See where Michigan State football landed in Locked On College Football's preseason Big Ten power rankings
Where would you rank Michigan State among its peers in the Big Ten as we enter the 2025 season? Locked On College Football has an answer from their point of view.
Locked On College Football has released its preseason Big Ten power rankings, with the Spartans landing in the bottom half of the league. But, surprisingly higher than other news outlets rankings I've came across.
Michigan State came in at No. 12 in the preseason Big Ten power rankings from Locked On College Football. The Spartans are listed one spot behind Nebraska and one spot ahead of Wisconsin.
The Spartans come into this season looking to break a three-year bowl-less streak. Michigan State finished last year with a 5-7 record and is again projected to be around that record per win total over-under bets.
Michigan State kicks off the 2025 season on August 29 in a home matchup against Western Michigan. Kickoff from Spartan Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on FS1.
