Longueuil police looking for missing teen possibly in Montreal
Kellyane Beaupré has been missing since June 15. (SPAL) Longueuil police are looking for a missing 15-year-old girl who could be in Montreal. Kellyane Beaupré was last seen June 15 in Boucherville. She has short brown hair, dark eyes, missing front teeth and nose and ear piercings. She was wearing a graphic white t-shirt, blue jeans and beige platform Crocs with green and pink details. She could be in downtown Montreal near the En Marge 12-17 youth shelter on Alexandre-DeSève Street or the Longueuil metro station, according to police. Police say they worry for her safety and urge anyone who sees her to call 911 or contact their local police station.

Man in hospital after shooting in Longueuil

Longueuil police (SPAL) received a 911 call at 8:30 p.m. about the incident at 1700 Victoria Ave. Once on site, officers located the victim, who was transported to hospital with injuries to the upper body. His life is not considered to be in danger. No arrests have been made. A security perimeter has been established in the area. Unconscious person found after Longueuil fire

Longueuil police (SPAL) says it received a call from the fire department about the fire at 7 a.m. Monday at a single-storey home on Viger Street in the Saint-Hubert borough. The force says it found the two people, one unconscious and the other suffering from severe smoke inhalation. That person was treated by paramedics, and their life is not considered to be in danger. A third person who was also in the home is being interviewed by police. Officials say they have yet to determine what caused the fire. A security perimeter has been established to allow investigators to canvass the scene.

Driver crashes into Boucherville home before fleeing on foot
A driver crashes into a house in Boucherville on Montreal's South Shore before fleeing on foot. (SPAL/Facebook) Police on Montreal's South Shore are searching for a driver who crashed into a house in Boucherville before fleeing on foot. Longueuil police (SPAL) received a 911 call at 10:10 p.m. Sunday about the collision at a home on Marie-Victorin Boulevard. When officers arrived on site, they located an overturned vehicle and found damage to the property and home. 'Everything suggests that speed and alcohol were factors, but the investigation will determine the exact cause of the collision,' said Mélanie Mercille, a spokesperson with Longueuil police. The force says no one in the home was injured. The driver, who fled on foot on Marie-Victorin Boulevard, is believed to be in his 30s. 'Officers are searching for the man so they can arrest him,' confirmed Mercille. A security perimeter has been set up in the area.

Boucherville restaurant Madame Bovary targeted by fire

Longueuil police (SPAL) says it received a call at 3:40 a.m. from firefighters asking for assistance at the scene of a fire at 20 de Mortagne Blvd. 'The first information indicates that the fire was intentionally set,' said François Boucher, a spokesperson with Longueuil police. There were no reported injuries, and none of the neighbouring businesses suffered damages. Investigators remain on site to determine the circumstances surrounding the fire.
