FanDuel Promo Code Offer for July 18, 2025 FanDuel Promo Code No Code Required New User Offer Risk $5, Receive $150 in Bonus Bets With a Win In-App Promos 30% MLB Boost, 30% The Open Boost, etc. Terms and Conditions New Customers – 21+ in Eligible States Bonus Last Verified On July 18, 2025 Information Confirmed By Newsweek Sports Betting Staff When you are set up with your new FanDuel Sportsbook account, you will need to place a $5 bet on any market. The key caveat is that you must win your $5 bet to get the $150 in bonus bets. With this in mind, you should look at a wide variety of markets before placing your $5 bet. For the baseball games, you might want to look at some prop opportunities. A moneyline bet would qualify, but predicting the winner of an individual baseball game is hard, even if the matchup looks lopsided on paper. Betting on a batter to record a hit or a pitcher to strike out a certain number of batters might be a better way to go. This type of strategy is likely the smart route for The Open Championship as well. Betting on the winner would not be the way to maximize your chances of getting the bonus bets. Wagering on a player to finish in a certain position or better in a given round is likely a smarter way to go. If you win the $150 in bonuses, make sure to use them within seven days before they expire. Secure Profit Boosts At FanDuel When you are registered with FanDuel Sportsbook, you will be able to take advantage of several in-app offers in addition to the welcome promo. Ex-Titans OL Taylor Lewan recalls regretful moment vs. Steelers' James Harrison
When players retire from the NFL, they often talk about other players or matchups that left an imprint on their careers, or when together in a group they talk about specific players who challenged them, or had an intimidating reputation. One player that often comes up in conversations is Pittsburgh Steelers edge James Harrison. Harrison was not only intimidating, but his performances could be scary. The undrafted rookie's rise to become one of the most dominant players in league history is well-documented, and those who faced him in his prime will never forget their battles. That includes former Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Taylor Lewan, who got to meet the freight train early in his career and talked about the experience on the Bussin' with the Boys podcast. 'I played him my rookie year on Monday Night Football.' Lewan said on the podcast Bussin' with the Boys. 'Before the game started, all the offensive line were like, 'Hey, we know you like to chatter a little bit. Don't talk to this guy. Don't say a word to him. Just leave him alone. Hopefully he stays asleep during the game.' But it's like Monday Night Football. I'm hyped up. I'm juiced up. 'I'm ready to make a name for myself. So, three plays into the game, something happens. I'm like, 'I'm here all day,' whatever dumbass comment I make. 'I'm here all fucking day.' And he doesn't say a word to me.' Even though Lewan was facing an older Harrison, what transpired that night left a lasting impression on the young offensive tackle. Harrison did not let the trash-talking just disappear into the night. 'Then, like he kind of lines up in a four (technique), and I'm like, 'I'm about to cut off this dude so fast.' And I go to cut him off, I go to put an arm up. He drops down to the ground and just grabs my ankle and starts gator rolling. Starts gator rolling me. And right then and there, I thought, 'Okay, yeah, it might be over for me.' It might be over for this conversation the rest of the game." That game during Week 11 of the 2014 season struck a chord with Lewan, who went on to have a successful career with the Titans, earning three Pro Bowl selections before retiring in 2022.

Travis Kelce opens up about how reading challenges affected his 'SNL' debut
While Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been known to make touchdowns on the field, he's been trying his luck at scoring off the field in the world of acting. Appearing on a July 1 episode of 'Bussin' With The Boys,' a podcast hosted by former NFL players Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, Kelce opened up about breaking into the acting world and some of its challenges. Reminiscing on his 'Saturday Night Live' hosting gig in March 2023, Kelce said that while he felt 'so much more comfortable' doing comedy, he still felt nervous and was concerned that he wouldn't be taken seriously. Kelce remembered thinking, ''I want to take advantage of this, like, I want to have fun doing it but I don't want to look like a loser doing this. I want to make them respect my approach and how I'm taking it serious.' Calling the rehearsals leading up to the show 'a crazy ride' and 'just a fun rollercoaster,' he explained that he was at Rockefeller Center preparing all week until 2 or 3 a.m. every day. When asked about the 'SNL' writers' rooms, Kelce called them 'fun because you're just getting pitched ideas.' But when it came time for the table read, the football star called the experience the 'hardest f---ing part' about being on the show. 'The table reading — for a guy that can't really read that well — it was kind of a f--- situation,' he said. 'I felt like I was just trying to get through the reading instead of actually acting it out and giving it a voice and giving it a character, things like that.' 'I was just focused on, 'Don't f------ skip this line,'' he added. Lewan admitted similar troubles, telling Kelce, 'Brother, when it comes to reading difficulties, I will be on that side of the aisle with you my entire life.' When Kelce added that he considers himself 'more of an audio guy,' Lewan joked, 'That's why they make audio books now, for guys like us.' ''You reading?' I'm listening. I'm listening quite a bit, actually,' Lewan said as Kelce laughed. Earlier in the interview, Kelce touched on his 'fun cameo' in Adam Sandler's upcoming sequel, 'Happy Gilmore 2,' which is set to hit theaters July 25. 'That's where I see myself kind of focusing, like those fun cameos,' he said, later adding, 'like in 'Happy Gilmore,' I'm a waiter. Like a fun a-- f------ role in a movie with a guy, Adam Sandler, who I've loved my entire life.' 'I'd kill to do movies like that for the rest of my life,' Kelce said of the new film. Despite his recent list of acting credits, including 'Happy Gilmore 2,' Kelce admitted that acting is a field he's not 'comfortable in yet, especially enough to do serious stuff,' telling the podcast hosts that he doesn't 'feel like I've grasped the acting world yet.' In 2024, Kelce took on his first 'serious' acting role as Eddie Lachlan in Ryan Murphy's show 'Grotesquerie.' While he credited the 'really good cast' for showing him the ropes, he said he felt out of his comfort zone 'preparation wise.' 'I'm so prepared for an NFL game,' Kelce explained. 'In my career field, I get an entire week to figure out a scheme, how I'm going to attack somebody, how I'm going to handle certain specific situations. And when you go into acting, it's just, I didn't feel as prepared.' The Super Bowl champion says he wishes acting had a similar approach to his on-field plays, saying, 'Every single director I've met on scenes, I'm just like, 'Coach me up. I'm here to be coached. If I suck, tell me I suck. Tell me how I can be better. I'll take all the criticism, I don't give a f---.''

Tennessee Titans add signal caller in 2014 PFF re-draft
The NFL draft is always a flurry of activity, met with instant analysis and grades on every pick. It's often fun to look back and see what would have happened if a player's NFL performance were factored in. But, sometimes, redrafts of past drafts, where a player's career has been played out, are even more fun. The Tennessee Titans would love to be able to go back and re-draft a few of their classes over the years. While they have hit on a few players, others are epic failures. It's a good thing for Titans fans that the team at Pro Football Focus (PFF) loves to redraft past classes and see what could have been. In their latest entry, PFF decided to look back at the 2014 NFL draft to see how things could have been if the Houston Texans opened the draft by selecting all-time great Aaron Donald first overall instead of David Carr. Eventually, they made their way to the Titans at No. 11 and also made a significant change. 11. Tennessee Titans: QB Jimmy Garoppolo, Eastern Illinois (Round 2, Pick 62) Original Pick: T Taylor Lewan, Michigan Three quarterbacks started at least five games for the Titans in 2014: Zach Mettenberger, Charlie Whitehurst, and Jake Locker. Tennessee opts for some consistency here with Garoppolo, who has been mostly an average quarterback in the NFL, posting a 79.9 career PFF overall grade so far. He did almost lead the 49ers to a Super Bowl victory in 2019, but it's the much-needed quarterback-room stability he provides that makes him the 11th pick in this redraft. Lewan was a solid pick, and his legacy in Nashville cannot be overlooked. The offensive tackle came in and solidified the Titans' offensive line for an extended period. However, had the Titans taken Garoppolo, things might have been different. While never a superstar, Garoppolo was a consistent quarterback who proved he could be a successful signal caller in the league, even leading the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance. During that period, the Titans were in quarterback purgatory and could have used a steady playmaker at the helm to steer the offense; he would have been a solid value and a good pick. Looking back, while adding a quarterback would have been a flashy move, the focus on the offensive line was probably the right way to go. No quarterback can be successful without a solid line in front of them. If you don't believe me, just look back at the 2024 Titans' offense from 2024. So, while Garoppolo would have garnered some headlines, Lewan was likely the right choice.

'You're not good enough': Ex-NFL star says Donald Trump publicly humiliated him over embarrassing first pitch at Cardinals game
Taylor Lewan faced playful mockery from Donald Trump regarding his disastrous first pitch at a St. Louis Cardinals game (Getty Images) Former NFL star Taylor Lewan recently shared a hilarious story about a chance encounter where President Donald Trump playfully roasted him over his notoriously bad first pitch at a baseball game. Lewan, whose botched throw garnered widespread online mockery, recounted Trump's witty jibe, adding a comical chapter to his post-football life and sparking a lighthearted vow to improve his throwing arm. Taylor Lewan says Donald Trump mocked his first pitch fail Former NFL star Taylor Lewan recently shared a hilarious story about President Donald Trump playfully mocking his notoriously bad first pitch at a baseball game. Lewan, whose errant throw went viral, recounted Trump's witty jibe, adding a comical chapter to his post-football life. Last week, Lewan's first pitch at Busch Stadium for the St. Louis Cardinals grabbed attention, going viral due to its wildly off-target throw. The spectacle quickly spread online, sparking widespread amusement and commentary. At UFC 316, Lewan and Will Compton briefly met Trump. As Trump passed, he shook Compton's hand, then comically focused his humor on Lewan. Lewan recalled initiating the conversation: "I got, 'Oh, Mr. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Perdagangkan CFD Emas dengan Broker Tepercaya IC Markets Mendaftar Undo President, remember the podcast?'" To which Trump promptly retorted, "'Remember that throw?' And kept going. D.J.T. looked at me, scoffed. He goes, 'You call yourself an American? I thought you were a big, strong man? Looks like you're a little boy. Looks like you're a little boy who can't throw a ball." Zach Top's New Single 'Good Times & Tan Lines' + Taylor Lewan Reacts To First Pitch Fiasco | Bussin' Lewan continued, mimicking Trump's gestural emphasis: "And then he went like this. Figuratively, my chest right here, 'You're not good enough.' And he walked away. Yeah, that's what my life is now, boys. OK? So, while you guys lay your heads on your pillows at night. Remember, at least you're not me, OK, because I'm in hell and there's only one thing I can do – pick up a ball and start throwing." Lewan sensed the impending disaster even before his pitch left his hand; it sailed woefully off-target, landing dangerously close to the first base on-deck circle. Thankfully, no one was injured, but a visibly mortified Lewan tossed his cap and performed pushups. His lamentable throw was instantly likened to musician 50 Cent's infamous first pitch years ago, highlighting its widespread awfulness. "This is the worst day of my athletic career and that includes the Chandler Jones game. I need redemption," Lewan declared on X, referencing a game where Jones remarkably sacked quarterback Ryan Tannehill on five separate occasions. He later added, "Not gonna dwell on comments about 'keeping my chin up' coming from someone without one. No excuses. We have to be better, and there will be redemption." Lewan earned recognition as a Pro Bowler for three consecutive years, from 2016 through 2018. Also Read: Aaron Rodgers' helmet drama overshadows Steelers debut as NFL bans longtime gear of choice
