terribaker7980 wrote. Ahead of his Glastonbury appearance, Woody walked 192 miles from Dover to Pilton to raise money for various environmental charities. At the time of writing, Woody and his music collective, Truth Tribe, have raised more than £14,000 with the incredible feat. It was a whole family affair at Glastonbury after Zoe, 54, who was married to Slim from 1999 until 2016, was spotted at the event with a mystery man. More Trending A source told The Sun: 'Zoe is down at Glastonbury as a punter and has brought her new boyfriend along for the ride. 'They seemed blissfully happy and were strolling along holding hands. 'She was really smiling at him as they walked along and he was very protective of Zoe and put his hand across her back. 'People were doing double-takes at her bloke though because he looks a lot like Fatboy. It's so great to see Zoe smiling again.' Got a story? Lily Allen delights fans at Glastonbury with surprise performance with Shy FX
Lily Allen went from enjoying the entertainment at Glastonbury as a member of the public to performing on stage herself as she grabbed a mic to support dance act Shy FX Lily Allen has shared her delight at being able to perform in front of fans at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival. The 40-year-old singer was a surprise performer at the festival on Saturday night. Lily had been sharing snaps and video clips from Worthy Farm as she embraced the fun and festivities of the annual event. And on Saturday night she switched from partygoer to performer as she picked up a mic to sing on stage. She joined the DJ and producer Shy FX and belted out their 2018 track Roll The C. Lily donned a pair of sprakly hot pants and simple vest top as she danced and sang on stage. The viewing crowd gleefully sang along and footage circulated on social media - which Lily herself re-posted. She uploaded a collection of highlights from her weekend on Instagram. Uploading the content to her main grid, she wrote: "Much fun was had. Thank you @glastofest and @mercedesbenzuk for the lift!" Her sudden appearance meant Lily was on stage at the festival alongside huge stars including The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo. Sir Rod Stewart was also among the stars performing at the festival this year and previously shared his excitement about playing the festival. He will play the teatime Legend's Slot on Sunday - a titled that he isn't overly thrilled about. He told the BBC: "I just wish they wouldn't call it the tea time slot. That sounds like pipe and slippers, doesn't it?" However, he went on to tease fans what to expect when he takes to the stage. He said: "Usually I do well over two hours so there's still a load of songs we won't be able to do. But we've been working at it. "I'm not gonna make any announcements between songs. I'll do one number, shout 'next', and go straight into the next one. I'm going to get in as many songs I can." The singer explained that he usually plays for over two hours when he is on tour and that Glastonbury organisers initially offered him only 75 minutes for his slot - but he was able to negotiate this up to 90 minutes instead. His performance was, however, hit with technical issues and he was forced to leave the stage at certain point to resolve the issues. Straight after entertaining with his rendition of Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, Rod told the crowd: "The girls are going to do a song for you while I change my shirt. " The 2025 festival has been marred by controversy, however, as a relatively unknown band called Bob Vylan led crowds in a chant of "Death to the IDF". The sickening chant has led to the festival being compared to a Nazi rally as eager crowds egged on the suggestion of killing the only Jewish army in the world. Further controversey was stoked when Irish band Kneecap - who have been slammed for urging fans to kill MPs and for supporting the terrorist organisations Hamas and Hezbollah who both plan to destroy the western world - also took to the stage. While the Kneecap performance was censored by the BBC, Bob Vylan's set streamed live on the BBC leading to political leaders to blast the festival for allowing dangerous rhetoric to air. Addressing the backlash, a BBC spokesperson said: 'Some of the comments made during Bob Vylan's set were deeply offensive. During this live stream on iPlayer, which reflected what was happening on stage, a warning was issued on screen about the very strong and discriminatory language. We have no plans to make the performance available on demand.'

Jo Whiley claims she is 'banned' from camping at the Glastonbury festival
Jo Whiley has claimed she is forbidden from hiring motorhomes to stay in at the Glastonbury festival as she previously 'trashed' one - so now she stays in a hotel instead Jo Whiley has claimed she is banned from camping at the iconic Glastonbury festival. The annual music event is back this weekend with headlining stars including The 1975, Rod Stewart and Olivia Rodrigo. BBC radio host Jo, 59, has been presenting coverage from the event across the decades and has chatted to some of the biggest hellraisers of the music world. The star, who will return to Worthy farm to helm highlights from the 2025 festival, has been sharing some of her experiences from over the years. Reflecting on her accommodation experiences, Jo says she has been banned from camping on site at the music event. She recalled once hiring a Winnebago motor home - only for this to get trashed as there was foul weather the year she was there. Now she stays in a hotel near to the festival grounds - keeping herself away from the traditional camping experience. She explains it is a far cry from when she first went to Glastonbury as a teenager, and found her rain-soaked tent sliding towards one of stages. She told The Times: 'I remember our tent, which was right in front of the Pyramid Stage, sliding down a hill towards the stage. We left at five o'clock the following morning, after cooking bacon sandwiches on the platform of the train station. 'Accommodation has improved since then. We did the Winnebago thing and it got trashed and then we weren't allowed to have another one. We did shows from there, so we had the Arctic Monkeys, Lily Allen, Klaxons, Mika and Amy Winehouse — they kept coming into the Winnebago to do interviews because it was the only dry place. 'I remember interviewing Amy Winehouse and Blake [Fielder-Civil] from basically my bedroom, with my kids there, too. I can't remember exactly who was responsible for the trashing, but I'm sure the Klaxons played a fairly large part.' Now much more used to glamorous accommodation in a hotel, Jo says her hotel "feels like home" whenever she attends the festival. The forecast for the festival this weekend appears favourable - with temperatures expected to range between 17C and 29C - however light rain may affect the grounds on Friday. Campers may want to ensure they secure their tents too, as some strong breezes are also expected at the event. Sir Rod Stewart has shared his excitement about playing the festival. He will play the teatime Legend's Slot on Sunday - a titled that he isn't overly thrilled about. He told the BBC: "I just wish they wouldn't call it the tea time slot.
